Back to the Ukraine Front, while the News networks cover the War Iran, Putin's Russia still attacks the Democratic Ukraine, one should not forget this Long War, its like WW1 with its Trench Warfare.  This War could lead to WW3, whatever Trump thinks of the War. Putin will try to increase pressure on Ukraine, as he knows the WORLD is looking at this new War in the Middle East and fearing about the World economy as oil prices go up.

The WAR was expected to be short, destroyed Russian tanks had dress uniforms for the the tank soldiers who expected to get to Kyiv within a week! The Ukraine fought back, thus fours years of Trench Warfare, Europe has not seen it since WW1.  The Biden Administration and Europe supported the Ukraine, of 2025 Trump Administration has been a hindrance, demanding that NATO countries pay for the military kit and not signing security guarantees, thus the frozen front line in the front line.  The War goes on.

The Russians have had time to make their trenches bomb proof, thus stalling the Ukraine offensive, the West cannot allow for the Ukraine to run out of ammo, the Russian Bear has to be removed one way or a another, the Russian Soldiers can always surrender or desert, but they would face the wrath of the Putin Regime, thus the Ukraine has no choice it has to use cluster bombs to remove the troops and push them back to the real Russian borders.  The Putin red line is the Crimea, he will not allow Russia to lose it again.  The question is will Western powers have influence with Kyiv to get them to agree to PEACE DEAL that allows  Russia to keep the Crimea.  In return Kyiv could demand that the Ukraine becomes part of NATO.

The Ukraine offensive has started, it is making small gains along the way, the fact that the Russians blew up a dam has not greatly stopped the offensive, the NATO must keep supporting the Ukraine, its cheaper than in putting in their own men and it allow NATO to test hour their military kit.  There is no argument that the Russians have the manpower but they do not have up to date military kit, this is shown by their weakness and the use of mercenaries, the food supply for the Ukraine and Africa is the worry, with the the Dam blown, will the people of the Ukraine be able to feed themselves, and what about Africa.  This will be a long war of attrition, the West cannot afford to lose, and Russia is the same, if the Ukraine lose they lose their freedom and Country and NATO would face a major setback, while if Russia loses it would be the end of Putin and could cause Russia to break up!

The Kyiv Government would have every right to send in Saboteurs in to Russia after what Russia has done to the Ukraine, they haven taken vast areas in the Ukraine, destroyed TOWNS and CITIES, killed thousands, raped women and stolen the children of the Ukraine, but one doubts that the US and the West would allow that, it helps the Russian PR and keeps Putin in power.  It could be local resistance groups out to undermine Putin or it could be a FALSE FLAG operation by Putin, trying to show that Putin is right that the West is trying to destroy Russia.  This blog read an interesting article in the UK Sunday Times that shows that Europe is worried about the result of the 2024 election, if Trump wins or a Trump like candidate, the Governor of Florida then the US might withdraw support for the Ukraine.   As the article states that Putin just has to wait out Biden, and hopes Trump wins then he might still win in the Ukraine.  Thus the WAR could last months, well in to 2024 and the November Election.

This would be the main story of the day, but the US debt ceiling is like JAWS, there and cannot be spun away.  It is taken a long time to the Biden Oval to get to this point, months in fact, this just might be the red line that pushes Putin to go with a WMD answer to the Ukraine War.  It is a game changer, the Ukraine Army and Air force will have the latest military kit to push Putin out of the Ukraine and the Crimea. This blog has been somewhat surprised that Putin has not tried something in the Baltic States or Finland the newest member of NATO.  The Kremlin needs a diversion to make the West pause, and a strike on the Baltic States or Finland could do that, or get China to invade Taiwan, that would drag the US in to Asia or get North Korea to have a air nuclear test.  The last days of Putin could be coming!

The above is the reason why the WEST does not hire mercenaries, the sole concern for Prigozhin is that his Soldiers get the credit for any success in Bakhumt, as the article notes the Russian Defence Ministry needs to be concerned about the WHOLE FRONT, of course the Russians could be plying mind games, giving the impression of division and hoping to distract the Kyiv Government and with the False Flag operation the West with the Drones attack on the Kremlin.   Putin must know worry that the mercenaries turn on him and his regime, there are more extreme Russians on the right, who want to use nukes in the Ukraine as to stop Russian losses, what is the point of having nukes if you cannot use them and no one thinks you will. The false flag operation on the Kremlin could be a reason to sell to the Russian people that the Kremlins drops nukes on the Ukraine.   This could be a very dangerous point of the War.

One does wonder if the Russian people really know how bad the WAR in the Ukraine is going, that the Russian General Staff and Putin have wasted a hundred thousand lives, they are all sons, father, husbands to someone one, even those taken from Russian Prisons.  The big question is when is the Ukraine offensive and the Western support going to hit the Russians and with luck push them back to the Russian border.  The forces of the Ukraine must be careful with the Crimea, this really could be the Russian RED LINE, will Putin's kremlin tolerate losing the Crimea, it is the only war water Port the Russians have, the West must allow Putin a get out, out of the rest of the Ukraine but the Russians keep Crimea.  The land is not worth WW3,and then Ukraine can become part of NATO and prevent any other attacks from Russia.  This is going to be a long War.

This is a signal one would presume that the planned Ukraine offensive against the Russian Amy will take a few weeks to get started, the new tanks from the West and older Soviet Fighter jets from the former Warsaw Pact Countries will help but the new tanks from the US will have a bigger punch.  Thus far Moscow has been quiet about the move, one can expect them to say that the Western Forces military kit will extend the WAR in the Ukraine.   When the Ukraine offensive comes it should need to push the Russians back to the Crimea, if that is successful then the  West will need to have discussions about the future of the Crimea, the West might suggest that the UN might take over the place, thus keeping from Russian hands, they will not like that, but then the West will have won and can write the peace terms.   At all costs we must prevent WW3 happening over the Crimea.

This blog is surprised that the above did not get more news time on the 24 news channels, the problem is that the news channels have gotten bored with the story, their ratings go higher for local stories, CNN has become obsessed with the Fox News Trial, there hatred is more than a rival, they hate that rival is more popular than them, they have a high view of themselves, they should not, they have had their own internal scandals, those they have not covered,  their hatred of Trump has not bounds, what will they do if Trump get the Republican nomination next year, just  cover the limited time POTUS gives to the press and cover for him when he makes a mistake. In 2020 Biden ran from his home bunker, will the press allow him to get away with that in 2024.  One can expect the liberal press, NYT and CNN to over for him, it makes one smile that CNN still thinks it is a objective news network.  They are so out of it, its mad, the same can be said of Fox News, they support the viewers who watch them, thus those on the Trump side watch Fox.

One would not be shocked if Putin did use a tactical nuclear weapon in the Ukraine, he has nothing to lose, the Russian offensive has stalled and the Ukraine is waiting from reports for the ground to get harder, thus they can use their new tanks and fighter jets to take the fight to the Russian bear. Let's hope they are successful, one hopes they understand that they have to wait for Western approval to take the Crimea, the Russians have dug new deep trenches, and they might consider the Crimea a RED LINE for them.  Thus the use of tactical nuclear weapon to STOP the forces of the Ukraine.

The No1 War Criminal on the lose checks out how much damage his Army is doing to the Ukraine, also checking to make the Army is still loyal to him given the disaster that the Ukraine has been for Russia and the aim of Putin to return to the Glory years of Imperial Russia and the USSR.   One is surprised that Putin has not tired something BOLD to change the news on the ground, his loses his mouth to threaten nuclear war, but does nothing, and has not really reacted to Finland becoming part of NATO.  The Unity of NATO must has been a shock to Putin and the Kremlin, in fact Putin has made the NATO foundation stronger, Germany has finally given tanks to the Ukraine and Eastern Europe has given the Ukraine some old fighter jets.  Thus the question when will the Ukraine offensive take place, this might be their one chance of victory, the Russian offensive has failed so far.   It is time to push the Russians back to the Crimea.

The expected Ukraine offensive against the Russians should be ready in a few weeks, when the West has supplied all the tanks they have promised then the Kyiv Government  can take the fight to the Russians, thus Russian offensive has stalled, the inch by inch taking of the Russians has been stalled by the brave action of the Ukraine Forces, in their trench's, with Drones and in their old Soviet Fighter Jets.  The West needs to send modern Western Fighter jets to the Ukraine, the Russians have moved tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, this is sabre rattling by Putin, he has nothing else in the shed, in many ways the Russian Army is a busted flush, it has shown that it has bad generals, that it has bad strategy and is WEAK when it counts.  This is the time for the West and the Ukraine to smash Russia, push it back over the border and retake Crimea.  There can only be one winner, and that is the Ukraine.

The World knows that the Russian Bear lies as it breathes, the Russians are testing the US, they are waiting to see what action the US takes, if the US does nothing the Russians will think they can push the US about in international airspace, the next time there might a be a US crew on board a US plane or a ship in international waters, the US must do something, just as a warning to the Putin's Russia, more sanctions are not enough, the US has to be tough, talking to the Russian Ambassador in the US is not enough, the US should take down a Russian drone, or warn a Russian ship off, or take a look at any cargo going to Russia, it might have ammo from Iran or North Korea.  That would be a warning to Russia to BACK OFF, otherwise the US will look weak.

The above will place pressure on the Western Allies to give the F-16 fighter jets as requested by the Ukraine, the arrival of the Polish jets should help with the Ukraine offensive, also the arrival of tanks, modern tanks should give the Ukraine a good chance to push the Russians back,  the Kyiv Government really needs to punch the Russians hard, even push them back to the Crimea, the real RED LINE for Putin could be the CRIMEA, he sees the Crimea as part of Russia, and if that falls to the Ukraine it could be the end of President Putin.  The Western Allies will be at the table should the Crimea fall, THEN the West might need to uses its influence of the Kyiv Government, the Ukraine Army cannot go in Russia prober, that might start WW3.  Also there are historical lessons of Countries who have tried to invade Russia, it does not end well.

Thus the reason that Bakhmut has become more important, its a meat grinder for Russian mercenaries, as long as the ex convicts are fighting there and meeting their maker there,  they cannot be fighting anywhere else in the Ukraine and the Ukraine can reinforce its own forces after Bakhmut.  One does hope that the CIA and MI6 are helping the Kyiv Forces with intelligence on Russian movements and that NSA and GCHQ are breaking Russian codes and listening to Russian Soldiers on their mobiles.  It seems that the Russian communication for soldiers to talk to their families does not exist, thus use of mobiles, not the most secure way to get information home.   Ukraine intelligence must be wary that the Russians do not use this as away to give false information to the Kyiv Government and change strategy.   Bakhmut most be held  at ALL COST, no matter the consequences, the Russians cannot be allowed to win this ruined city.

This is not a shocking or surprising, Russian Forces are firing more ammunition that it has, there are reports that IRAN has sent suicide Drones to Russia and that North Korea has also shipped millions of ammunition to Russia.  The Axis of Evil supports one another, one has to ask why Western Navies have not prevented such shipments.   This is the time for firm action from the West, let's prevent WW3 before it happens, let's learn the lessons of history.  Let's STOP Iran now, inspect their cargo ships.

The one thing Russian has is enough men to throw in to the hell that is the Bakhmut battle, as stated by many reporters the City of  Bakhmut has no strategy value but is a symbol for both the Ukraine and Russia, a Russia win would be seen as a positive and supporting the Special Military Operation of President Putin, while in the Ukraine the taking of the city would allow the Russians to have a deeper offensive in to the Ukraine as noted by the President of the Ukraine.  As noted in previous post the tanks promised by the West will start to turn up at the end of this month, thus the Kyiv Government can start to push the Russians back, therefor the West must move fast to send their tanks, this might save Bakhmut, and the save the lives of Ukrainian forces.   The West also must send Western Fighter Jets to the Ukraine, this would be a game changer, Ukraine must not lose this battle or this WAR.

At last the tanks are coming from the West to the Ukraine, so far the new Russian offensive has not be a great success, as posted on this blog yesterday.  The arrival of Western tanks at the end of March will allow the Kyiv Forces to push back the Russians, when that happens the Russian Army and the mercenaries will lose more men in the Ukraine, the PUITN Regime controls the media in RUSSIA from TV to the internet, finally the print press, the Russian people are being feed lies, that the WAR is going well, therefore if you can believe the reports that the people support the war, those that don't are wisely keeping quiet, no wants to spend years in jail by protesting the Special Military Operation as called by Putin.   That kind of control can not last, sooner or late the Russian people will rebel, it might come with a 2nd call up, the Russian Army needs more men, the clever men should head to the border and get out of danger of being called up for an illegal war.

Lets Get Real:

The City has been stated by military experts has having no value, the battle in Bakhmut has gone beyond military value, it has become a matter national prestige, the Ukraine side want to make sure that the Russians shed tons of their blood in trying to take the city, while the Russians need a military victory, this is why it has gone to street to street fighting.  There are reports out there that Putin might need to call a second mobilisation, those that have so far avoided the call up should start heading to the borders, how can Russia have any honour when it uses mercenaries, convicts from prison, the lowest of the low.  It can be understood why even Kremlin supporters are starting to ask questions, they question the Army, to question Putin means a walk through a window from a high floor.  This is a grinding WAR, it might last years, one does wonder when the people of Russia will have a enough of this bloody WAR.
