Let's Get Real:

The Democratic Party is being taken over by the LEFT, Trump calls them Communist, this faction has no understanding of the US, one can argue that they don't like the US much, J.Edgar Hoover would have had a field day with them, this faction could do with being bugged.  They are dangerous, as Trump took over the Republicans, the hard left is trying to take over the Democratic Party.  The question is can LEFT wing Candidates win in the fly over States, then we come to 2028 schedule for Presidential Primaries, the Democrats have decided to keep South Caroline as the 1st Primary, due to the African - American vote, last time this was done was to help President Biden in his re-election in 24, and we all know how that ended, they forgot that Barack Obama won the Iowa caucus in 08, a majority White state, it showed he could win White votes, the rest in history.  Then we have the problem of Iowa and New Hampshire, NH has a legal requirement that they go first in Primaries, so who will break first, NH or the Democratic Party.  Thus the same issue with Iowa, they tend to go first, small States that can road test candidates, many a candidate has been broken in Iowa and NH or seen their campaigns rise in the polls, Clinton in 1992.  The Democrats could be creating their own defeat in 26 and 28.

Let's Get Real:

Trump made one major mistake, he did not understand the Middle East, the politics or culture.  The Trump Oval comes Real Estate and Reality TV? That is all he knows, then he started a War he did not finish, once you start a war you finish it, Presidential Credibility is at stake.  Trump did not learn the lessons of Obama in Syria.  One would think he would learn that weakness never works, thus Trump must finish the WAR by winning it, otherwise he is a big loser! 

 

Trump wants changes in Iranian Peace Deal - Update

CNN: Reports the following, " president has insisted on tougher language surrounding Iran’s nuclear commitments and its pledge to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. "

Let's Get Real:

The endless talks are what a CNN commentator called an escalation trap, either Trump makes concessions or escalation of the war.  The Tehran Regime are past Masters at playing the West when it comes to nuclear talks, the Obama deal took two years to get done and its cost, thus the worry by Trump that he is being played and the Iranian Regime wants to unfreeze its assets held in banks due to American sanctions.  The White House has gone very quiet on the issue.

US - Iran Draft Deal - Update

Let's Get Real:

The idea of giving 12 billion to Tehran should stop the deal in its tracks.  Trump has complained about Obama's Iran deal giving billions to Iran.  President Trump promised this would not happen, has Trump turned chicken again.  The Tehran Regime will spend the money on funding its terrorists Allies in the Region and World wide.  The Hawks in the US Congress should oppose such a deal, its a present to a terrorist Regime.  One hopes that Israel will oppose the deal.  Trump is a TACO President and weak.

Update: Sky News reports in its 3.26pm post that a deal has been agreed by the US and Iran 3 days ago, but both Tehran  and Washington D.C have been slow to sign, the deal gives the ceasefire an extension of 60 days and opens the Strait of Hormuz, but leaves the Nuclear stockpile of Iran for later talks.  If confirmed, thus would be a strategic defeat for Trump, sets the conditions pre War, and this blog will state that Iran will never give up its nuclear stockpile, its their future security.  The US hawks will be appalled, Israel will be very concerned about its security.  A major failure for Trump and the US.  The Democrats will have field day before the Mid Terms.  Trump really is chicken, TACO is confirmed.

Great Deal or No Deal on Iran - Trump

Trump is obsessed with Barack Obama, he spent most of his first campaign on the LIE that Obama was not born in the US.  Thus Trump wants to show that he can get a better deal than Obama.  The new deal still leaves Iran with its nuclear stockpile, and more talks, Tehran will play that out for ages, in time for 2028 Presidential cycle.  The Tehran Regime know now that they can wreck the Western economy, by closing down the Strait of Hormuz, and Trump is a chicken, who will not follow through with threats.

Marines and more ships to the Middle East - Update

The Liberal left will hear Marines are coming and think Ground Troops.  They will think this is another Vietnam, Afghanistan or Iraq.  On the issue of ground troops they could be right, if Trump Oval wants Iran's nuclear stockpile, US troops will have to dig it out and get the Uranium, that was covered by US bombing last year.   The placing of ground troops, could also help remove the EVIL REGIME, Iran does not have the men or military kit to take on the US.

This blog has predicted that POTUS will not strike, he will want to give Iran time to make a deal.  Any deal will be weak, a light version of Obama's deal with Iran, Tehran must know that if they give the impression of submission the Trump Oval will back off.  Trump wants good headlines, and if need be a short war, and then declare victory, Trump is a WIMP, he will not want a long war before the elections in November, thus no strike on Iran.

Update: CNN Reports on the Trump dilemma " He can either enforce his red line — however belatedly — or do something quite politically fraught. " The American people do not want WARS, on that CNN is right, Trump was elected to be a domestic President not the Policeman of the World.   Of course the problem is that he would be following President Obama when it comes to red lines, the infamous red line that Obama set in Syria, when the Assad Regime used chemical weapons on his own people, and President Obama did not ACT, he lost Presidential credibility after that, so what will Trump do, he is a wimp, he will take a 2nd rate deal on Iran's nukes, there are elections in November, he needs to keep the House, if he loses the Congress there will be endless investigations and impeachment and then 2028 cycle will start and Trump will be a lame duck President, and there is nothing he can do about it.

Those protesters injured in Iran fear going to the hospital- Update

BBC News: Reports that protesters injured in the latest protest are afraid of going to hospital as the Tehran Regime will arrest them or take the bodies of those killed and demand that the families pay a fee to get them back.

The title of this post could be, why Trump wimped OUT on striking Iran, but it is reported that the aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln is on the way to the Gulf, to late to help the protesters who are to afraid to leave their homes, being machine gunned to death can put ONE off protesting! It is reported that Israel asked Trump to hold off, for security reasons, that does not cut it, WARS happen when you least expect, just ask the Ukraine in 2022 and now.  WHEN a President of the United States has a red line, and it is broken the Oval must act or it loses credibility! Just ask Barack Obama about Syria.  One just has to look how LBJ's credibility went down when his speeches and words on Vietnam did not match the reality of the War.

Has Trump been talking to Putin, it seems that the protesters who thought Trump would come to their rescue, thousands died, will have died for nothing! its seems either Putin or VP Vance, have influenced Trump.   This is another Barack Obama moment, Trump has wimped OUT, the Regime wants on its last legs, Trump stated that the protesters fired back, they had no arms to shoot back, and Trump's call for the protesters to seize institutions now feels like a call for them DIE.   Shame on POTUS and the West doing NOTHING.

The above shows that Iran is worried, they should be, this threat from Iran might force Trump in to action, if he does not ACT, he will been as doing a Obama, when the former President did not attack Syria after drawing a red line on Assad using Chemical weapons against his own people, Trump has drawn a red line on Iran.   The World awaits! 

US has the leverages over the new Venezuela Government - Secretary Rubio

BBC News: Reports that Secretary of State, Marco Rubio has stated the US has leverage over the new Venezuela Government.

The US Government has learned from IRAQ, they are going to use Maduro Government to get what they want, the oil and Iranian and Cuban advisors OUT, if the Government does not agree, then the US can use force. The US cannot keep the Naval force on standby forever, thus expect action either way, the new Venezuela President has stated she will play ball, we shall see the outcome.

A deal on the Ukraine - Russia War might be close, Sky News reports that Zelensky and Trump are to meet on Sunday in Florida, why travel if not a deal, still no 100% answer from Kremlin, just talks will go on.   IF Trump can pull this off, he might have earned that Nobel Peace he wants, he wants to equal Obama, who got one for doing NOTHING.

Russia still a THREAT, - US intelligence

Sky News: Reports in its 9.45am post that   US intelligence has a negative view of Putin ambitions, he wants the WHOLE of the Ukraine and even States in NATO.

Lets Get Real:

Putin wants the USSR back, he has stated the dissolution of the USSR was the greatest tragedy of the 20th Century, he seems to have forgotten WW1, WW2, the holocaust.  Let's be clear, Putin wants Imperial Russia back, that would include Finland and the Baltic States.   PUTIN has fooled numerous President of the US going back to Bush 43, the exception was Biden.  The Russian War machine thought Ukraine would be a walk over, it was not, even with Trump in the White House.

This blog could never see Bush 41 being that frank about Reagan or Biden about Obama.  VP Harris blames Biden, her campaign staff for her loss in 2024, she does not seem to get the fact that outside California she might be a BAD CAMPAIGNER, even Obama from news reports had doubts about her in a general election and wanted her to fight for the Nomination rather than be given it by the powers that control the Democratic Party.  HARRIS is running in 2028.

The Oval wants the ceasefire to hold for pure personal reasons, Trump wants the Nobel Peace Prize, it irks Trump that President Obama got it for doing nothing.  There is no way in hell that the Nobel  Committee will give him the prize, the Democrats have called him a Fascist and a tyrant.  There is a chance of war with Venezuela over it being a narco state, Trump must live in a different reality to the rest of us.

The 22nd Amendment prevents a President running for a third term, it was done after FDR ran won four times.   It was passed by a Republican Congress, sometimes history bites you on the backside.  POTUS could resign and run again, the Courts would have a field day on that issue.  If not for the 22nd Amendment, then Reagan, Clinton and Obama would have ran again, Reagan was popular, thus his VP won, the two Democrats either saw their VP or nominee defeated by Bush 43 and Trump in 2016.  Of course POTUS could be needling the Dems and those on the left.  One hopes Trump is having fun.

VP Harris is running in 2028 OR I will eat my words - 2028 Race

The former VP and the Democratic Nominee is running in 2028, as if that is wise, the simple answer is NO, she is not the most qualified candidate ever, let's see from the modern period, the nuclear age, Truman in 1948, he dropped the bomb on Japan, the only President that has used nuclear weapons, Eisenhower planned D - Day and was a crafty President, he gave the impression that he played golf all the time, his hand was on the tiller so to speak.  Then in 1960 Nixon was the most qualified to be Ike's successor, Vice - President for 8 years and had a great mind, but he lost to the charming JFK.  LBJ has been President for a year before 1964 and was firm supporter of civil right, Senator Barry Goldwater was to right wing, in 1968 Nixon came back and beat LBJ's VP, of the two on cv it was Nixon. Thus Nixon swamped the Democratic Nominee in 1972.   In 1976 Reagan nearly beat President Ford for the nomination but lost by a 100 votes, Ford was beaten by Carter, neither was fit to be President.   In 1980 Reagan beat Carter by 44 States, he had been Governor of California and  and was more suited to being President since 1968, he was a dark horse candidates but lost to Nixon.  In 1984 Reagan beat former VP Mondale by 49 States, 525 Electoral College votes and 59% of the vote.   In 1988, Bush 41 Beat the Democratic Nominee because it was seen as Reagan's third term.  No future President has managed that kind of victory not even Obama.  In 19992 Clinton was the better politician if not the best man for the Presidency.   In 2000 VP Gore lost to Texas Governor Bush 43, either would have been a good fit for the Oval.  The 2004 election saw Bush 43 beat Senator Kerry, he was the better politician and he had been President on 9/11.   The age of Obama came in 2008 when he beat a WAR HERO, ego better than actual President, in 2012 he won re-election even if he had misjudged  Putin.  Thus we come to 2016, the election of Trump 45, he lost in 2020 to better candidate at the time, former VP Biden.   The President made a mistake of running in 2024 and the rest is history.

President Obama is great at rhetoric, and has charisma to spare, but it was a mistake to say such remarks with President Trump on a State Visit to the UK, if nothing else it will annoy Trump, who has a very thin skin to insults from Democrats, and from Obama specifically.  Lets recall that the American people had a choice of a third Obama term in 2016 with Hillary Clinton, and they elected Trump45, Obama  left OFFICE with a 58% approval raring in a Gallup poll, well behind Reagan on 63% and Clinton on 66%.  Also Reagan saw his VP became President, Bush41, no two term President following has had that success.  BIDEN was thrown out by his own Party.

The deadline for a Ceasefire in the Ukraine is this Friday, the question is will Putin play Trump again, agree to a deal then break it and will Trump be tough with Putin, POTUS really wants that nuclear peace prize, the Nobel Committee gave it to Obama for doing NOTHING, just getting elected President.  Interesting hours and days ahead.
