Tougher US sanctions on Russia - Update

Let's Get Real:

Finally Trump has seen the light or his polls have shown him he can't keep appeasing Putin.  The new sanctions are tough and should have some effect on India and China, they buy oil from Russia.  The new sanctions also target Iran.  Trump has scored a victory in Greenland by having permanent control of Greenland's security, he has to get his polls up before the Mid Terms in November.

US Attacks Iran - Update

Let's Get Real:

Either Iran reacts or does nothing, if wise and that is questionable they will not act, thus a limited operation from the US.  Trump has no Presidential Credibility any more, his harsh rhetoric on Iran is not march by military reality.  The Tehran Regime can outlast Trump, the Oval has to worry about the Mid Terms that should see Democrats take the House, even the Senate is a possibility, then in depth investigations by the Democrats and the start of the 2028 Presidential Election cycle.  

CIA Director visited Russia to warn against Russian action - Update

The CIA Director had two messages according to the article, don't take action in the Baltic States or Poland and STOP all economic and military support for Iran.  On Putin taking action in the Baltics and Poland, this blog is convinced he will take action after he told Trump he would not, and Trump believed him, POTUS is delusional, he is Putin's puppet.  Thus as President Kennedy said to his press Secretary after meeting the USSR General Secretary " Grap your balls " it is going to be a COLD WINTER, expect something to happen later on this year! As stated Putin is to conscript three hundred thousand new troops, expect more negative stories about the Baltic States and Poland to appear on Russian State TV. On Iran the Russian Leader will continue to support Iran, it weakens US and Trump. All this could happen before the November Mid Terms in the US.

Will see if this works and if Iran's enablers care what Trump does or what he says!  Trump has made big threats before and did not carry them out, will he follow through, this blog has its doubts.  The Trump Oval had lost whatever his Presidential Credibility he had over Iran, a war that was meant to last a few months is still on going, Military action has failed with Iran, now its economic, the US is fighting a conventional war, while Tehran is fighting a religious war, the only thing Iranian Regime has to do is survive to win, Trump needs a quick victory, its a matter of politics.

Russian Ship Fires at UK Yacht - Update

The Russians again, they fired on the UK Yacht because the UK took one of their shadow tankers, they carry sanction oil.  The UK will have to Dress down the Russian Ambassador, and take more shadow tankers, and make it clear to Russia, our ships can fire back in our Waters.  The Russian bears needs its claws clipped, it has been in the Ukraine, the British Lion needs to show its claws.

Israel has made it clear that it is staying in its security zones in Lebanon.  There are a few days days before the official signing ceremony, let's see what happens in Lebanon, a week is a long time in politics!  The Daily Mail reports that VP Vance is not keeping to the line that the Strait of Hormuz will be forever toll fee, that it is for later talks, what about the nuclear stockpile will the US get that or does Iran get to keep its nuclear Ace.  Trump has stated that the US will not give money to the Tehran Government like the Obama Administration did, is that still true, or was it another lie from Trump who cannot tell the difference any more, there is the REAL WORLD and the deluded world of Trump. Time will tell.

The endless talks are what a CNN commentator called an escalation trap, either Trump makes concessions or escalation of the war.  The Tehran Regime are past Masters at playing the West when it comes to nuclear talks, the Obama deal took two years to get done and its cost, thus the worry by Trump that he is being played and the Iranian Regime wants to unfreeze its assets held in banks due to American sanctions.  The White House has gone very quiet on the issue.

If Iran does not react then they are desperate for a deal as Trump always states, the article notes that any tanker that pays a toll fee to Iran will come under US sanctions.  Thus who will blink first, an ERRATIC President Trump or Tehran.  That is a tricky question, today will be interesting!

This POTUS being good coo/bad cop in one.  On the good side Trump will lift sanctions and there will be talks on Iran's nuclear stockpile, the bad cop is offering increased bombing.  This could be Trump's Munich 1938, Tehran get what it wants and Trump gets a piece of paper. PEACE IN OUR TIME ANYONE! 

Trump's 15 point plan - Update

Let's Get Real:

This blog watched Trump performance in the Oval and came to the conclusion either Trump was mad or your blogger is!.  The 15 point plan removes sanctions from Iran and they cannot be bought back if Iran cheats.  Iran gives up its nuclear stockpile, and cannot go nuclear again, this rings of North Korea again! Of course Iran will cheat.  The Strait of Hormuz is secured from being closed, again its a matter of trust, who will be on the other side of talks, and can you trust them?  Thus looks a trust but not verified deal.  Thus US will back here in a few years time.

More on the 15 points - Update

Reagan  believed in Trust but verify when it came to the old USSR and they cheated, that is why the Treaty failed.  This has the hallmarks of another North Korea.  The removal of sanctions is a mistake, this will allow the corruption Tehran Regime to carry on.  The IAEA will have a big job to keep Iran from cheating, you cannot trust the theocracy.  At least Trump can declare victory, even if its FAKE.

This move shafts the Ukraine, the point of Western sanctions on Russia was starve them of money to support the War in the Ukraine, does any one see Trump putting them back on.  If the Strait of Hormuz is blocked and gas prices go up in the US and the West in general, Trump will ease the sanctions more, as Sir Keir Starmer is out in the COLD when it comes to POTUS, his influence will not be much, as the Ukraine will complain to the Coalition of the willing that sanctions are being undermined by the US.   The ramifications of the Iran war could have negative effects on the War in the Ukraine, Trump is a pawn of Putin, the Russian leader will be happy.

Sky News: Reports in its 9.10am post that the Former President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and a firm supporter of Putin, has stated that the oil sanctions by the US is an Act of War.

The Former President has been a HAWK on every aspect of the Ukraine War, he has stated many times that Western action would lead to WW3, he has no real influence, Putin listens to his dog more than Medvedev, this just shows that the oil sanctions might work in the end.

BBC News: Reports Russian has had a CALM reaction to President Trump's opinion of the War in the Ukraine.

The Kremlin is astute, it knows that Trump is very mercurial and can change his mind within a day.  DOES the Oval actually do anything? More sanctions on Russia, more arms for the Kyiv government.  Putin can wait Trump out, he has before with other US Presidents, time will tell.

Good talks in White House talking point, but the secondary sanctions will still go in to place on Friday, as far as we know, the article states that there might be a deal to halt long range strikes, the truth will be in the pudding.   Thus far Putin's Kremlin has played Trump like a fool,  it could be that Trump is praising the talks while still keeping the sanctions on board, thus his secondary sanctions in India.  Of course Trump could fold and allow himself to be played, and not place the extreme secondary sanctions on Russia, the US Senate Bill is on the extreme side, we shall see on Friday.

The Russian economy is a total war economy, as the article states, 40% of its budget goes on the War, the West needs to spend more, it did during the Cold War, thus the West won the Cold War, this lead to the dissolution of the USSR in 1991.  PUTIN seems to have forgotten that lesson, WW1 lead to the downfall of Imperial Russia and the Russian Revolution of  1917.    Its time to remind the Russian Bear, that it can be beaten.

The ball is in the Russian Court, they are having their end WW2 anniversary and a so called Ceasefire in the Ukraine, that ends soon.  The Ukraine and Allies have threatened more sanctions on Russia if they refuse the ceasefire, this blog expects a negative reaction from the Kremlin.   Putin sees himself as modern Tsar, he wants Imperial Russia back, not just the USSR, thus his mangaled reading of history.  The Russian Bear has his nose in the basket, and that is called Europe.  IF only the Ukraine had not given up its Nukes! This War might never had happened.
