Is CNN working for Iran, if they had been around for WW1 or WW2, they would have been thrown in the brig, it seems from sources that Kharg Island has been upgraded by Tehran Regime, from mines to air defences.  Is the War Department full of appears, who are afraid to take action, they want to blockade Kharg Island from the article, that would put US ships at the mercy of what is left of Iran"s navy and attacks from the Iranian mainland.  The talks discussions seem to conflicting messages, is Trump reading his own press statements ( they all do after a time) are there splits in Tehran.   If your confused, SNAP, so is everyone else.

4 of 6 US Service personnel killed in Plane Crash - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 9.37am post the following, " Four US crew members confirmed dead after refuelling plane crashed in Iraq  "

The refuelling plane crashed in friendly Iraq, a terrorist group has claimed responsibility, the War Department says it was an accident, this blog will go with the US line.  Thus both Sky News and CNN report that the US has lost 11  military service personnel also a French Soldier killed by a drone.    Thus far no UK Casualties, thank God. The War goes on.

Update: Both BBC News and Sky News confirm all 6 of the crew on the refuelling plane that crashed are dead.

US Natoonal Defence Strategy - Update

BBC News: Reports on the new US National Defence Strategy as published by the War Department.   In essence NATO and Asian Allies are up the Creek with No paddle.   It states South Korea can deal with North Korea, Taiwan does not get a mentioned, even after US sold billions in defence equipment to the Island.   This document is an isolation US view of the World.

Thus NATO Allies will have protect the Ukraine, Taiwan on the whole is by itself, even if the US law must protect the small Democrstic Island.  The paper will be a bigger shock to South Korea, this blog predicts predicts it will develop a nuclear bomb, it has too, North Korea is a nuclear armed State.   Trump is a menace to World security, let's hope the Democrats win big in November and push back on Trump.
