These 70 targeted strikes was due to attack on US forces in the region.  IS has been quiet of late, well the news has focused on the Ukraine.  Terrorism has to be removed as a tool that can be used, the Trump Administration is right to take strong action, also in Venezuela, terrorism and drugs are EVIL, those that take such actions need to be either jailed or as US has done KILLED.

The Kremlin is looking for anyway to blame the Ukraine for the terror attack, Putin needs a reason for further call ups.   Those arrested looked like they were beaten up or worse.  The Ukraine has denied any responsibility for the terror attack, in this they have been supported by the US.  One expects the Kremlin to create evidence that is not there, they want to increase the pressure on the Ukraine.   The US House should come back from its break and release funds for the Ukraine, any weakness by the WEST will be used by Putin's Russia. The Kremlin needs to accept that it was ISIS-k that developed and planned the attack, the Russian people are not complete fools, they should out on the streets in protest to Putin.

The West really has let down the women in Afghanistan, women will be banned from work and forced to stay at home, girls will not get an education, Western culture will be banned, the TV will have only Taliban PR.  One really hopes that the CIA, MI6, SAS, and US Special Forces ARE in Afghanistan to get Western citizens out and to help those that are putting up a resistance to the Taliban.  If YOU watch the 24/7 news networks they are back to covering for Biden, they can hardly say he is an idiot after they got him elected.  On the UK side we are back to domestic politics, thus Afghanistan will be filed as a lost cause, if worthy attempt to change Afghanistan, it failed in the end.

One hopes rather than thinks that MI6 and the CIA have agents on the ground in the Panjshir Valley to make sure that the resistance to the Taliban put up a fight and keep them with enough weapons and ammunition to keep going in till the winter.  In the winter the waring factions do not fight, its a hard winter in the Mountains of Afghanistan.  One can postulate that the CIA has request that they be allowed to support the Resistance, of course that depends of President Biden, with his action over the few weeks, one is NOT HOPEFULL, Biden does not understand national security and never will.  Anything that keeps the Taliban on edge is good, the West could increase support to the level that keeps the Taliban on their word when it comes to not supporting terrorists such as Al Qaeda or Daesh or the spin off ISIS-K.  As to the civil rights of women, this blog does not hold out much hope, the TALIBAN are EVIL, and their word cannot be trusted, they have already killed a folk singer and are doing house to house searches in search of those the worked with the Western Allies,  they have closed down music stations and broken up musical instruments, they have not changed.
