US calls for India and Pakistan to work together over tensions- Trump47

Guardian:  Reports in its 3.40pm post that Marco Rubio, the US Secretary of State has called on Pakistan and India to work together to decrease the tensions between the two.

Lets Get Real:

RUBIO is Secretary of State and interim National Security Advisor, and other job titles.  It seems for now that Trump trusts him to deal with the issue of Pakistan and India.  Rubio should fly to India and Pakistan and tell both sides to decrease the military tensions, its getting to risky, there is always the threat of nuclear war, both sides have Nukes.  EVEN a cricket ground has been hit by a drone, and both sides love  Cricket, enough is enough.

Western Intelligence on Russian Ukraine Estimates - Biden Era

Mail on Sunday: Reports " Western intelligence assessments believe Kyiv's government could fall within two days of an invasion and lead to a humanitarian crisis involving around 5million refugees and more than 50,000 civilian casualties.  "

Lets Get Real:

If this does not get the West, in this case the UK and the US to place troops in the Ukraine then nothing will, think of it 5 million refugees on the border between the Ukraine and the EU.  There will be constant news about the WAR at the heart of Europe, there will be CALLS for the West to take a side, also the BALTIC STATES will be asking for troops on their border in case Putin try's his luck there.  The Biden Oval after Afghanistan cannot show weakness, it has built some of that back by taking out the leader of Deash in Syria, but that will be forgotten with constant news of the deaths total in the Ukraine.  Also the US and the UK can be expect to support any insurgence in the Ukraine, that will annoy Putin and could lead to a WIDER WAR.  This is the time for leadership, that means taking a CHANCE, a GRAVE CHANCE, by placing US and UK troops in the Ukraine.

Thus it can be argued that the over the time of the Winter Olympics the Russian Armed Forces will be built up to the amount they need to invade the Ukraine.  The Russians have put so much effort in to the build up it is hard to see it being called off, the Russian demands over NATO and Eastern Europe have not been met and will not be met, the question is does Putin understand the economic sanctions that will come down on Russia, also the Russian people understand the consequences of such action, the West can bring the Russian economy to it knees, and how much support in Russia is there for a WAR with Ukraine, Russia and the Ukraine share many religious and culture ties, a failed war liked Afghanistan would be a disaster for Putin, could bring him down.  The Biden Oval after its own Afghanistan failure has a lot to lose, thus has to be TOUGH with Russia.  The Calm before the storm.

One presumes this is the Russians again, checking how the UK reacts, our boys of the RAF will escort them back to international airspace, the Russians are pushing their luck, it only need something like to go WRONG and the World is a world of hurt.  What if Russian MILITARY planes go over Poland or other Baltic States and something happens, the Kremlin should be careful the game it plays, the US ha already sent troops to Poland and Germany, and moved troops from Germany to Rumania.  One can expect not much action for a couple weeks, as Putin is going off to the Winter Games in China, those end on the 20th of this month, then it will be interesting to see what Putin does, is it WAR with the Ukraine or does Putin turn tail and send his troops back home.  The WEST as to be ahead of Putin, to check mate him.

Those that thought the Taliban had been reborn as Taliban2.0 have been shown to the WRONG, the Taliban are lying murdering bastards, who deserve the contempt of the West.  One hopes NONE of the Western powers accept Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan.  It can be postulated that the Taliban will allow various terror groups to come back to Afghanistan and train, from Al Qaeda to other Islamic terror groups.   The thought that the Taliban will really try to take on ISIS-K is for those who are naïve to think that Biden was right to leave Afghanistan.  Thus it can be postulated that the West will face an increase in terror threats, the Islamic terror groups will have the US leaving Kabul as an example of them winning.  In fact Afghanistan was given to the TALIBAN by POTUS, a weak and feckless President.

No 10 should be on the phone to POTUS, get him to cancel his Summit with Putin in till the Russians tell the truth about the last nerve agent attack in the UK.   The UK and the rest of the West should throw out more Russian Diplomats and their friends.  Russian money in the UK should come under FIRM investigation.   Let's make sure the money is clean and is not being washed in London. IF the Russian and England meet in the World Cup, should the Team Captain shake the hand of the Russian Captain?

It is shock that that US troops are being wounded and it does not make the head of the news, lets us be honest here, Iraq and Syria stories do not get people to watch the news or click news sites for stories, it seems to be going on forever, after Obama withdrew US troops from Iraq we saw the birth of Daesh, that meant after taking forces out of Iraq the 44th President has to put them back in, so the the Wars he wanted to finish did not finish with President Obama, they have taken up another format, with Iraqi troops mostly doing the fighting and getting killed, while US Special Forces help with the air attack on Daesh.  The press should push the Oval on what is it going to do about Iraq and Syria, he promised change, well it time to show change and not play golf.

The modern trend of POTUS playing Golf started with Ike, since then nearly every President has found reasons to Golf, some have been known to cheat, it gets them away from the White House.  Of course President Trump has his own Golf Course, so he does not need to go far from home.   IF the Democrats are down to using golf against Trump they are in a BAD STATE.  It can be argued that you need a relaxed President in charge of the Western World.   It has been a slow news day, Trump must have lost his cell for texting or it has been hidden, things are getting back to normal.

It could be another terror attack or someone has just left a suitcase, in these days it better to be cautious, terrorists should never be allowed to win, but the authorities main job is to protect the people, you can have football match another day.    This is one of the reasons that Daesh has to be destroyed, they cause this kind of panic, the Police have to take any report as a real threat, thus better for the Police to act than be wrong.

The surge in Conservative support folks is due to the fact that the Conservative Party has moved to the right, it is pushing through a Referendum vote on the EU for 2017, it is going after welfare, and lets be honest, the UK has had great success in sports, from the Lions winning in Rugby, the 1st British  Wimbledon Champion in over 70 years, the 1st Ashes Test won by England, and of course the SUN is out, one wonders when the rains are going to come.   Also the economy is not like the PIIGS nations, its not great but not in the toilet, thus folks the voter is giving the Conservatives a 2nd chance, lets see if they can gain more support, of course this poll could be a rogue poll, lets see others, also 2015 in election terms is a lifetime away folks.   There will be more rainy days ahead folks, lets see who gets washed away.

This blog tends never to agree with the liberal NYT, but the above Statement should be supported by those on the left and right, the cowardly terrorists can NOT be allowed to win, thus the marathon should go on next year, the London Marathon with increased security should be held on Sunday in the UK.   The very act for terrorism is meant to create terror, to make those that believe in Democracy question every day actions, thus this blog if it ran would run in the Boston Marathon, it calls on thousands who do run to consider running next year, lets show these terrorists that their actions will never defeat democracy and the right of people, no matter of age, colour or religion to enjoy the benefits of a liberal democracy.

Thus folks it can be expected that such States as New York will be on alert, the Boston Bombing at it essence was meant to create terror, a public holiday in Boston, families waiting at the finishing line to cheer on the runners,  the terrorists must have known and planned the attack to get GLOBAL attention, thus the UK Police will be on alert for the Thatcher funeral tomorrow, and the London Marathon on Sunday.    All those that support Democracy should not allow these terrorists cowards to change plans, that is what they want, after 7/7 in the UK the people got back on the Underground, the people of New York after 9/11 did not allow the terrorists to win, they rebuilt, they remember every year but they go on, in a way folks to misquote JFK we are Citizens of Boston today, we should run in fact and spirit for Democracy. 

Obama and the Gun Lobby

The point of Presidential leadership is to take a major political risk, LBJ kept civil rights on the Hill in till it was passed, even knowing that the Republicans would benefit in the long term, the article notes that Conservative Democrats are not going to support major gun reform as they would be finished back home, that was the argument that LBJ faced, but he knew how to get Congress to pass things that hurt, Obama is not that popular with Democrats, never mind Republicans, he thinks if he argues the case he can win people over, so far a majority of Americans still do not support ObamaCare, wait in till their taxes go up to pay for it, on this issue the Oval has to go 100% for gun control, only the military, police and sport men/women should have guns, and those that ranch.    There is no reason for the average man or woman on main street to have a gun, its a matter of public health, less people shot, less time Doctors have to deal with the issue, the same goes for the crime rate.   The liberals in the Democratic Party should force the Oval to 100% for massive and complete gun control, it will not be easy, it will be hard, and it will cost, but its the right thing to do, time for the Oval to lead. 

Syrian Update - Syrian Crisis

BBC News: Reports that two hundred thousand Syrians have left the Syrian City of Aleppo due to the fighting between the forces of the Assad Regime and the Free Syrian Army.

Thus the question that has to be asked, what is the West going to do folks, the answer is NOTHING. The Assad Regime would have to start using its WMD's on its own people before the West would take action, and lets be very honest here folks, the action would be taken not to save the Syrian people but to make sure that terrorists did not get their hands on such weapons or that the Syrian Regime gave these WMD's to terrorists in the region, this would be seen as a threat to Israel and thus either Israel or the US would have to act, the Assad Regime is a criminal regime, that does not make it stupid, one can presume that Russia and China have made it clear to Assad that if he uses chemical weapons he is on his own, thus the Syrian people will die while the West looks to the Olympics, that is the real world folks, sad but true.

CNN Politics/Money: Reports on the possible ideas that could be in President Obama’s speech for Thursday, 1, Government spending, 2 , tax breaks for business if they hire those out of work, 3, Extension of Welfare, unemployment benefits, 4, tax holiday to allow US business to bring profits home. If you’re the Republican Majority in the House you will say No to 1, Obama’s spending is the reason for the present mess, 3, At what point do you say NO to welfare spending, its time, the US is not a European Country. Also the for political reasons the Republicans will say no, 4, to a tax holiday, the more business is angry with Obama, the more money they will give to Republicans in 2012. In other words folks watch the build up to the start of American football, you will learn more and its more fun.

Obama and Cameron and BEER!

The UK PM David Cameron and President Obama had a phone discussion to discuss the various Foreign Policy problems on their desks, the White House readout of the talk is the following, " The President affirmed his deep commitment to the special and historic relationship between our two countries. ( Well then Mr President stop trashing a UK/US company BP ) The President thanked the Prime Minister for his commitment to lead on the broad range of issues on our shared agenda. ( Lets hope Mr Cameron smells the coffee and gets out before we are thrown out like Basra in Iraq ) They discussed the decision by the United Nations Security Council to impose the strongest sanctions to date on Iran and the importance of follow-on action being taken at the upcoming European Council meeting, and they underscored the need for Iran to live up to its international obligations. ( In other words they don't really have a real policy, its a PR stunt ) They also exchanged views on economic issues, including preparations for the G-8/G-20 meetings later this month. The President and the Prime Minister discussed the impact of tragic oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, reiterating that BP must do all it can to respond effectively to the situation. " On a lighter note both the PM and President had a bet on the result of the US - England Football game, " Finally, the President and the Prime Minister agreed to disagree on the desired outcome of the June 12 U.S.-England World Cup soccer match; the President noted that the historical record of previous World Cup matches between the United States and England favors the United States and the President wagered the best lager against the best beer in America on an American win over England. ". Thus the two leaders can both buy each other a pint. Nothing like a pint to bring lads together. As to the game my 13 year old dog with iffy legs would be a better goalkeeper for England and he is Welsh.

If Obama Aide would not take a out a hefty mortgage based on being in the White House for eight years, you could find that the Republicans take over the House in 2010 and and President Obama could lose 48 states in 2012. It like when sound came to the movies 1927, some voices in the long term didn't cut it, thus could this be the fate of Obama, loved then deserted in droves, guess he could be a warm act for Jimmy Carter.

Hollow President, Obama the WINDY Man!

The Times: Reports on the failure of President Obama to get the Olympics for his home town of Chicago, how this will have a negative effect on the Obama Presidency. Its American politics 101, a President does not go in to meeting without knowing how it will end, the Press Statement written up before a meeting. An American President does not at any cost want the appearance that his Presidency is hollow, that he is weak, at home he cant get his Agenda through the Congress, while abroad he is seen as another Jimmy Carter, not feared but seen as naive and weak. Thus my prediction that Obama will be a one term President, his he cant get beyond his own arrogance, quite sad really in some respects.
