The BBC and the Conservative Party - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

The BBC has to be watched, for it the objective view of something is to the left of Lenin.  The Conservative Party only seeks a fair review of the news, not some Guardian editorial view of the days events.   The BBC should be scaled back, there is no reason for the BBC to have a regional news, that could be done by ITV, also the BBC should take adverts in its most popular shows, also the BBC website should not cover regional events in the UK, as stated above ITV can do that area.    The BBC has gotten to big for its boots, needs to make its own shows pay, at the end of the day the BBC has to change, the taxpayer can no longer be expected to pay in this modern IT age.

The FUTURE for Labour - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

IT IS BAD FOR Labour, but it can return, it needs a new leader in the mold of Tony Blair, in other words a Conservative who happens to be Labour, this is not going to be easy, the old left and the trade unions are going to shout for a more left wing Party, if Labour voters go that way they will be out of power for a political generation, they have tried left wing theory with Ed Miliband, it did not work and was the wrong argument for the UK voter.    The Labour leadership fight should take a long time, find someone fresh not part of the Blair and Brown fight, also not part of the Miliband Shadow Cabinet.  Curious question, who are the new Shadow Chancellor and Shadow Foreign Secretary?   With Greece going bust and the threat of IS, the Labour Party needs a front bench or the Conservative Government will not face any opposition.

The Dark Prince Returns - Lord Mandelson - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

The Labour Party if it wants to win the 2020 General Election has to return to the Blair agenda, people want to be successful, they are not keen on people being on welfare forever, they want a Political Party to understand the REAL WORLD, understand the economy, how it really works, it wants a friendly government and business relationship, people want to buy their own homes.   The above is what people WANT,  the Ed Miliband agenda was what people should want if they really knew it, a left wing government in the hands of the Unions.   Time for Labour to get OVER IRAQ as stated in my previous post and get the old New Labour hands to run the Labour Party.

Ed Miliband was the reason for the DEFEAT - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

This blog does not believe in hitting someone when they are down, Ed Miliband has resigned as Labour Leader, his agenda was NOT the agenda of the UK voter, the Miliband Camp thought that the UK voter had gone left after the financial crash of 2008,  it might have done for a short time but with the economic recovery it went back to its usual position of centre right, and the thought of business bashing, welfare Labour Government was to much for the UK voter, thus the election of a majority Conservative Government for the first time since 1992.   It should have been a warning to this blog and to Labour that when the British people are nice to their political leaders ITS OVER, the voter in 1997 was nice to Sir John Major, a decent man who lost big to Tony Blair.    Thus Labour needs a long debate about its future, it needs to go back to the Blair agenda.

Labour and Scotland - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

They are quite ruthless in Scotland it seems, give Mr Murphy a chance to look at the election outcome and see if he is a net positive or negative to the Labour Party in Scotland.   This call for the head of Mr Murphy comes from the Labour left, to be specific the Trade Unions.   As for Scotland and the rest of the UK the Labour Party has to follow the advice of Tony Blair, it has to go back to the centre, even centre right.   The UK voter in general wants a Political party to see the REAL world, supports business not bash them, also be hard on welfare when it has to be, the Labour Party is now going through a leadership contest, they should go back to someone who can win elections, that of course being Tony Blair, the left has to get OVER IRAQ, it was major mistake, but its OVER, the Labour Party needs either Tony Blair or a candidate who follows the Blair agenda.

How Labour will STEAL the 2015 Election - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

This COUP by Labour would be a disaster for Labour, the Country would never forgive them if they tried to form a government of the losers.   There would be no political mandate, the left learning MPs in the House of Commons, that includes Labour MPs would want the NEW Labour Government to SPEND AND SPEND, the Country could be another Greece.   The most senior Labour leaders should make sure that this political COUP does not happen, the voter would not understand and when things went wrong, and things do go wrong, there would be no support for Ed Miliband.   It is time that Labour woke up and smelled the coffee.

Has Ed Miliband LOST the PLOT - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Well Ed Miliband and the Labour Party have LOST THE PLOT, it funny and does no favours for either Miliband or Labour.   The jokers on the Internet have already to mocked Miliband for thinking he is Moses.   Lets get very real here, Miliband has been accused of being weird, the idea of placing 8ft slab of limestone with the Labour Manifesto in No 10 shows how out of touch Labour are, the brain box who though up this idea should get the sack, it recalls when Labour in 2010 election asked on a poster if people wanted to go back to the 80s, with Cameron as a character from Life on Mars.   In fact the poster might have helped Cameron with the voters, Labour is not being honest, they will work with the SNP to get in to No 10, the problem for Labour is that they no longer know the difference between spin and reality, the limestone fiasco just shows how out of touch they are in the 2015 election.

The House of Commons Maths works for Labour - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Thus ALL Ed Miliband needs to do on Thursday is keep the Labour support at around 35% and he wins either way, as stated in previous post, the SNP and other left wing parties have nowhere to go, while the Conservatives have not managed to increase their poll margins.   Thus by the above and the maths of the election the Labour Party might be the Party with the 2nd number of Seats in the House of Commons, it will end up forming either a minority or majority government on Friday.   Thus we can expect that David Cameron will resign as Conservative leader, that will be a fun fight, the Labour Party will re-start the fight between those that supported Gordon Brown and those that see Blair as their best leader, and we will have knifedge votes in the House of Commons,

Labour 5% lead in the polls - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

IF this is the result on May 8th then Labour under Ed Miliband will have a very narrow majority government, as this poll is better than my projection it might be showing the way the UK voter wants to make sure that Labour does not need the SNP for support. OF course the usual statement, a poll is snap shot in time, thus either a minority Labour Government supported by the SNP or a very narrow Majority Government and with Ed Balls as Chancellor. As 1st pleb let me say to all the other plebs, if this poll is right you are fools, and why are you reading this blog.

The Leaders Special on Question Time - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Thus not bad viewing figures for a political show, it hardly threatens the top ten, it was fun and very different from previous shows, it was lively and those picked to watch and ask questions really went after those seeking their vote.   In a snap poll afterwards by the Guardian the winner was David Cameron the Prime Minister.  The Labour Party must be happy that there were no more viewers, Ed Miliband was  disaster, he showed how out of touch he is with the public when it comes to EU and the views on the last Labour Government.  This blog is still holding its projection, Labour minority Government supported one way or another by the SNP.   Ed Miliband has stated there will be no deals, there does not need to be one, the SNP have nowhere else to go, Labour holds the key to power.

The Economic Plans of the Political Parties - 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

No political party wants to scare the voters, thus you have the usual debate between the Conservative Party and the Labour Party, less spending or more spending,  the Conservatives stress the economy has come around under their watch, low inflation, low unemployment, cuts in welfare, while the Labour Party stress that the rich have gotten richer while those on the breadline have lost out with the coalition government.   In reality the voter has a choice do you trust a Political Party that has bought the economy back to pre 2008 levels or do you allow the Political Party that spent ALL the money a second chance. If your wise you will conservative, safe pair of hands, do you trust the two Eds of the Labour Party, if you do you are a fool and should not be reading this blog.  This blog is for those with a brain cell.

The THREAT of the SNP to the UK, Part 2 - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

As a ploy the placing the political target on Labour and SNP has worked, a good attack, never mind the merits, works if there is a sense of truth to the charge, thus the double talk out of Ed Miliband every time the issue of SNP and Scotland comes up, the Labour leadership understands that it only gets back in to power with the support of the SNP.   This would be an ironic development as Labour's Shadow Foreign Secretary and the leader of the Scottish Labour Party could lose their seats to the SNP.   How could Ed Miliband appoint Douglas Alexander to the FCO if he has lost his seat, of course if PM, Miliband could place Alexander in the House of Lords, thus he would get his Shadow Foreign Secretary back but it would not look good to the Scottish voters.   The last couple days has ALL been about the vote by vote deal between Labour and the SNP, the Labour Party should take the risk and state it will not govern as a Minority Government under the SNP supoppport.  Also if Labour is the second Party it would mean that it won less English and Welsh seats than the Conservative Party, it would be seen as a losers Government.   This again would not be good, as Sir John Major said this morning, the Labour Party would be at the beck and call of the SNP.   This would be a political disaster for the UK and the Labour Party in the long term, English voters would not be happy that they are being ruled from Scotland.

Conservatives 4% ahead of Labour - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

A second poll that has the Conservatives ahead, but the article notes the following,The changes are within the margin of error, suggesting that the parties’ national vote shares remain very close. ".  It can be argued that Ed Miliband should be able to get the Labour vote to around 33% to 35%, even if the Conservatives had a lead of about 1% to 2% the Labour Party should have more Seats in the House of Commons.   This blog when being subjective supports the Conservative Party, but in its objective mode it follows the polls, which way people are betting, and its guts instinct.   Of course it would be a nice surprise if on May8th the Conservative Party wins outright, but that does not look to be in the cards, the cards show a Labour victory with the support of the SNP.   They say we get the Government or anarchy we deserve.

Conservatives 4% Ahead of Labour - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

This must have caused a heart attack at the left wing Guardian.  They go to great lengths to rubbish this poll, one is almost shocked that they published the article, but then nothing that the left does should come as a surprise.    OF course this is just a snap shot, a  YouGov poll has Labour ahead by 36% to 33% for the Conservatives.     Which one is right will be seen over the next few days, there should be more polls, my Labour prediction is still holding up voter,

The ONLY way for Ed to become PM is through the SNP - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

This is the stark choice facing the UK voter, if your vote Labour or SNP you get two for the price of one, you have a weak PM leading a weak Labour government supported and ruled by the SNP.   THINK voter if Ed Miliband would stab his own brother in the back, what chance for you voter, can your trust Ed not to take the SNP deal as to get the keys of No 10. Thus  voter you have only once choice VOTE CONSERVATIVE, or face a return to the weak governments of the 1970s.

Labour 2% ahead of Conservatives - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

One can expect Labour to have a bigger bounce after tonight, as long as Ed Miliband does not fall over in the Opposition debate  he will be seen by the Country as the next PM, all the other Parties with be throwing their arrows at him, they want the Labour vote, as long as Labour keeps its seats  the North and Southern England it can be the majority Party after May 7th, 2015.

The SNP will control LABOUR - Vote Labour GET SNP-Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Thus voter if you vote Labour you get the Scottish SNP leading Labour by the nose, they will demand special polices for Scotland, that will cost the English, Welsh and the Irish.  How is it fair if Labour is rejected in Scotland, that Scottish SNP MPs can place the Labour Party in power in the London.   Thus if you want a fair government that looks to support the whole of the UK YOU must vote Conservative.   A Labour Party kept in power by the SNP could lead to the break up of the Union.  Thus do the right thing of May 7th, vote Conservative

Ed Balls and the SNP - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Whatever Ed Balls says the Labour Party will need SNP support to get into government, if Ed Miliband does not do a deal then David Cameron will remain as PM.   It will not be a formal deal, that would be to much for the Labour Party in Scotland and England, the deal will be vote by vote, the UK will  have crisis government for five years.    Lets recall Ed Miliband stabbed his own brother in the back, what is stop him doing that to English voters.
The question VOTERS is, do you trust Ed Miliband when it comes to the SNP.

Conservatives 6% ahead of Labour - Election 2015

Telegraph:  Reports " ..the survey by ICM for The Guardian newspaper put the Tories ahead on 39 per cent ahead of Labour on 33 per cent, the party’s highest lead for three years. "

Lets Get Real:

As with the Labour lead of six points last week, this is just a poll of a moment in time.   This does not change the prediction of this blog, of Labour win even a majority Labour Government.   The manifesto launch today was FULL of hot air, no real costings, just promises to tax rich, there are never enough rich people, the bringing back of the 50p rate for the rich could actually cost the Country money.   Also the non dom ban is not that clear as there will be exceptions, the Labour manifesto is what the elite at the BBC and Guardian would write, a lot of promises but no bill, it could be argued that Miliband is following the example of Greek left Government, promising what ever people want to hear and then breaking those promises once in power.

The Labour Manifesto - Election 2015

BBC News: Read the Labour Manifesto for 2015.

Lets Get Real:

Lets recall this is the Party that left the UK with no money, they say in the Labour Manifesto the following, " Our manifesto begins with the Budget Responsibility Lock we offer the British people. It is the basis for all our plans in this manifesto because it is by securing our national finances that we are able to secure the family finances of the working people of Britain. "  In other words the Party that stated there would no long be boom and bust wants to enforce that rule BY LAW, they do not even trust themsevles on the economy.   The Labour Manifesto is full of promises that would make the Guardian and the BBC feel a warm glow, what it does not say IS what it will do about welfare, immigration, all the real hard problems.    If your foolish then vote Labour, if you a have a brain cell left after this tedious election vote Conservative.   Labour always make a mess of the economy, its the gold rule of politics, are you that simple to trust them again!
