End the Labour Madness - Alan Johnson, Former Home Secretary

Lets Get Real:

The problem with Yvetter Cooper is that she is married to Ed Balls, the once right hand man for Gordon Brown, the Blair or virus section of the party might think they have gone down the Gordon Brown road with Ed Miliband and do not want to lose in 2020.   But on the other hand it would allow time for David Miliband to come back after a few years and take the Party in to the 2020 election, as a campaigner Ms Cooper does not impress and is too rigid in the House of Commons.  At least Ms Cooper is not CORBYN, and it would be up to her to show that Ed Balls is not pulling the strings from behiond the curtain or their front door.   If only Mr Johnson had wanted to be leader, he would have saved the Party a lot of stress over the last few weeks.

The Labour FAILURE in 2015 - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

Thank God the above crowd did not win the last election, it would have seen the return of the Blair and Brown years of warfare, the Labour Party has to get over New Labour period, yes they won three elections but the bad blood in Labour goes on.    A new leader needs to follow the agenda of Blair but also keep the Labour Party in the centre, its is difficult when in the Southern England the Labour Party was thrashed, and in Scotland the Labour Party now has only 1 MP, the same as the Liberal Democrats and the Conservatives, the Southern voters want a UK government to be tough on welfare while Scottish voters want to end to the era of austerity.   The Labour Party can only win power again when it works out how to have Scottish and Southern English voters voting for them, its not easy voter.

Ed Balls and the 2015 General Election - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

At least Mr Balls is taking the election result on the chin, unlike his former Leader who from reports thinks he lost the election because Labour voters were to lazy to come out and vote. This blog is being serious.   The Labour Party has to move to the right, it needs to be for people who are at work, yes it should care about those on the bottom of society but it should be a balance.   The idea of mansion taxes, attack on business and more welfare did not help the Labour Party, as this blogger found when talking to Conservative voters, the one theme they had was that the Conservative Party was for the working man ( generic sense ), somehow Labour has become about what the elite sees, that is not the country.   At least Mr Balls is not blaming the voter.

When you fail in politics you have NO Friends - Post 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

One minute your Labour leader, everyone follows your line, one lost election and you face attacks from everyone, even those in your Shadow Cabinet.   This blog had no time for Ed Miliband, it liked his brother David Miliband, the former Foreign Secretary. One does have to feel sorry for Red Ed, on Thursday night of May 7th he was writing his speech for after he won the election, then it was 10 o clock and the BBC projection.  It was only out by a bit, by the end the Conservatives had 331 seats and a majority government, and the political knifes came out for Ed Miliband, the Labour Party only kept 232 and lost Seats all around, Scotland being the biggest loss.   There is nothing worse that being a ex leader at so young an age, he will be the what if man of politics, the man who stabbed his brother in the back for nothing!!

Labour 5% lead in the polls - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

IF this is the result on May 8th then Labour under Ed Miliband will have a very narrow majority government, as this poll is better than my projection it might be showing the way the UK voter wants to make sure that Labour does not need the SNP for support. OF course the usual statement, a poll is snap shot in time, thus either a minority Labour Government supported by the SNP or a very narrow Majority Government and with Ed Balls as Chancellor. As 1st pleb let me say to all the other plebs, if this poll is right you are fools, and why are you reading this blog.

The SNP will control LABOUR - Vote Labour GET SNP-Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Thus voter if you vote Labour you get the Scottish SNP leading Labour by the nose, they will demand special polices for Scotland, that will cost the English, Welsh and the Irish.  How is it fair if Labour is rejected in Scotland, that Scottish SNP MPs can place the Labour Party in power in the London.   Thus if you want a fair government that looks to support the whole of the UK YOU must vote Conservative.   A Labour Party kept in power by the SNP could lead to the break up of the Union.  Thus do the right thing of May 7th, vote Conservative

Ed Balls and the SNP - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

Whatever Ed Balls says the Labour Party will need SNP support to get into government, if Ed Miliband does not do a deal then David Cameron will remain as PM.   It will not be a formal deal, that would be to much for the Labour Party in Scotland and England, the deal will be vote by vote, the UK will  have crisis government for five years.    Lets recall Ed Miliband stabbed his own brother in the back, what is stop him doing that to English voters.
The question VOTERS is, do you trust Ed Miliband when it comes to the SNP.

Miliband's fiasco over Non Doms - Election 2015

Lets Get Real:

The Ed Miliband speech was ALL political, it will get good press from the elite Guardian and BBC types.   It was shown that the speech was political due to the fact that the Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls stated in January that such a move would cost the UK in the long term.  The UK voter has to wake up, Ed Miliband will say any old rubbish to get the approval of the elite left wing.   Thus the policy that started this morning in a Miliband speech has had blowback, if Labour can not connect the dots while in Opposition what hope for them in government.   It was the Conservative Party that made the rules tougher, even the Liberal Democrats do not want to get rid of non - doms, bad policy and bad politics by Labour.  The BBC will love this kind of speech.

Is Labour DEAD in Scotland? - 2015 Election

Lets Get Real:

If Labour is to form the next government it will need the votes of the SNP, it can be postulated that Labour will be the biggest Party in the House of Commons, Ed Miliband has stated that only he and Ed Balls would write the budget, Ed is in Disney land if he thinks Ed Balls is going to let him near the budget.  Ed Miliband has stated that there will be no SNP MPs in his Cabinet, thus it will be an alliance of vote by vote, the SNP leadership has stated that it wants billions spent on Scotland, that Trident be abolished.   As Ed Miliband stabbed his brother in the back one can see Ed making big concessions to get to No 10.   The English voter will be run from Scotland and the SNP.    For the political geek the minority Labour Party needing SNP votes will be fun to watch, for the UK, it will be five years of misery and Ed Miliband as PM and his Chancellor, Ed Balls fighting each other for the soul of Labour.

The Blair and Brown WARS Part 2 - Labour Wars

Telegraph: Reports more on the release of Downing Street emails from 2006 that cover the Brown Coup attempt against PM Blair, the articles the notes the following, " One email suggests that Mr Brown told Mr Blair that he should resign because the public “hate him”. ".

Lets Get Real:

The McBride memoir and the release of these emails will lead the former Blair and Brown supporters to fight the old fights, well lets hope they do, that is fun, having to listen to Ed Miliband do a speech is bad, at least this is TRUTH about the dirty side of politics, not something they teach if you want to go to politics.  But to fair to Gordon Brown, he did have one hell of a wait, it would drive any normal man a bit crazy, he had spent his entire political life wanting to be PM, and then to see the Crown take by his one time friend Tony Blair, and then the long wait and the view that Blair had broken his promises to go at different times.   What this blog fails to understand is that by 2006 the Brown Camp had WON, the Iraq War, the mess that was developing in Afghanistan, the support of Blair for Israel and Bush 43 had cut him lose from the Labour Party and to the Country to be honest, the Brown Camp could have waited, why rush, Blair was a spent force in many respects, the Coup attempt pushed Blair out but hurt Brown more, with the Party and Country.  One can say that PM Blair should have sacked Brown years before, if he had he might be still in 10 Downing Street.

Brown's Hatched Man - Labour Wars

Lets Get Real:

Thus the question that must be asked of the Labour Leader Ed Miliband and his Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls, did they know that Mr McBride was doing the dirty work for Gordon Brown when he was Chancellor and later PM, have they have done knifed their colleagues in the past, since Balls was Brown's right hand man, he must come out with humble answer, not me guv does cut it folks.   The Labour Party has the great ability to fight political back alley knife fights, no matter who gets hurt.   Is Ed Miliband really a new leader, if so we must have the 100% truth about his time with Brown, and since he is on the same page as Assad of Syria, the total truth, not his PR view of the world.  In his fight with his brother David did the Ed Miliband team use any dirty tricks, better it comes out now folks, good for the soul folks, and great political viewing.

The Blair and Brown WAR for Labour - Labour History

Guardian: Reports on the trench warfare of the Blair vs. Brown fight for the Labour Crown, the article notes the following, " Rows, abuse, threats: leaked emails reveal real story inside Blair's bunker....the messages that show how the PM's team fought in vain to prevent Brown's coup ".

Lets Get Real:

Folks you would think that this would be old political history, but since Ed Miliband and Ed Balls came from the Brown Camp and were seen at one time as being close to the former PM and Chancellor it is never that far in the past.    The New Labour platform of Tony Blair died when he left office in 2007, his successor Gordon Brown in many respects was the Labour's Edward Heath, a man unfit for the job he had wanted for ten years.     The fact  that a book is coming out just before the Labour Party Conference well not go down well with the Labour hight command, Ed Miliband is seen as a weak Leader, even Labour voters do not see him a future PM.   This year's conference is vital for Ed Miliband, he really has to make sure he has the Party behind him, a poll this blogger saw yesterday saw Labour and the Conservative Party neck and neck, in the same period under Tony Blair the Party had a double digit lead, thus folks, tense weeks and months ahead for Brother/Country back stabbing Ed Miliband.

Ed Miliband vs. Ed Balls - Labour Divisions

Telegraph: Reports on policy clash between the Labour Leader Ed Miliband and the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer Ed Balls, the article notes the following on the Ball's negatives , " ..not always consulted the party leader before making key announcements. He is understood not to discuss his future plans in shadow Cabinet meetings. ".

Lets Get Real:

This brings back the good memories of the Blair/Brown feud between 1997 - 2010, if Ed Miliband becomes PM will he as Blair had to to, send spies around to the Chancellors office to see what is in the Budget. One has to say the BALL's has learned his lessons well from MASTER, Gordon Brown, one would think Brown would be proud of him, but for the fact that BALL's has dished his former MASTER. One has to ask who is leaking this, of course it comes from the office of the leader, as in the good old days you have two different Courts that slag each other off, one has to wonder without the firm grip of the old New Labour machine can these splits be held in till 2015. Is power more important to Labour, or being a big fish in small bowl, interesting times ahead folks.

Economic Collapse Labour's Fault - Blair

Telegraph: Reports that former Labour PM Tony Blair has stated in an interview that the Labour Party has some responsibility for the present economic woes faced by the UK.

Lets Get Real:

This will not go down well with the present Labour Leader Ed Miliband, as at the time he worked for the then Chancellor, Gordon Brown. The Brown Camp will see this another attack on their man, the endless feud between the two. While the Conservatives and the Liberal Democrats will love the comment, at least to be fair to Mr Blair he put his hand up to mistakes, this blog is still waiting to hear the Shadow Chancellor Ed Balls state that he has any flaws to explain for the period. The Labour Party to this day has not said SORRY for its failures under Blair and Brown, they will only win in 2015 when they accept that they failed with the economy, thus the present economic recession faced by the UK, the Labour Party spent when there was no more money in the bank, but this is not new, when the waters get tough the Labour Party are nowhere to be found, thus the National Government of the 1930s.

UK Unemployment Falls

BBC News: Reports on a drop in UK Unemployment, last month thirty five thousand people left the Unemployment roll. Thus the UK rate fell from 8.4% to 8.3%. This is good news for the Coalition Government and will take the wind out of Labour, one could see the effect it had on the Guardian BBC News readers, by their tone, which was negative you would think we had become another Greece. One wonders if the rate of Unemployment had gone up if they would have been more cheery, lets face it the BBC, Guardian, Daily Mirror are no friends of the Coalition Government, they are left and see things only from a left point of view, that’s life folks.

Chancellor's Speech in FULL - Text

Guardian: Read the full Budget Speech by Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. Click HERE. Make up your own minds folks. A wasted brain is a crime.

Tax Free Allowance - Benefit

Telegraph: Reports that the tax free allowance is to raise to 9,205, this means that people have to reach this level before they pay tax, this will benefit from the report twenty four million people. This is a good news day for the Liberal Democrats, this is one of their main polices, the aim is to get the level to ten thousand, it should reach that by the end of the Parliament. Lets see the Labour Party attack this policy. In his response the Labour Leader Ed Miliband went for the class warfare attack, thus the scrapping of the 50p rate, he is following the Obama play book, difference Obama has an election in 2012, Mr Milliband has to wait in till 2015, events, events can change the political ground, what might work now might not work in a few years time.

50p Tax Rate - Scrapped

BBC News: Reports that the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne has scrapped the high rate tax rate of 50p, the new rate will be 45p in the pound from 2013. This is good news from the Coalition Government, the 50p rate showed that the UK was not interested in business expansion. The Conservatives managed to get this through the Coalition by only taxing people if they start to earn more that nine thousand a year, the Liberal Democrats target is ten thousand pounds a year. Also to put the Labour Party on the back foot the Chancellor announced that that properties that cost millions will get taxed more, thus keeping the Liberal Democrats happy. As with all Budgets its in the details folks, lets see what comes out over the next few days, the budgets of Gordon Brown looked good at first, but less so after the experts had a look at the details published by the UK Treasury.

Lib Dems and 50p Tax Rate

Guardian: Reports on the unrest within the Lib Dems over plans by the Coalition Government to scarp the 50p tax rate, the article states the following on the Lib Dem Leader Nick Clegg, “ …MPs, peers and grassroots activists accuse him of caving in to the Tories and failing to stand up for low earners. ”. This is typical of the left wing Liberal Democrats, they have never really accepted the Coalition Government, they don’t live in the real world of politics, Mr Clegg should roll over them, tell them to join the Labour Party if they are so opposed to these reforms. It can be argued that Mr Clegg is trying to make the Liberal Democrats a real political party for the future, he should tell these sandal wearing, long, hair, pot growing left wingers to take a running jump over the next cliff and SHUT UP.

The Coalition Government and 50p Tax Rate

Telegraph: Reports that the Liberal Democrats have dropped their objection to the scrapping of the 50p tax rate for the rich. It is argued in the article the by some Conservatives that it would be a political mistake to scrap this as it would give the Labour Party a opening to attack the Coalition as the Party of the rich, this is an interesting argument if wrong, the Conservative Party if anything is about allowing people to get rich, the Old One Nation Conservative went the way of the dodo in the 1980s. Thus the Conservatives should take this chance, cut tax, show that the UK is open for business, that we want people to get wealthy, thus create jobs, thus more tax revenue. CUT AND CUT FOLKS.
