Lord Peter Mandelson, the Dark Prince has been a disaster for Sir Keir Starmer and the Labour Government, his unsavory, a friendship with sexual trafficker has shown how much a disaster was the choice to make him the UK's Ambassador to the US.  The release of his contacts with the Labour Government Ministers, has shown a low opinion of the PM and shown that Labour just wants to tax people to pay for welfare.  This means to hell with the working class, once the bedrock of Labour.  The UK needs a General Election and fast, it won't happen as Labour MP's know their careers would come to an end.  Who can save Labour NOW, will it be Andy or Wes, we shall see after the by election in Makerfield on June 18th.

Sir Keir Starmer will not resign - Update

Let's Get Real:

It seems that Sir Keir Starmer has saved himself for today, unless we see Cabinet resignations, if not its political cowardice of the first order.  Thus the phyco drama about the Labour leadership will go on, in till more of Mandelson files are released.

Update: The BBC News reports the following in its 6.24pm post:  The Health Secretary will see the PM tomorrow morning, will he deliver the gun and brandy.  If not then Starmer will go on, in till there is another scandal.  The futures of the Health Secretary, Home Secretary and finally the Foreign Secretary look Bleak if they do not act, a Starmer reshuffle could see them sacked.  As the old saying goes, if you go after the King you better despatch him or his revenge will be mighty.

The process of vetting Lord Mandelson was not complete, he did not pass vetting.  The final push came from the FCO, one presumes under the orders from No 10.  Sir Keir should go, but knowing him he will find someone else to blame, plus we need him for the Ukraine.

This always goes back to the Judgement of Sir Keir Starmer, about 15 U turns in Government, getting the wrath of POTUS.  One assumes Candidates to replace him are waiting for the May Elections when Labour is expected to have disastrous night, what if that does not happen, people supporting PM on Iran, can't be bothered to vote, a great PM stated when asked by a junior Minister what could go wrong, EVENTS, EVENTS, boy EVENTS, some times you have to act even if everything is not perfect, these candidates should stand now for the Labout leadership, if they don't history might pass them by.  As for Lord Mandelson he will be back, you don't get the title of Dark Prince for nothing.

Let's Get Real:

This is a shock, this blog thought the Mandelson  case had gone quiet.  It was just a matter of time, it is reported that former PM, Gordon Brown is furious with Mandelson, he made the Dark Prince his Deputy after all, did the security services check him out at the time.  Have noticed Tony Blair has been very quiet about Mandelson, he was his friend, bought him back to government after he was forced to resign.  ONE does question the judgement of Blair, Brown and Starmer, the present PM.  The cases of Mounbatten- Windsor( Australia has agreed to drop Andrew from the line of succession to the Crown ) and Mandelson will take a long time, both arrested on the same charge.

Update: Lord Mandelson was released last night on bail.  There were no remarks from the disgraced Peer.  This is a surprise, New Labour was all about spin! 

The Fate of Sir Keir Starmer - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 2.44pm post that the Cabinet has come out to support Sir Keir Starmer over the Epstein files and Peter Mandelson.

Let's Get Real:

If Labour was to get rid of Sir Keir it would be a political of mistake, he is the only one that this blog trusts with the Ukraine.  IN pure politics none of the candidates put their heads above the trenches, one because of her tax affairs and the other is seen as to close to Peter Mandelson, they showed no backbone and balls of steel, you need both to become PM, events boy events, remarks by a great Conservative PM when asked what could go wrong by a junior Minister ( they were mostly men, back in the day ) Thus Sir Keir will survive for now, but he is the Titanic taking on water, the Labour MPs will wait for a crucial by election in a few weeks time before taking action, gutless fools.

The King to help Police over allegations against former Prince Andrew - Update

BBC News: Reports that the King is very concerned about the allegations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Prince Andrew, over his role as a Trade Envoy, and will help the Police with its enquiries.

Let's Get Real: 

Andrew has disgraced his family and humiliated the Country, the Royal Family has stripped Andrew of his titles, sent him siberia on the Sandringham Estate.  ONE does think Andrew should do the decent thing and go in to abroad for life.   At the least the King acted unlike the Labour Party who have an unpopular PM, they can't even get a coup right, the Conservatives are more ruthless, overly so it can be argued.  GOD SAVE THE KING.

Clintons to face Contempt of Congress Charge - Update

CNN: Reports that the Clinton face being held in Contempt of Congress if they do not give evidence in the Epstein scandal.

Lets Get Real:

The Clintons wanted special treatment, he is a former impeached President after all, and she is a former Secretary of State.  They wanted limit the time they could be interviewed and wanted their own staff in the room to record the conversation.  What do Bill and Hillary have to hide, he has admitted his post office memoirs that he took  Epstein private plane to charity events.  The former President did not admit that he was in the swimming pool, or that he was given a message at an airport.  Whatever does Hillary have to hide, that is the most interesting, she was the Democratic Presidential Nominee in 2016, did her campaign have links with Epstein, its a fair question to ask.   The Clintons must get over themselves, they are like any body else, as we have seen the UK, the scandal has bought down a Prince of the realm and the UK Ambassador to the US.  On this side the of the pond the story is on going, and is being covered by all the Media.

Update: Sky News reports in its 11.41pm post that Bill and Hillary have agreed to being interviewed by the House Committee.  Thus saving them from a Contempt of Congress charge.

The departure of Lord Mandelson will not change plans.   The media in the UK is all over the story, this blog sees no need to add to it, just be careful who your friends are.   Mandelson has been in and out of power more times than this blog has had a very healthy meal, he always comes back!! This time he might have cancelled himself for good.

Labour's Northern Mistake - Post 2015 Election

Thus Labour has a major problem in Scotland were it has almost been wiped out, it needs to get Southern Seats as to form a Government and it is allowing the Conservatives to steal a march on them in the North.    One has to ask can Labour even be saved, without Scotland there is no majority Labour Government, but once Labour heartland is now SNP heartland.   The Labour Party has to build up from the ground, it has to learn what really moves Scottish voters, they voted to stay part of the UK, thus they must be open to Union Parties, such as Labour, what do Scottish voters want to hear and how can that be squared with the North and Southern England.    This is a major electoral operation, and we have the Scottish elections next year, Labour does not have long to develop a new political strategy.

The Labour Party if it wants to win the 2020 General Election has to return to the Blair agenda, people want to be successful, they are not keen on people being on welfare forever, they want a Political Party to understand the REAL WORLD, understand the economy, how it really works, it wants a friendly government and business relationship, people want to buy their own homes.   The above is what people WANT,  the Ed Miliband agenda was what people should want if they really knew it, a left wing government in the hands of the Unions.   Time for Labour to get OVER IRAQ as stated in my previous post and get the old New Labour hands to run the Labour Party.
