Let's Get Real:

This is a shock, this blog thought the Mandelson  case had gone quiet.  It was just a matter of time, it is reported that former PM, Gordon Brown is furious with Mandelson, he made the Dark Prince his Deputy after all, did the security services check him out at the time.  Have noticed Tony Blair has been very quiet about Mandelson, he was his friend, bought him back to government after he was forced to resign.  ONE does question the judgement of Blair, Brown and Starmer, the present PM.  The cases of Mounbatten- Windsor( Australia has agreed to drop Andrew from the line of succession to the Crown ) and Mandelson will take a long time, both arrested on the same charge.

Update: Lord Mandelson was released last night on bail.  There were no remarks from the disgraced Peer.  This is a surprise, New Labour was all about spin! 

The Latest Sanctions on Russia - Ukraine - Russian War - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

The point of this move by the EU and other Western hemisphere powers is to curb the amount of money that Russia gets for its oil and restrict its actions in the Ukraine.  A total ban on Russia oil would be to risky for the West, as it is now, Putin can pull the plug anytime he wants, and one expects this kind of move in the WINTER should it be bad.  It is reported that the this WINTER will be mild, one never knows with British weather ( this blog went through three phases on a bus trip, rain, snow and the sun at the end ) thus one can hope, but the UK Government should make sure that the UK  and the West has enough reserve oil for the winter should it be rough.  A harsh winter in the Ukraine should lead to a WAR of ATTRITION between the Ukraine and Russia, the Ukraine and Russian trenches remid one of World War 1, one can only hope that the WAR does not escalate into WW3.

Lets Gets Real:

North Korea us upping its escalation, as noted North Korea has launched 23 missiles today.  The South Korea reaction was justified, but within limits, the next time it might be not that simple, what if Pyongyang accidental in purpose a missile that hits a South Korea City or other mainland areas in the South, just to TEST the new Government and to see how the Biden Oval reacts.  The North Korean Regime wants something, the question is what, the Biden Oval tried to start talks with North Korea, thus far no reaction from the North.  One can postulate that North Korea will test one of its nuclear missiles, how will President Biden react to that, he also face the CRISIS in the Ukraine.  Well President Biden wanted the job, this what happen when you are the leader of the West.  One does hope the Army is on ALERT in South Korea. 

POTUS on Taiwan Defence - Biden Era

What part of ambiguity does POTUS not understand, the Chinese Government should be kept off keel when it comes to Taiwan, it should not know what the US would do if it attacked Taiwan, this ambiguity has been US policy for YEARS, anything different causes tensions, we have had that already with the Aukus Security deal, China sees that as a threat by the fact that the UK and the US will give Australia nuclear subs.  As the article notes the White House had to walk back the remarks by the President, not for the first time.  One would think that this breaking news would be the LEAD on CNN, but no its kissing the backside of Biden Oval, saying what LIBERALS want to hear when it comes to filibuster, Biden has no power to anything in the Senate without 50 votes and the two holdouts so far have stated they want to keep the filibuster as is.  CNN is really going like the old Soviet Pravda, I think they were more critical of the Soviet Government, CNN really has to re - learn its a NEWS Channel, not a outlet for LIBERAL dreams. 

Biden on Afghanistan at the UN - Biden Era

BBC News: Reports on President Biden's speech to the UN, " The president also touted the pullout from Afghanistan, which has been criticised by allies at home and abroad, saying the US was ending a "period of relentless war" for a "new era of relentless diplomacy".  "

Lets Get Real:

In essence POTUS is Trump without the arguments and the tweets, there was no regret by Biden on Afghanistan, the fact that there are still Americans and UK citizens still in Afghanistan and can not get out, what if the Taliban take them hostages as to get access to the frozen assets of the previous government.  The liberal media has let Biden off, if it was TRUMP, we would be getting Afghanistan every day, on CNN every hour.  CNN has not weaned it self off Trump just yet, it is still going after Trump, there viewers must be really liberal and addicted to Trump.  Also Biden has shown his true side, he talks of a new era in relentless diplomacy, in other words he is going to appease IRAN, and do nothing really about China, the Aukus Defence Pact is a smokescreen for Biden to do nothing, really he has no choice, the Chinese Government is the banker of the US, it holds trillions of US debt, and can not afford a WAR between the two super powers.

Paris has thrown a fit, one can assume that it down to losing a billion dollar contract and not being asked to join in the first place, the French Foreign Minister compared Biden to DONALD TRUMP, they have really got their knickers in to a twist, well that is the French, at the least the UK did not sink their fleet as Churchill had to do in 1940 to avoid the Germans getting their hands on them, the French still peeved at that, this just adds to their anger.  They will get over it, it not liked the French are trusted by the World, they would have done the same thing to the UK, just we got there first.  The Defence Pact is aimed at China, they are going to become a threat, they have built their navy and are making claims on Taiwan. ONE doubts that China will invade Taiwan, the damage would be to great and it would bring in the US and now UK if the region goes hot.  The Biden Oval should invite the French President over, and with the agreement of the other two nations, ask France to join the defence pact, one doubts they will say no.

China ANGRY, France peeved - A Good Day - Aukus Defence Pact

Lets Get Real:

This is an interesting move by the UK, US and Australia, these allies can now counter China in the Indo - Pacific and make sure that China is prevented in taking more of the South China Sea under its DOMAIN.  This shows why POTUS wanted out of Afghanistan, while the Chinese have investments in the resources of Afghanistan.  The question is will this push China to try and take over Taiwan, if it did would lead to a regional WAR and WAR with the US, would the Chinese think that Biden does not have the guts to defend Taiwan after Afghanistan, the Chinese Regime might be miss reading the political situation  in the US, Biden would have to defend Taiwan after the failure of his Afghan policy, otherwise he would risk losing the  House and Senate in 2022 and the Oval in 2024.   Of course China might be thinking long term, wait out the US as the Taliban did, one never knows in International Politics.  Everything is political even in China.

As expected the farming body's are worried that Oz farming products will be sold here, at  cheaper prices and in volume, thus cutting the earnings of British farmers.  This is SIMPLE, change always comes, before the EU, the UK and Australia had a strong trading link, let's be honest we send out convicts out there, and later people have emigrated to Oz, because of the weather and the beaches.  Neighbours has a lot to answer for!! The UK has left the EU because it allows us to control OUR destiny, thus we should be opening talks with all the Commonwealth Countries and those in the Americas.  It is about the UK looking forward NOT BACK.   So lets have MORE deals and as quick as possible.

The problem is that the Australian Government does not understand the nature of the World Wide Web, its about people connecting each other through the web and the stories they highlight on the web.  The Oz Government is asking Facebook to pay for the links of others, why should they, if the Government wants to make money for the OLD NEWS, then it should charge the customers for making these links.  Of course if they did that they would be politically speaking DEAD IN THE WATER, the readers or viewers, do not see why they should pay for linking stories from the old press in to the modern platforms like Facebook.  Why should Facebook PAY when it is helping its customers, the Oz Government is showing that it is out of its DEPTH, one wonders if the Governor General acting on behalf of the Queen should sack the Government.

UK/EU Trade talks are OVER - No 10- Part 2 - Brexit Update 2 - Australian Rules

At first the REMAIN press, BBC News and Sky News did not seem to take the words from the PM as being serious, that is why 10 Downing Street has to stress the point, the Establishment press is pure REMAIN and as stated by this blog, seem to have been house trained by the EU ( it might be in the interest of BBC News and Sky News remind its reporters that they work for a BRITISH NEW CHANNEL, not some outlet of the EU.  There are reports of a new news channel coming, one does hope it is less REMAIN than the present channels.  Thus 10 Downing Street has been as clear as crystal, in less the EU changes its ways, do not bother coming to London, even if they do, make clear the talks will discuss only, AVATION and SOCIAL SECURITY for those UK subjects who live in the EU and for those that wish to travel to the EU ( God knows WHY! ) A great day for the UK.

Pakistan Update Part 2 - War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

This is the time to call on Pakistan to be really be in the fight against terrorism, having it both ways leads to this on going tragedy in Pakistan, the more the Government tries to control Afghanistan through the use of terror networks, the more chance of blowback, the Government should request that the US uses its drones and US Special Forces to take the fight to the terrorists in Pakistan.  A stable Pakistan is in the interest of everyone, a State that is barely holding on is a threat to ALL.  That includes India.    The Army of Pakistan should stop thinking that India is the threat, it is not, the real threat is internal.  Just think if Taliban of Pakistan got control of a nuclear missile, then really start to worry.

As this blog stated in its last post, the threat is never ending in the War on Terror, the Taliban of Pakistan is a real threat to the secular Government of Pakistan.   The Government and its intelligence agencies have to get around the fact that they can not manage the terrorists is their never ending fight for control of Afghanistan and Pakistan.    Thus we have seen from Canada to Australia there is a constant threat from lone wolfs to a planned terrorist attack.    The Obama Oval should offer to do what ever it takes to wipe out the Taliban of Pakistan, a nuclear armed Pakistan under the rule of the Taliban would be any ones worst nightmare.

This siege in Sydney shows that the War on Terror can happen anywhere, thus the Police in any Country has to be on guard against a lone wolf attack or a attack planned by Al Qaeda or IS.   The recent release of the US Senate Report shows that some think that the War on Terror is OVER, it is not and will not be for a very long time.   There is the constant threat from IS, Al Qaeda to Western States.   Also we see in Afghanistan the rise of a new Taliban that is aiming for a PR victory over the West. IF that is not bad enough we have the Taliban in Pakistan, the West can not afford for this nuclear power to fall in to the hands of terrorists.  The War on Terror is endless.

If the our close cousins the Australians go we of the UK have to be ready to support them, God knows what kind of trouble the Australians might get in to, there is an active War going on between Russian rebels and the Kiev Government, the Russians are sending heavy equipment over, also they are hitting the Ukraine from Russian soil.   Also since the Netherlands are in NATO, we have to support them, IF WE GO, the US goes, it does not matter what Obama likes or wants, he has to support his close allies, he cant backstab Israel, the UK and its Western allies.   Time for action from the US.
