The BIDEN withdraw from Afghanistan has show how WEAK Biden really is, it only needs for Iran or North Korea to push the thin door open to show that Biden is a empty suit and who will not defend US security.  Let's recall when President Obama gave the order to kill OBL, one of those that opposed the move was Biden as Vice President.   As Robert Gates noted in his memoirs, Biden has not been right about national security in four decades, he has LEARNED NOTHING and will HARM US security.  Think Jimmy Carter but worse.  By 2024 the US voter will want a strong Republican who can take Biden on, he can not hide in his home like he did in 2020, he will have to campaign, let's recall he will be REALLY OLD THEN. O for the days of the Gipper.  President Putin of Russia will eat Biden for breakfast.

Putin is not afraid of Biden, he sees Biden for what he is, a empty suit who thinks he right, case example, Afghanistan, nearly everyone with a BRAIN thinks he is WRONG, and when Kabul falls to the Taliban and the executions start it will all be down to Biden out of control ego.  If Biden had been in charge when OBL was found he would be still alive and a threat to the United States, history has a karma, ego gets punished, one way or another.   In simple terms Biden is another Jimmy Carter Mark 2, and FDR who was his hero, allowed the USSR to seize half of Easter Europe after World War 2.  Thus in two terms, the US has had TWO BAD Presidents, Trump was MAD, while Biden has never been right on foreign policy, and will let down to the US.  Alexei Navalny want back to Russia, he knew that he would be arrested,  is he trying to make himself a martyr and thus undermine Putin, lets recall that Tsar Nicholas 11 was undermined by the shootings outside the Royal Residence in St Petersburg at the start of the 20th Century.

In real politics and in the defence of US national security it can be argued that the US if it wants a WAR with Iran should do it before Iran gets the bomb, the trouble that North Korea makes and how limited the US reaction shows what happens when the opposition has the bomb.  Of course POTUS has been impeached, does he want that to be the only achievement of his time in Office, IF he serves one or two terms as President.   Bush 43 took the leader of Iraq down, Obama did the same with Libya through the use of air power ( showed that Reagan was right the first time ) and the death of UBL.   While Trump has been to seen to appease North Korea and Russia and gun shy when it comes to Iran. It of course should be noted that POTUS ordered the mission that killed the leader of Daesh, that was a brave decision and very Presidential.   One way to record a win when it comes to foreign policy would be to take down the Regime in Iran, the people of IRAN would be happy, the left can no say much. So is Trump another Reagan or Jimmy Carter?   Thus far this blog is far than impressed with Trump when it comes to foreign policy, American voters like and support strong leaders!

It would not be a great surprise if North Korea tested another nuclear bomb or tried another ICBM test, sending a missile over US Guam.   The North Koreans have been playing Trump since he came in to the Oval Office.  They have gotten good PR for the Summit's between Trump and the North Korean Leader.   Of late Kim Jong Un has been to Russia, it can be postulated that he is playing the US vs. Russia and hoping to get better concessions out of the Trump Oval.  President Trump can not allow himself to be played again, he faces a tough election fight in 2020, he does not want Biden to state that he is WEAK on national security when Biden himself is a 100% WEAK on national security.  While VP to President Obama, he opposed the troops surge to Afghanistan, and according to Robert Gates he undercut the policy at every change he got.  Also he was opposed to going after OBL in Pakistan.  BIDEN IS WEAK ON NATIONAL SECURITY, the Trump Oval should play on that, it is an easy win if Trump can keep to the economy and national security as his talking points.

In 1984 Walter Mondale's campaign manager asked WHERE IS THE BEEF when it came to Senator Gary Hart, the same question could be asked for Beto O' Rourke, ( Just Beto henceforth ) he has only served three terms in the US House of Representatives and has a failed Senate run Texas, his home State.  In other words he is a LOSER, but because of his goods looks and running a good campaign in Texas he is seen as another Bill Clinton or Barack Obama, winners for the record.   Beto was interviewed on Meet the Press on Sunday, he struggled on the record of the Obama Administration, he noted ObamaCare, but when it came to Foreign he was lost for words nearly, he mentioned IRAN but did not mention that President Obama gave the okay to take out OBL in his Pakistan House.  This move was supported by HRC but not VP Biden, he was worried about the political ramifications.  President Obama might feel miffed to say the least, Beto stated that Obama had small victories on foreign policy, hardly a ringing endorsement!!  Thus expect Obama to support Biden, if not a full endorsement then stating what the Obama Administration achieved when it it was in power.  Beto is seen as the NEW REAGAN, he is NOT, the Gipper was President of the Screen Actors Guild, hardly a non pressure job, he was also Governor of California for 8 years, ran against President Ford in 1976, and came with a hundred votes of being the nominee and won in 1980.  Beto does not have that kind of record, he has moved to the middle, he knows that a left wing firebrand will not win the fly over States, thus he is thinking LONG TERM and the general election. There are 18 months to go folks, it's going to be a LONG ROAD, as the poet Robert Frost stated in his poem, and this blog is miss quoting badly,  the candidates have miles to go before they have a good night sleep, the cold of Iowa and NH, always travelling, the polls, the polls, the debates, YES folks 2020 has STARTED FOR REAL.

Lets Get Real: 

These two issues are weak spots for the Oval, the report yesterday in the liberal New York Times that Iran had agreed to one to one talks about its nuclear plans without Israel being informed will allow Romney to paint Obama as a appeaser, while on Libya the destruction of the US Consulate and its aftermath will open the President to the allegation that he was playing politics with the issue, that he did not want to really state that the attack was a planned terrorist attack because it would undermine his argument that Al Qaeda was dead after this approval of the mission that killed OBL.   This is a chance for Governor Romney to show his Presidential ability when it comes to the World Stage.  One would expect that POTUS should win, he should have the info to rebuke Romney.   Lets see who wins the debate folks, and by how much, prediction, a close battle, with Obama winning on points. 

The CIA strikes BACK on Oval - 2012 Election

Thus we have the mess that is Libyagate, in D.C its not the scandal that kills you but the cover up, the Obama Administration made great play at the DNC that it had killed OBL.   Then on 9/11 a franchise of Al Qaeda put that message at risk with the destruction of the US Consulate in Libya, after that the Obama Administration was all over the place, days after the attacks the US UN Ambassador on the US Sunday talk shows was stating that the deaths were down to a vile video.  Only in the past few days has Hillary Clinton taken the heat for the Oval.   Then after that didn't work the Oval placed blame on the CIA.  NEVER A GOOD IDEA, they can hit back hard, thus the above story.   Thus when did the President know IT was a terrorist attack and when did he decide it was a threat to to his re-election.   When ever POTUS opens his mouth on the subject he makes it worse.  

Romney on Obama's failed Foreign Policy - US Election 2012

The New York Times: Reports that Governor Romney attacked the foreign policy of the Obama Administration today, the Governor as the article notes, " ..criticized the president as lacking a comprehensive counterterrorism policy and failing to capitalize on the Arab Spring uprisings. ".

Lets Get Real:

As noted in previous blog post the major weakness for the Oval is the murder of the US Ambassador in Libya, the stonewalling about calling the attack on the US Consulate a terrorists attack does have a smell of a cover up.   The attack came on 9/11, a major theme of the Democratic Convention was that the Oval has killed OBL and that Al Qaeda was a spent force, the murders in Libya spoiled that message.    Thus the murders were blamed on anti Islamic tape.   This cover did not last, it seems that the Oval knew early that it was a terrorists attack.    Also the lack of security at the Consulate has become a major issue, why was there not enough security even after a request by the Ambassador.   This cover up has not reached the mind of the US voter, the success for the drones in Afghanistan and Pakistan has reached the general public, also the removal of troops from Iraq and the planned withdraw of US troops from Afghanistan in 2014.    The US voter is tired of constant WARS, thus no great appeal for another War, in this case with Iran.   Thus it can be argued that Oval is following the wishes of the voter, thus a 2nd term. 

The POLLS after the DEBATE - US Election 2012

Thus folks lets have a look at the US polls after the 1st Presidential Debate between President Obama and Governor Romney.

Rasmussen Reports (LV): In its daily tracking poll it finds that both President Obama and Governor Romney tied at 48%.

Gallup (RV): Reports in its daily tracking poll that President Obama leads Governor Romney by 50% to 45%, a 5% lead.

Lets Get Real:

Thus folks it can be argued that the Debate on the whole has kept the race even, in Rasmussen Obama and Romney are tied when it comes to likely voters, when it comes to Gallup and registered voters we see a 5% lead for POTUS.   Thus the debate bounce for Romney was limited, and the good news on the job front has steadied the Obama boat.  It can be postulated that POTUS will come out fighting in the 2nd debate, and will do a Reagan of 84 and close down this race.   As the 2nd debate is about foreign policy one can expect that POTUS will stated that he gave the order to kill OBL and that the US is out of Iraq and is getting out of Afghanistan.   This is not 1980 when Iran held US hostages, on the whole Obama has a strong hand with foreign policy, the murder of the US Ambassador in Libya has not really made its way in to the mainstream of US voters.   Thus any cover up charges will look odd to US voters.   This blog is still predicting a narrow Obama WIN. 

Middle East and the 2012 Race

Just ask Jimmy Carter how a Middle East blowing up in your face can make you a 1 term President and most disliked since Richard Nixon, sorry worse that even Nixon. The Republicans ticket has already been highly critical of the Oval for it lack of action when the US Flag was torn down from its post at US Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. Thus expect the Republicans to attack Obama for being weak on the War on Terror, the quote that the Oval was leading from behind in the Libyan War will come back to haunt the the Obama White House. The DNC made a point that Obama was a hawk when it came to Foreign Policy, thus the death of OBL, WELL the voters are going to ask what is the Oval going to do about the murders in Libya and the Muslim Brotherhood in charge in Egypt. A lot can happen in eight weeks folks, the story of the Middle East never ends, just one crisis after another, lets see what the Oval does to deal with the killers of US Diplomats and US Marines.

If this is true would make sure that the new leaders in Libya didn't get the blame for the lack of security for the US Consulate, on the other hand this attack seems rather well planned, on 9/11, it could be revenge for the death of OBL, it could be the work of Al Qaeda, if it turns out to be Al Qaeda then the Oval has a problem, it would show its drone strikes are not working, this blog has no problem with drone strikes, more the merrier to be honest, even if innocent people are killed, that is the price of WAR. But and here is the capital BUT, they have to WORK, if it was Al Qaeda then the drones strikes are taking out terrorists that should be caught and forced to hand over what ever info they have, by any means. Also as a result those innocents that are being killed would not be hurt, this is not about the quality of mercy folks, its about results, What ever works, IF the Obama kill list is not working, and its BIG IF, then Obama got a lucky shot with OBL, the rest of his policy is open to question. Lets see what the CIA/FBI find out about the attack, local or part of Al Qaeda. It could effect the outcome of the November election folks.

OBL's Death - The Truth

Lets Get Real:

This blog has not problem that OBL was kllled while unarmed, or shot while wounded on the floor, in fact the US Special Forces were to kind to him, if it has been this blog he would taken his time to die, we were all changed by 9/11. The worry for the Oval is that the US left will start to ask questions, were the lied too, the official version was that OBL was going for a gun, not true, thus the operation to get OBL was a kill operation. If Obama had been a Republican the US liberal left would be going bonkers, but one can expect they will remain quiet in till after November. The US Special Forces that killed OBL are heroes, its just the shame that the Oval is acting like it killed OBL, it gave the order but was not there, and from reports it seems that the Oval was pushed in to taking action by Secretary Clinton, thus not that impressive POTUS.

Lets see if the liberal main stream media in the US picks up this story, as it is negative about POTUS do not hold your breath. The US Media on the whole with the exception of Fox News bought in to the Obama Campaign in 2008. They can not afford to be shown to be wrong about their choice, thus in the mind of the media Obama is still the man who was firm in the killing of OBL, they will not want to show a weak leader who was forced in to action by a woman, and a Clinton at that, it would be to much for them, they would have a break down, a real one folks. Thus the real POTUS is on show, lets hope Syria is not reading the Mail.
