Lets Get Real:
As this blog suggested last week the Spanish Government should read the riot act in Catalan, place those Independence leaders who pushed this claim forward in jail for treason. The Madrid Government has to show firmness, no talks, no getting the EU in, that would open the flood gates to other areas wanting their freedom. The EU as a body politic can not cope with other poor nations wanting to be part of the EU gravy train. The German tax payer will revolt if has to bail other Countries out, we do not want to see the far right getting more Seats in the German Parliament. Time for the EU to wake up and go to sleep again, Catalan is more trouble than its worth.
