This WAR can only end when the Tehran Regime is taken down by Trump.  If Trump can keep his nerve he will be the President that the Iranian problem.  CNN and the left wing media are acting like the Appeasing UK Times of the 1930s.  They seem to have forgotten that the Tehran Regime killed over thirty thousand of its own people when they protested against the Regime.  Trump should ignore the Media, and win the WAR, he can restore Presidential Credibility and take it to the Democrats in the Mid Terms.  This is Trump's one chance at greatness!

Thus far the US has lot 16 Service Personnel, the US Navy hit Iran again after the attacks on Jordan.  The US has to hit Iran hard, cut off power to the people of Iran, taken down bridges, cut off water, make the citizens of Iran more afraid of the US than their own evil regime.  The Trump Oval does not have all the time in the WORLD, the cost of oil is going up and then there is the US Mid Terms in November.  If the Democrats take the  House and Senate they could curtail US action in the Middle East, the Democratic Party of JFK and Bill Clinton has gone, the socialist left is trying to take over the Democratic Party as Trump took over the Republican Party.  Thus Trump has to move fast and the WAR by winning it for the US, delay will help the Tehran Regime and the left in the US.

The Oval has set the deadline for the hostages, Hamas will have to decide does it want to cross Trump and face the consequences, or release the hostages in one go or try to release them as planned a couple at a time.  The Trump Oval wants Gaza, who has the will to say no, what about Egypt or Jordan.  Time will tell!

Someone needs to control Trump, his idea has received negative views around the World.  NEITHER Jordan or Egypt want 2.2 million more refugees, the age of Empire's has gone, also Trump's plan would break international law.  The White House  Chief of Staff needs to make that Trump does not cause an international crisis, next will be the Ukraine, more aid or NATO countries will have to fund Kyiv, oh for the quiet days of Biden.

This is not a bad idea, the two state solution, is as dead as dodo, everything has been tried from the Presidencys of Bill Clinton to Bush 43, and Palestinians have said No, they got nearly all they wanted from Bill Clinton but would not bend a little.  Thus the Palestinians should think about this plan, and not just say NO, the West would give funds, Jordan and Egypt would be doing a big favour for the Palestinians, the rich Arab countries could be expected to give money, its an idea worthy of discussion.

An Anchor on CNN stated that the Biden Administration was using kid gloves when it comes to attacks on terrorists targets in Syria and Iraq, that the attacks were on old targets.  This means that the US is throwing million dollar missiles to hit the sand.  Also the fact that the the Biden Oval took 5 days to answer the attack in Jordan.  The Biden appeaser is coming out, one can expect the right to hit him hard in the 2024 campaign on this issue.  All roads lead to Iran, they get off scot free, one assumes they are laughing their asses off in Tehran, they can do what like under a Biden Presidency, POTUS is to afraid of his shadow.

The US must have tough response to Iran, all roads in the Middle East end in Tehran, this has happened since the 1979 Revolution and the weak response by Jimmy Carter.  The President at the time could have stopped the Tehran Regime in its tracks if he had taken military action against the Islamic Regime after they took the US Embassy Staff hostages, let's recall they were held for 444 days and only released WHEN Reagan become President.  Their decades in power has lead to more deaths and destruction, they might have the bomb soon, thus President Biden must take action, the question does he want a 2nd term or not.

The growth of Daesh is placing pressure on the States near Syria and Iraq, the threat of Daesh undermines the the structure of the Middle East, thus far it has dragged in the Russians and the US, at present they are using their air power to strike Daesh, it can be argued that Russia was more interested in hitting the opposition to Assad than hitting Daesh, the bombing of the Russian plane has changed the game, it can now be expected that Moscow will start to hit Daesh HARD, very hard, the problem that Moscow has is that the Russian people recall the failed War in Afghanistan by the then USSR, its failure helped bring the USSR.   Of late we have seen the failure of the US in Iraq, these fights are out of the usual power interests, thus open to defeat.   Tense days for Moscow and Washington D.C.

The powers through back channels need to have talks off the radar, the Russians and Iran must see that their interests are taken care off, while the West and its allies must keep to their stated policy that Assad must go, therefore the Russians and Iran and the West need to select a candidate that they can live with, its far from a perfect solution but it seems the only solution.  One gets the impression one is writing a script for the series Homeland at the moment when one writes about Syria.  There needs to be stability in Syria, so those refugees can go home and take the pressure off, Lebanon, Jordan and other allies in the region.  The last thing that the US needs is for a close ally in the shape of Jordan to come under Daesh attack or for Baghdad to fall to Daesh.   Thus the diplomatic talks needs to reach a successful end, even in secret agreements, where is Henry Kissinger when you need him.

This blogger has no interest in seeing this disgusting video, that is the the one thing that the mainstream press can do, they can report on it and give commentary.   On the other hand, there will be those that deny that the ACT took place, thus while the footage should not be shown on the 24/7 news channels it should be allowed to be seen, if ONLY to make sure that people in the Middle East see that it took place.   This blog has been clear its opposition to IS and Al Qaeda, but has not shown individual acts, there is no need, we know it happened, but the mind set of the Western viewer is so short that sometimes they need to see the harsh reality of this World.

This shows if it need showing that Islamic State is a group of low life scum, they burned a pilot alive, it is sick, and shows why IS has to be destroyed root and branch.   IS battle will take years in the view of the Obama Administration, the World can not wait years, any more years and the threat from IS grows, the US took out a IS chemical weapons expert a few days ago, the World has to fear that IS will one day get its hands of WMD, and they will use it, time for the World, through the UN to use the forces of the World not just the UK and the US to take out these terrorist scumbags.  The West can not wait, what happens if IS goes WMD ready.

The IS terrorists group is low life scum. their terror knows no bounds, the West and Japan have to fight IS with everything they have, it is important that IS does not go in Lebanon and Jordan, that its control of Syria and Iraq is reduced.   The West has to make it clear that any Western people going to IRAQ and SYRIA are going at their own risk, and that the West will not pay ransom for them if they are taken, the West has to be clear on that, there should be no back room deals, no dealing with terrorists.

It is interesting that the US and its Allies have things to hit, one would have thought IS would changed its strategy when it can not as present shoot down Allied airplanes, this blog takes the view of the US that IS did not shoot down the plane from Jordan, that it crashed due to internal problems.   The day will come when the Iraqi Army wants to hit Mosul, they are very interested in getting the War going, the US and its Allies are worried that should the Iraqi Army take on IS in Mosul they might lose, that would not help the War.   The Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs will one day tell the Oval that it needs US ground troops, the answer will decide if the US wins or loses in the Middle East. 

IS Update 3 - Kerry on IS War - Middle East Crisis

As the article notes these land victories against IS have been on the margins of IS control, when it comes to taking on the larger areas of Iraq and Syria it will require US and UK Special Forces and it might even need combat troops to take the towns,   The West has to be careful that it gives IS to much time, lets recall IS has its own currency or is planning its own currency, it teaches the young the values of IS with brutal sick videos, it has aspects of a State and those roots can not be allowed to grow.   Thus after the air was has done all it can do the Oval and its allies will have to have real talks on a ground plan for Syria and Iraq, the Oval wants to pass the problem the next US Administration, it might not have the time, if IS grows it could attack Jordan or Lebanon, allies of the West,   Also as noted the US  has to be kept an eye on  a nuclear Iran, that is a major threat to Middle East security. 

 

IS Update Part 3 - War on Terror 2

Lets Get Real:

Thus what is the outcome of the increase troops to Iraq, the WARS in Syria and Iraq now belong to President Obama, in many respects Obama is becoming the modern LBJ, his poll ratings falling at home, the WARS in a far place, there being no easy out, the Republicans are gaining due to the Obama failure at home.   As stated in previous post the Oval wants to hand over the WARS to his successor, the problem with that is that IS have a say, what if they move the fight to Jordan and Lebanon,  this would force the US to take on IS on the battle field.    As many have stated, the air power alone strategy will not work, either due to outside events or reality getting through the White House bubble the Oval will face the fact that US troops have to get in to the trenches, its just a matter of when, that is the fate of THE WARS in Iraq and Syria, either the Obama Oval will understand the fact or his successor will get that fact. 

The NEXT IS Flashpoint = Turkey - War on Terror

Lets Get Real:

The growth of IS a threat to the entire Middle East, lets recall Turkey is part of NATO, it only takes one attack on Turkey for NATO to come in to the picture, also IS is a threat to Iran, thus while Iran rebukes the US for its actions it needs the US to carry on with its airstrikes, while they use their military presence in Iraq to support the Baghdad Government.    One would think that the leadership of IS would understand that an attack on Turkey would be a grave mistake, but that does not mean that there are not other targets, refugees have flooded, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan, as Jordan is a close ally of the US and the West the US would have to protect the Kingdom should come under threat.    The question is can airstrikes on IS work without a ground operation, no one outside the Oval seems to think that you can ONLY do airstrikes, you need troops on the ground to take ground and keep it, thus we are back to the question of boots on the ground, lets hope the Oval gets over its ego and gets the troops ready for action, it is coming, reality and the wishes of the Oval are about to hit each other, rhetoric is good but you have to have boots on the ground. 

Obama vs. The Generals - 2nd Term Blues

Telegraph: Reports on the reaction of the liberal base of the Democratic Party to the suggestion that  ground troops could be used in Iraq, the article notes the following, " The suggestion angered and alarmed Mr Obama's liberal supporters and prompted the White House to hastily rule out the possibility of Americans on the front line. "

Lets Get Real: 

As this blog tweeted the White House would have to row back the remarks by the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the liberal base elected President Obama, they are not happy will recent developments in Iraq, they would rather not take on IS.   Either IS is a major threat or it is not, the Oval can not have it both ways, what if IS starts to cause problems in Jordan and Lebanon, at some point the Oval will have to either break with the liberal base or allow IS to become a State in the Middle East.  Neither is a great choice for President Obama, well Obama wanted the job, not a lot of Presidents leave the White House happy, the exception being Reagan and Clinton, and Reagan had the edge because his VP was his successor.   Thus what will the Oval do when it comes time to really decide about Iraq and Syria.
