Those Iowa VOTES

The New York Times: Reports on the raise in the polls of former US Senator Rick Santorum. Folks lets get real here, the Republican Party needs a candidate who is Conservative but does not frighten Independent and Conservative Democrats voters. That candidate is Governor Romney, yes this blog has sought out someone else, Parry, Cain, Gingrich, but for one reason or another they cant win, thus we are left with Romney. The liberal New York Times would love the Republican fight to go on for a long time, Conservatives need a quick process, that means what ever your doubts in Iowa, you have to chose Romney, he has stated he will repeal ObamaCare, and be more tough with Iran. It time to WIN folks, thus vote Romney.

Latest Iowa Poll

The Hill: Reports on a new NBC/Marist Poll for Iowa, at the top is Governor Romney at 23%, Congressman Paul at 21% and former US Senator Rick Santorum at 15%. As stated many times in this blog, if Romney can take Iowa and then win big in NH this race is in effect over, but and also stated the big BUT is that Paul could take Iowa, then Romney NH, if Gingrich is finished again this could allow Santorum a chance in South Carolina, thus a long race for the Republican nomination. As kind readers of this blog has found, this blog has latched on to any Conservative candidate who can beat Romney but more important President Obama, thus far we have seen Perry, Cain, Gingrich self explode, of the three Perry is gaining ground, but his disaster at the Republican debates means Obama would eat him alive, thus folks we come back to Romney, yes this blog has never been a fan, quite the reverse, but the Republican Party cant have a long race, this would allow the Obama Campaign to define the winner before he or she could define who they are, thus folks of Iowa, VOTE FOR ROMNEY, he can win the Republican nomination quickly and can defeat POTUS. Yes we have to keep an eye on him, make sure he follows the Conservative line, but at least he knows that, thus FOLKS, VOTE for Romney on January 3rd.

New Hampshire and the Republican Race

The New York Times: Reports that the political gloves have come off in NH, former House Speaker called for Governor Romney to return the money from the Companies he bankrupted, while Romney has called on Gingrich to give back money from a Government Agency. Folks the liberal NYT is loving this, but what it does show is how close the former Speaker is to taking the nomination away from Governor Romney, the Romney Campaign has been playing safe in till now, the contenders to Romney have destroyed their own Campaigns, but Gingrich had a blow at the start, thus while Romney was battling Perry, Cain, the Gingrich Campaign came in on the inside to take the lead. The baggage of the former Speaker are well known, thus not news folks. If Newt Gingrich can win Iowa and come close to Romney in his home state in many respects and then head South to Southern States he can win the nomination before the end of the month of January. This blog is going to make bold prediction, the Republican Nominee is going to be Newt Gingrich.

Cain’s 13 Year Affair ? - Republican Race

The New York Times: Reports on a alleged 13 year affair between former Republican front runner Herman Cain and a woman named Ginger White. As to quote Ms White this was a romance one has to ask why is the liberal NYT running the story, it of course from their point of view confirms that Mr Cain has not his kept his marriage vows, Herman Cain has denied the allegation but has admitted knowing Ms White. One can say that the Cain Campaign is finished, there are just to many allegation from sexual harassment to this alleged affair. Thus one can expect Newt Gingrich to get even more of a boost in the polls, the conservative and tea party supporters in the Republican Party don’t have anywhere else to go in time for the Iowa and NH vote. Also this blog would not be surprised to see Governor Romney getting some of the Cain vote, he so spotless he shines, thus its down to Romney and Gingrich folks, one would expect the Cain Campaign to fall off a cliff in the near future.

Gingrich the MAN ? - Republican Race

RCP: Reports on its average of the polls for the Republican race, as of now former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich leads the pack, here is today’s snapshot of the race, “ Gingrich 23.2%, Romney 21% and Cain 18.2% ”. Lets be honest here folks, the others in the race can be discounted, Perry is a busted flush, first impressions count, and his bad debate performances and his support for allowing illegal immigrants to go to University has not played well with the Republican race. Thus we come to the two man race between Gingrich and Romney, the Cain Campaign has never really come back from the sexual allegations against, not fair but that is politics folks. It can be argued that Governor Romney has to be careful, he has allowed his challengers to self explode on the campaign trail, but Gingrich is different, he had awful start but has come back, plus his personal baggage is well known to the press and to the voters. Romney has to take Gingrich on, he has started this with his attack on the Gingrich appeal for a humane approach to immigration, this attack might work well with the base, on the other hand the base wants someone who can win, they might think Gingrich taking on the base might work well in the General Election, thus give him a pass on this policy. The Speaker has to careful, he as come across as the most intelligent man in the room, but in this modern election cycle you have to be brief and to the point, he would defeat Obama in debates, but he as to get there first, so it could be either Gingrich or Romney folks, six weeks to go before Iowa.

Romney and Iowa

The New York Times: Reports that leading Republican Candidate Governor Mitt Romney has increased in Campaign presence in Iowa, the Romney Campaign wants to win the Iowa Caucus. If Romney can win Iowa and New Hampshire the race could be over folks, but this could be the liberal NYT building Romney up for a fall, latest polls out of Iowa show either Gingrich in the lead or tie between Romney, Gingrich and Cain. Lets recall the liberal bloated NYT will do all it can to get Obama re-elected, thus any domestic political reporting has to be suspect, and read very carefully. That’s a problem when a paper becomes so tied to an agenda folks, the once paper of record is now the liberal secular bible. On the other hand its international reporting is straight down the line and objective, just wish they had that for their domestic reporting.

Gingrich TIED with Romney in New Hampshire - Republican Race

WSJ: Reports on a new poll in New Hampshire of Republican voters, the race is a virtual tie, with Romney on 29% and Gingrich on 27%. If the former Speaker could win Iowa and New Hampshire this would the best political comeback since Truman, but can Newt Gingrich not implode as has been the fate of past front runners, Parry, Cain. It is only seven weeks in till the Iowa Caucus folks, if Gingrich can mount a decent field operation and win or come close he has a good chance to take on Romney on his home field of New Hampshire. The close fight causes problems for the Obama team, they had thought that their opposition would be Mitt Romney, thus the early attacks on him, as following the Clinton handbook of 1996. But they just might have to wait, this helps the Republicans, they seem to taken on Reagan’s 11 rule of not attacking fellow Republicans and attacking Obama. There is a CNN debate on Tuesday folks, that Wednesday morning UK time, lets see who wins that and if any other candidates can make an impression.

40% Job Approval for POTUS - Gallup

Gallup: Reports on its daily tracking poll of the job performance of President Obama, today POTUS has a 40% Approval, while 51% of Average Americans Disapprove of the Obama record. As a wise political operative stated in 1992, it’s the “ Economy Stupid ”, and in 92 the economy was not that bad compared to the Obama years. The Chicago re-elect committee has to create the impression that if Obama is re-elected in 2012 the economy will turn around and if the Republicans are elected it will get worse. If unemployment is still around 9% in November 2012 the Oval will have to go negative, the election cant be allowed to be a referendum of the Obama record, thus the Obama re-elect will have to rubbish the Republican nominee, at the moment the Committee have a problem, they cant just attack Romney and spend the kind of money they have, the reason there a least two other viable Republican candidates in the shape of Herman Cain and former House Speaker, Newt Gingrich. Thus the Oval and the Democrats will have to wait in till at least February for clear candidate, then expect a ugly campaign folks, it’s the Chicago way.

ObamaCare and Congressional Democrats

The Hill: Reports that Democrats in Congress are worried that ObamaCare will be thrown out by the US Supreme Court. In many respects this would help the Oval, at least the hated mandate, by which US Citizens would be forced to buy medical cover would not be an issue in November 2012. The real worry for the Chicago Obama re-elect committee would be if the US Supreme Court decided it was legal, thus would make the tea party movement come out in droves in November. The Republican candidates would have a field day if the Court gave the green light to ObamaCare, even Romney has argued that RomneyCare is not a template for the rest of the US. Thus the Republicans could make ObamaCare their major issue in till November. Thus the tea party supporters and independent voters it can be argued could push the Republican Nominee over the wining line.

Gingrich, The New Comeback! ( Poll, PDF )

CBS Poll: Reports that the Republican Race has become a three man race, the Candidates rate the following, Cain 18%, Romney 15%, Gingrich 15%. Thus the Romney Strategy of being the last man standing could come under attack, Gingrich had a disastrous start to his Campaign, he was written off, this blog wrote him off, but with the sexual allegations against Cain and Romney not being trusted by the Conservative and Gingrich really going after the left wing media he just might have a chance, but then we face the fact that Iowa voting in less that six weeks time, with Christmas and the New Year breaks your really talking about 4 weeks. Thus one has to ask WHY the candidates are spending so much time in debates, how about meeting the voters, the good people of Iowa and NH like to look their candidates in the eyes, shake their hands, have good debates, not quite the same thing seeing them on TV all the TIME. Lets see some polls over the next few weeks before we get excited by a two polls, a week is a long time in politics folks.

The Republican Race - Who’s UP an DOWN

The Hill: Reports a new poll on the Republican Race, the McClatchy-Marist Poll has Governor Romney on 23%, Newt Gingrich 19% and Herman Cain 17%. I will be honest folks, I never saw the former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich coming back in the race after his disaster at the start of the Campaign. As those kind to read my tweets of the last but one debate the Speaker at least got referenced, he had a very good debate, and the sexual allegations against Herman Cain seem to have done some damage. The Republican fight will come down to Romney vs. either Cain or Gingrich. Lets be honest both Cain and Gingrich have baggage, thus as long as the Romney Campaign can keep the Conservative vote split the race is for Romney to lose, if he can win Iowa or come close and then take NH, he will be very hard to beat folks. But the race got interesting folks.

Perry OUT? - Republican Race

Telegraph: In essence reports that Governor Rick Perry is a political zombie, still running but no chance. Thus as this blog is a Republican/Conservative Blog it better start to at least not dislike Governor Romney, one has to recall that even the great Reagan was a Democrat, yes the other side, at least Romney was not a Democrat, just very liberal. Folks in Iowa and NH, lets get behind Romney, lets make Romney 2012 the next POTUS.

Rick Perry = Damage Limitation

BBC News: Reports that Governor Perry of Texas has gone on a damage limitation operation after his massive blunder at the Republican Debate. Its not the blunder itself folks, but the pattern, the Governor has had bad debate performances since entering the race, his poll numbers are in the tank, the great Ronald Reagan had a bad 1st debate performance against former Vice President Walter Mondale in 1984, the media started to discuss his age, then in the 2nd debate he destroyed Walter Mondale, he famous line the he would not use Mondale’s youth and inexperience against him, the reporters even laughed, Walter Mondale knew his political career was over then, as he said, he smiled at the joke, at the rebuke but was crying inside. Perry is NO Reagan.

The Disaster that is Rick Perry - Republican Debate

The New York Times: Reports on the disastrous debate performance of Governor Rick Perry of Texas, he could only name two of three Federal Government Departments he would cut if he won the Oval. Lets be straight here folks, Rick Perry will not be the Republican Nominee for President, his performance last night, the humiliation was the high point of a very ordinary night in debate terms. In Presidential politics you have to have the ability to think on your feet, Herman Cain had the his scandal thrown at him, he dealt with it well, and the people in the Hall supported him and not the main stream media. On the whole Governor Romney had a even night, still on form, but less of that sparkle and fighting spirit. As of now the race is still between Romney and Cain, although Mr Cain was miles ahead of Perry in the debate the sexual allegations scandal might have sunk his run this year, but we shall see folks. More debates folks, next one Saturday, when do the Candidates Campaign, it would be nice to see them meet VOTERS.

Cain and Conservatives

The Hill: Reports that well known Conservative have come to the support of Herman Cain. Lets be honest folks, the deal with Mr Cain is that he is not Governor Romney, the Conservative base of the Republican Party does not trust Romney aft his previous liberal views, thus to find a charismatic Conservative who happens to be African - American was a great delight to Conservatives, but the glare of a Presidential run will show any weakness, thus we shall see if Mr Cain can come through this fire, if he can then he has a real chance at the White House in 2012, but we need to see more of his wife, does not look if your wife is not about, helps with the PR. Lets recall Bill Clinton has Hillary in 1992, saved his political bacon, even if lied through his teeth.

Cain TRIAL by Press

Guardian: Reports the following on the latest sexual allegation against Republican Herman Cain by Sharon Bialek, the article states the following, “ potentially politically devastating detail how she was allegedly sexually harassed by him 14 years ago. ”. Lets be honest here folks the left wing media will go crazy about this story, never mind the truth, a Conservative Black Republican has to be as clean as snowflakes, otherwise the left wing main stream media will make its business to destroy that candidate. The general public can expect more negative articles on Mr Cain, lets set aside the allegations, the fear on the left is that Cain would destroy their political base in the US, thus they will use any allegation no matter its foundations to kill off a Campaign, lets see if the Cain Campaign can come back, it will be tough folks, there is now a face and specific details and dates, if true its curtain for Mr Cain, on the whole its still Romney all the way in 2012.

Herman Cain and Sexual Assault Charge ? - Graphic Detail

Telegraph: Reports that a 50 year old woman, Sharon Bialek has come forward with a detail charge of sexual assault against the Republican frontrunner Herman Cain. There is now a face to the sexual charges against Mr Cain, the Cain Campaign has rejected the charges as false. Thus the result folks, is Cain finished ?, really depends if more women come out and with similar kind of charges, or if the main stream media as they will try to make sure that the Cain Campaign cant attack Ms Bialek. Politics is a brutal business folks, can the Cain Campaign come back form this, as stated depends on future events, but it does not look good, pity in many respects, the Republicans can not afford to have their own Bill Clinton. Thus its Romney all the way folks, Conservatives might not love Romney but at least he is not Obama, and is a pure as the driven snow when it comes to scandal.

Is Cain TOAST ? - 2012 Republican Race

The New York Times: Reports that one of the women in the sexual harassment allegations against Republican front runner Herman Cain was given a thirty five thousand dollars pay off by the trade body that Cain lead. Thus far folks the liberal NYT has nothing, its still unnamed sources, no details, no dates, its all very murky, and down in the article it states that the woman left for other reason beyond the Cain angle. The extreme liberal NYT is fishing folks, its desperate for the woman to come out, otherwise it does not have a story. Also as the lawyer for the woman noted last night on CNN she works for the Federal Government, why would it not surprise me if she worked in Washington D.C. Lets hope the Obama Campaign has nothing to do with this folks, but am not holding my breath, lets recall they are in Chicago, even God has written those politicians off, to much hard work.

Herman Cain’s SIN ? = Black & Conservative

CNN: Reports that the Cain Campaign has responded to the allegations of sexual misconduct by stating that the media is using unnamed sources. Folks it has to be asked is the major SIN for the main stream media the fact that Mr Cain is a African - American who happens to be a Conservative, if this was a Democrat who supported abortion rights would the left wing media be so interested, would they bother to get more information, Senator Edwards was given hell lot more breathing room by his friends in the media. Lets see if the allegations stand up folks, if not the Cain Campaign will understand what Nixon knew, the main stream media see it as their duty to destroy Republicans. This blog will only report if there are names and dates to these allegations folks, otherwise its left wing hit job on a Conservative, and quite frankly the Liberal Left can take a running jump of a big cliff, GROW UP.

Cain and Sexual Allegations of Misconduct

The Hill: Reports on allegations that the Republican front runner Herman Cain committed sexual misconduct while in charge of a trade group. The left wing media are going to be all over this folks, they will forget Bill Clinton, they always do if it’s a Democrat, so far the Cain Campaign has rejected the allegation, but the Candidate has to come out with a straight refusal. Lets look at the PR of this folks, it always hurts Republicans, either Cain has to say its not true at all and he cant be proven not to be telling the truth, or if there are any embers in the story he has to get it all out and hope the US voter is following the Clinton example of 1997, its what the politicians does on the job that counts not her personal life. Lets be honest JFK would not have gotten close to the Oval in 1960 if his personal life had come out, even now JFK would have a hard time, the press of yesterday might have covered for him, not today, go ask former Senator Edwards about sex scandals. The winner will be Governor Romney folks, so straight as to be boring, this might give a chance for Perry to come back, we shall see folks, Iowa is getting close, nearly eight weeks to go folks.
