Japan a TARGET - NK Crisis Update 5

Daily Mail: Reports the following from the North Korean Crisis, " North Korea has threatened to target Japan first and attack its capital,....Tokyo has orders to destroy any missile heading toward Japan,.. ".

Lets Get Real:

The North Korean Regime must know that ANY attack on Japan would lead to the US taking out North Korea, there would be NO NORTH KOREA left, so we are seeing a poker game folks, thus the question what does the Stalinist Regime want, if it wants to be accepted as a nuclear power then its on the wrong path, the US  and its allies are tired of the blackmail since 1994, they will never accept as nuclear armed North Korea, if the US was to allow that then South Korea and Japan would be on the phone tomorrow with credit card in hand to go nuclear.   If the North has developed a small scale warhead that it can place on a nuclear missile then that is a game changer for the Region folks.  One has to wonder how much does China know about the North Korea nuclear arsenal, as in really know, this Crisis it feels like is coming to an end game, one way or another, if the Regime wants to topple just attack South Korea or Japan, the reaction will be harsh, thus if that is not the end game what is, as said it seems that North Korea  wants something, the best guess would be food, the US is not going to do a deal that ends the Korean War, the US is not leaving South Korea, thus folks, the North will have to take the food cargo, either from China or the US, otherwise the Region and the World is a WORLD OF HURT. 

Kerry in South Korea 2 - NK Crisis Update 4

Telegraph: Reports the following on the visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry to South Korea, " America has declared its determination to defend its allies in Asia, warning North Korea that it would be making a “huge mistake” if it test-fired a missile. ".

Lets Get Real:

As the article notes folks the North Koreans have started to bring Japan in the frame, threatening Japan with nuclear destruction, thus we WAIT folks, one could very much postulate that ALL this rhetoric out of NK is HOT AIR, but there is always that worry that the new leader, Kim Jong-un could make a mistake, give an order that can not be taken back, but so far NOTHING, lets hope its ALL RHETORIC, one would have to say if one betted on the result that after the missile test that North Korea will get back in to its box, lets hope China has started to pull some strings in North Korea, without China's support NK would fall apart, time for the Masters to control their wayward spoiled child.   Otherwise North Korea could make  a costly mistakes that could lead to a regional war and the deaths of millions, and a massive refugee problem for China, the stakes could not be higher folks. 

Kerry in South Korea - NK Crisis Update 3

Guardian: Reports the following on the visit of the US Secretary of State John Kerry to South Korea, " US secretary of state tells Seoul right decisions can ensure peace, and says a nuclear-capable North will not be accepted ".

Lets Get Real:

Folks, lets be totally honest here, the only way out of this mess is to give North Korea food to feed its starving people, while it builds up its nuclear arsenal, the North is a nuclear armed power, the talks that the US has had with the NK should be a warning about Iran,  the Stalinist Regime has agreed to talks before, it has made promises then lied, during the Clinton and Bush Administrations, it knows that the Regime only keeps in power because it has the bomb, it knows it can lie to the US and get away with it, you do not play military games with a Country with the bomb, thus folks another warning about Iran.  The Oval and the UN must hope that if the NK is given food it will get back in the box for a while, the North Koreans have made it clear that  they will not deal when it comes to their nuclear arsenal, thus its check mate, the Oval should have a word with China, get China to give what ever food NK wants and then the US will pay China.   Then the Oval can say it has not been blackmailed, China can ask a favour back, and NK can feed its people, just an idea folks. 

Kerry on North Korea - NK Crisis Update 2

BBC News: Reports that US Secretary of State John Kerry has warned North Korea that test firing its missile would be provocative and a major mistake. 

Lets Get Real:

Thus the Obama Administration from the Oval down has sent warnings to North Korea, the next step is down to North Korea, if they fire their missile, what will the US and its allies do, that depends on where the missile goes, if its fired over open water then the Crisis is over, it shows that North Korea is bluffing, if on the other hand it goes over South Korea or Japan and they shoot it down, we are in new ball game folks.   Then it would be down to North Korea, how would they react, yes folks it could get out of hand fast.   This blog is making the guess and its a BIG GUESS that the NK will test fire its missile over open water, then go quiet for a few months, that is the hope folks, on the other hand the test firing could be a major diversion, the NK could attack or try to take over one of S. Korea's Islands, or it could sink a S.Korean ship, there are so many unknowns folks.  Watch this space. 

Obama on North Korea - NK Crisis Update 1

The White House: President Obama stated the following remarks on North Korea after a meeting with the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, " We had an opportunity to discuss North Korea, where the Secretary General obviously has an important political interest but also a personal interest as a native of the Republic of Korea.  And we both agree that now is the time for North Korea to end the kind of belligerent approach that they’ve been taking, and to try to lower temperatures -- nobody wants to see a conflict on the Korean Peninsula.  But it’s important for North Korea, like every other country in the world, to observe the basic rules and norms that are set forth, including a wide variety of U.N. resolutions that have passed.  And we will continue to try to work to resolve some of those issues diplomatically, even as I indicated to the Secretary General that the United States will take all necessary steps to protect its people and to meet our obligations under our alliances in the region.  ".

Thus folks the Oval and the rest of the World is waiting to see what the Stalinist North Korean Regimes does, thus far we have been waiting days for a missile  launch, it was thought it would be fired on the 10th of April, the day that NK stated that it could not guarantee the security of Diplomats in NK, but then nothing, then last nigh/early morning in the UK the news leaked from the Obama Administration that one of its intelligence agencies thought that NK had the ability to place a small nuclear warhead on a nuclear missile,. today the US Secretary of State John Kerry was very careful to state that this was not the 100% opinion of ALL US intelligence agencies, thus we are in the dark folks, well not really, the UK Times last year had a report that North Korea has successful placed a small warhead on a missile, since that was a year ago, one can assume that NK has been successful with any technical problems.   This blog would not be surprised if the missile test took place on the same day as the Thatcher funeral.   The NK regime hates to be out of the news. 

Obama's Budget 2 - 2nd Obama Term

Guardian: Reports the following on its live blog on Obama's 2nd Budget, this is its 8.38pm post " Republican rejected the president's plan as not doing enough to reduce the deficit, while welcoming his inclusion of possible cuts to social insurance programs. The GOP did not budge in its opposition to new tax revenue, which the president insisted on. ".

The left wing elite love tax hikes folks, that ALL they ever support, the fact that US has a debt over nearly 17 trillion,  of which most of it comes from welfare, that never reaches their mind of those on the left.    The Democrats need a welfare culture, very much like the Labour Party under Ed Miliband in the UK, thus the use of class warfare in both the UK and the US.   In the 2012 Presidential race Mitt Romney stated that about 47% of voters were lost to the Republicans as they took some kind of welfare, he tried to backtrack but he was right, its well over 40%, at least Bill Clinton and Tony Blair wanted to move their Parties to the Centre, even to the right, allow people to get rich, help them to get rich, the present leaders in both the Democratic Party and Labour Party have regressed due to the banking collapse of 2008, it shows that the third way was hollow as their leaders.   Thus expect the left wing media to praise the Obama Budget, not ask any tough questions, why there are NO REAL CUTS, why its a smoke dance by the Oval, the limits the Oval wants to produce only as stated scales back the growth, no actual cuts, the Welfare State if it is not bough under control will destroy the West folks, just ask the USSR. 

Obama's Budget - 2nd Obama Term

BBC News: Reports that President Obama has produce a Budget that " ..proposes fresh taxes on the wealthy along with cuts to benefit programmes. ".

Lets Get Real:

This Budget is a waste of paper folks, the Republicans are NOT going to vote for TAX HIKES and Democrats do not dare touch welfare cuts, and lets be clear here folks, these are NOT CUTS, this plan reduces the growth of welfare, not actual CUTS, there is a difference folks.   The article notes that President Obama has stated that this is his final offer, well the Republicans should tell him to get lost, one has to recall folks this is all about 2014, the Oval wants to keep the Senate Democratic and retake the House, thus this Budget is a political trick.    The Republican House should say NO, simple and clear message, Obama had his chance when he controlled the Senate and House, and he took a year with ObamaCare, thus the reason the Republicans won the House, NO NEW TAXES folks.
