Bush 41 on Bush 43 - Bush Legacy

CNN - Politics: Reports on the update release of the letters and emails of Bush 41 in a new book by Bush 41.  The article notes the following, “  These newly revealed observations by the 41st president about his son the 43rd president, are outlined in an updated book "All the Best, George Bush; My Life in Letters and Other Writings," .. ”.

Lets Get Real:

It is interesting folks, Bush 43 was seen as the political son of Ronald Reagan, to the right of his father, for Bush 43 retaking the Oval was revenge for Bill Clinton defeating his father in 1992, he defeated VP Gore in 2000 by few hundred votes in Florida.   Thus Bill Clinton was the man in between the Bush Presidencies, the nightmare for LBJ was if Senator Robert Kennedy had lived and won in 1968, he would have been the guy between the Kennedy Presidencies.   In many ways Bush 43 was totally different from his father, he pushed for lower taxes, he was going in to Iraq one way or another after 9/11.  In the first Gulf War, Bush 41 had not gone to take down the Iraqi Regime, he stated that he would have lost his allies and gone beyond the UN resolution.   Bush 43 allowed UK PM Tony Blair to try the UN route before he was blocked by the French, after that the US was going in to Iraq.  Then it can be postulated that at his core Bush 43 wanted a 2nd term as show he was not his father, and thus he beat Senator Kerry in 2004.   One can tell from an article or book the slant if it about Bush 43, the way Bush 41 dealt with Iraq as compared to the son, it is of course interesting, but its all to recent folks, it will take 20/30 years before father and son can judge and their time in the Oval.  This blog read the first edition of the Bush letters, it will buy the new version when it comes out.

Syrian Civil War and a Regional War - Middle East

Lets Get Real:

Thus folks if the US had still been in Iraq it could have secured the border between Iraq and Syria, and prevented a chance of  a regional war developing due to the spill over of the Syrian Civil War.   This shows why allowing VP Biden to run Iraq policy was a disaster for the long term interests of the US.    The Oval should have two words on its mind, President Carter, at the end of the day the historical legacy of the Carter Administration was the invasion of Afghanistan by the USSR and the US hostages held in Iran.  The US voter at the end of the day wants a strong President, lets recall LBJ gave the US the Great Society, but the two words that come to mind in connection with LBJ is the Vietnam War, thus the election of Nixon in 1968 and Reagan after Carter in 1980.   The Democrats should be worried about 2014 Mid Terms and the 2016 Presidential Election, will the US voter really want a leader who leads from behind, one has doubts folks, history has a way of biting you on the behind if you allow your arrogance to get out of hand, who would have taken a Nobel Peace Prize for doing nothing, oh yes the Obama Oval.

Obama and Foreign Policy

Lets Get Real:

Thus folks not new, the Oval lead from behind over Libya, was forced by events to support France and UK in taking on Gaddafi,  in Iran the Oval did not support the brave protesters that took the streets to demonstrate against the stolen election, in Egypt it was slow to react to the protests and then it threw  its ally under the bus and got the Muslim Brotherhood in charge.   The Syrian Civil War could lead to a regional war as Israel has had to strike Syria to prevent the regime giving up to date missile equipments to its terrorists allies.   Then there is Iran is playing the Oval and the West for fools, it wants endless talks, then concessions, then it back tacks, the Tehran Regime wants the bomb folks, it has seen how the Oval has been weak with  North Korea.   This is why President Obama is no leader, he is weak, he is no JFK or Reagan.

Iran vs. US - 2nd Obama Term

Guardian: Reports on remarks by US Vice - President Joe Biden, the VP Stated that President Obama was “ not bluffing over Iran military threat,..that military option remains on the table for Obama to prevent Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon  ”.

Lets Get Real:

Folks if your in Tehran you must feel pretty safe, this is Joe Biden after all, the guy that lost US presence in Iraq in 2011 when he failed to get a agreement for US to stay in Iraq after 2011.  In the case of Afghanistan the Oval made sure that the US secured its presence, it showed that POTUS cared about Afghanistan and was worried about the Region after the US/UK leave Afghanistan in 2014.   Thus bluff folks, and its a bluff from this Oval is about 2016 and the view within the Biden household that Biden as a hells chance of being the next President.   Also it is a matter of PR, the Oval is going on its first visit to Israel soon and wants good press, thus these remarks.   The Israel Government should make sure that they keep close ties with the Republicans and Democrats in Congress, should Israel strike Iran it might need the US Congress to place pressure on the Oval to support Israel, ALL POLITICS IS LOCAL FOLKS as a great US House Speaker once stated.  Thus folks watch this space.

The New York Times & Left Wing Scare Tactics

Lets Get Real:

This blog missed the part in the editorial that states that the idea for the budgets cuts did not come from the " Evil " Republican House but from the Saintly Obama.  Yes folks its not there, and this blog looked.   This is why the elite wing media is not trusted, even more so since the Obama Presidency.   The left has lost its backbone, in their eyes Obama can not do wrong, he is liberal and  the first African - American President, this blog cares that Obama is a extreme LIBERAL, it does not care about his colour, thus this blog is racist from the view of the left wing media, who said you judge a man by his character not his skin colour, does ring a bell!! The NYT, should look down in shame, this is typical scare tactics your expect out of the Chicago Oval, it seems that the NYT is just toilet paper for the Oval, why it bothers calling itself a newspaper at all is beyond this blog.

The Budget Cuts and Obama - Part 3

Lets Get Real:

Interesting folks, the left wing Guardian does not mention that the budge cuts idea was from the mind of POTUS, that Bob Woodward of Watergate fame has stated that POTUS has moved the goal posts from previous talks, the main idea was cuts, not tax hikes, but all the Oval has gone on about its tax hikes, the Democrats on the Hill will never agree to REAL BUDGET CUTS, that is how they get elected, thus Obama is playing to his liberal base, and is being supported by the BBC and Guardian.   The US is nearly with 17 trillion of debt, it needs to cut spending or it will go like the EU, a welfare state that is cancer that will destroy the entire system.   The left will go on about the West saving the banking system, that is fair argument, but the majority of the US and UK debt is welfare spending, it this does not go down the debt will one day force major cuts, the kind that destroy political parties, better to bite the bullet now, cut and save the system, that have the system destroy itself, thus CUTS AND MORE CUTS.

The Budge Cuts - Part 2

BBC News: Reports that President Obama has signed in to effect the budget cuts agreed between the White House and the US Congress.

Lets Get Real:

It is not a great surprise that the elite UK media seems not to have mentioned that the budget cuts deal came form the brain of the Oval, of course that would put POTUS in bad light.    As the Oval came up with the plan it has to be asked why its it now jumping up and down like it has ants in its pants.   Of course the Oval thought that the Republican House would never go along with the Defence cuts, thus it would get its tax hikes, well the Oval miss read the Republican Agenda, Defence is important, but stopping the US going over a cliff  is more important, the Oval would never agree to real cuts, thus it has been forced to go along with its own plan.   Lets hope the Republican House demand more cuts, it should take Government spending back to 2008, the last time this blog looked the US had not fallen apart even with the near banking collapse, thus a win so far for the Republican House, there is hope for them folks.
