This is either coming from the White House or Trump officials in the Defence Department are wanting to get bonus points with Trump.  This is a bad idea, the Democrats have jumped to attack Trump and the Republicans will have to defend it before the Mid Terms in November.  The original name was to honour an African - American Naval hero of Pearl Harbour 1941.  The honour is well deseved, Trump should rule it out, he is trying to change Washington D.C to honour him, Trump is delusional and needs someone to show him reality.

Trump rules out 3rd Term - Update

This will disappoint the Elite Liberal Media, TV and Press, it has been a running theme in their background that Trump is a Fascist and would be tyrant.  Trump knows he cannot legally go for a 2nd term.  The only way he could remain President would be if there was WW3, a conflict with Russia that went nuclear, Trump would not do that as he likes to play golf to much, and he would be stuck in a nuclear bunker! Thus 2028 it will be fresh Candidates for the Presidency, and no Trump, that will drive him crazy, the media spotlight will be off him.

Buckingham Palace will be used for official purposes but the King and Queen will live at Clarence House, the former home of the Queen Mother.  The King also declared his tax returns, this blog is for openess, but that should have been kept quite.  Never give the Republicans arrows to throw; they will use them! This would be a mistake by POTUS, one can think of a few Republicans and Democrats who would be opposed to the deal, to the hawks it will be seen as a massive blunder and mistake by Trump by folding to Iran.  On the Democratic side they will just oppose because its TRUMP and that he went to War with Iran in the first place.  The Trump Oval should recall its the Mid Terms in a few months time, what if the MoU is defeated, what then, and what if Israel keeps its troops in Lebanon, will they be attacked and how will they respond.  The Trump World might face the real World, and show how deluded the President of the United States is at the moment.

Never Give a Blank Cheque to Israel- Historical Lesson

Any one with knowledge of history knows the example of the German Empire giving a blank cheque to the Austrian - Hungary in 1914, to attack Serbia and leading to the WW1 and the fall of the German, Russian, Austrian - Hungary Empires.  If Trump can control Israel then he might get a deal with Iran.  This means appeasing Tehran and Hezbollah, the Trump Oval needs the Strait of Hormuz open as to lower gas prices and lower inflation, if wants a chance of keeping the House and Senate in Republican hands, other wise stalled government and Impeachment for the last two years of the Trump term.

Thus we come to the escalation trap as mentioned in the last post, does Trump throw Israel under the bus and order that they leave Lebanon or does he resume attacks.  The last thing Trump wants is to be seen as a LOSER, he needs to support Israel or the Hawks on the Republican side in the US Congress will savage him in public, even the Democrats would attack him.  Time for Trump to find his inner Reagan and stand up to Iran their threats.

President Trump is feeling the heat of the WAR he started, there is economy and the rise in gas and groceries due to inflation, this is hitting Republican chances in the Mid Terms in November, if the Democrats take the House and Senate one can expect endless investigations and another Impeachment case before the Senate.  Then 2028 Presidential cycle starts, poor people of Iowa and NH will have endless candidates visiting.

These conditions the Trump Oval could never accept, it would make Trump a BIG LOSER in US and World Terms.  Is Tehran trying to sink any memorandum of Understanding before any deal.  Are the hardliners trying to assert control of the process, they also want the US to lift sanctions. The US hawks, Republicans in the US Congress would oppose such a deal and the Democrats would have a field day before the Mid Terms.  Trump must consider bombing Iran again.  The 2028 Presidential cycle will start soon, VP Vance must be worried about his chances of winning.

US Cabinet to meet at Camp David to discuss Iran - Update

Thus one hopes this is a REAL meeting, not just for PR.  One assumes that Trump wants the real views of the Cabinet on the proposed peace deal, the main points are a 60 day extension to the ceasefire, the US and Iran will lift the Blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, further talks on Iran's nuclear stockpile, talks on lifting US sanctions on Iran, ceasefire in Lebanon.  Also unfreezeing Iranian assets in banks.  This lack of specifics on the nuclear stockpile could cause problems with hawkish Republicans.  Trump wants Gulf States to join the Abraham Accords, they would recognise Israel.  This could cause problems in the Arab/Muslim States.  Thus the World waits to see if there is a peace DEAL.

No Rush on Iran Deal - Trump - Update

Is POTUS Feering a backlash from his DEAL with Iran with his fellow Republicans in the  US Congress, they have started to complain already, all he is getting is the Strait of Hormuz opened, this was the case before the war.  The idea that Iran will give up its nuclear stockpile is a BIG CON by Tehran.  They will play Trump, he is desperate to finish the WAR, he wants to be seen as a winner, not a fool.  Trump has lost his Presidential Credibility over Iran, they will be the winners, keeping their nuclear stockpile or dust as called by Trump.

The War Powers Act ( 1973 ) - Update

As the article notes the War Powers Act ( 1973 ) comes in effect on May 1st.  After that the US Administration needs Congressional approval for the War in Iran.  It should be noted that past Administrations while following the law have always said its against the US Constitution, what will the Congress do, on the whole the Republicans are supportive, while the Democrats not so.  The American people are against the War from polls taken in the US.

This is a very fair article from the left wing Guardian, Moderate Democrats might sink any invoking the War Powers Act of 1973, its the left of the Party who are pushing this move.  The American voters like to support their troops in ACTION, even if the LEFT do not.

The article notes that VP Harris will not run for Governor of California in 2026, thus it allows her to run again 2028, when Trump term comes to a near end with the Presidential Election in November.   This time there will be a real challenge for the Nomination, and Harris will be seen as a LOSER, after losing to Trump in 2024.  One can bet that Trump whoever he supports on the Republican side, will try and make her a two time LOSER.

This is what Trump and his base want, troops on the ground in Blue States, and the Bluest State is California, home of the Liberal media on the West Coast.  The US in 2024 voted for Trump to expel illegal immigrants from the US, thus this move by Trump.  Except more protest in Blue States, more US military on the ground, the political battle for 2028 has started.

US House Speaker Vote or Votes - Day 4 - Biden Era

This endless face of voting and voting has to come to an end, for once Former President Trump could be of use, he should threaten to support any candidate that challenges the Republican Rebels if they do get a move on.  It seems that Kevin McCarthy will have no power if he gets the gavel, he is making concessions ALL OVER THE PLACE.  The role of Speaker is only as powerful as the Speaker, if the Speaker can be thrown out at any time by any member it leads to chaos in the political process.  The Democrats do not get away from blame either, they could support some of their members getting to vote with the Republicans, no deals, just the right thing to do, think the TV show, West Wing on LSD, of course that will never happen, the costs are to much, and any deal like that would FALL apart as the Republicans still have 218 seats, a 4 seat majority.  Another long day then, get out the coffee. 

Biden FIXING the Democratic Nomination for himself in 2024 - Biden Era/Candidate for 2024

Lets Get Real:

This could be POTUS stacking the nomination process for himself, as stated above Biden did not do well in Iowa and New Hampshire in 2020, this could be POTUS creating a field for himself should he run, but also getting even with these two states.  The problem might be down the road, on the Democratic Side, the good people of IOWA and NEW HAMPSHIRE might decide to jump the Biden calendar,  and have their time in the SUN.  Also overall the people of these States might vote for the Republican Nominee who respect their right to be at the head of the calendar in 2024.  If POTUS does not run ( he will run, otherwise why FIX the Field ) the other candidates might want these two States to keep their position, it might help them win in that State, thus in 1980 Bush 41 won Iowa, but Reagan took New Hampshire and won from there on.  The 2024 has started with this latest development, while Trump is burning his nomination attempt before it starts.
