POTUS on 40% Approval - Gallup - 2nd Term Blues

Gallup: Reports on its latest poll on the job approval for President Obama, today POTUS has a " 40% Approval Rating, while 51% of Americans Disapprove of the Obama record ".

Lets Get Real:

This is what happens when people tune you OUT, the Obama Presidency might never recover from the disaster that was the rollout of ObamaCare, those that bought their health cover on the individual market were thrown off their cover, nearly six million Americans lost cover, and also lose their Doctor and local hospital, this year those that get their health cover from their employer face either higher charges to keep their cover or be forced to buy ObamaCare.   The FACT that over twenty thousand Americans who made appeals after going on to ObamaCare might as well throw tea out of tent, the computer to deal with their problems has not been built yet.     All these problems will come up  before the 2014 Mid Terms, Democrats will have to choose soon, do they rough it out with the Oval or do they throw the Oval under the bus, time is running out for the Democrats, Republican groups are already starting negative adverts in Red States were there are Democrats in Congress, either ObamaCare starts to work or the Dems face a tough choice. 

No US Immigration Reform before 2014 Mid Terms - Speaker Boehner

BBC News: Reports why Speaker Boehner has turned his back on Immigration reform, " Mr Boehner blamed the inaction on scepticism that US President Barack Obama would properly enforce such reforms. "

Lets Get Real:

This is a mistake by Republicans, Ronald Reagan in 1984 stated that he approved of amnesty for those illegals in the US, yes the 1986 Immigration Reform Act had its flaws, but at least the Republicans had a chance to gain traction in those Communities affected by reform, also lets get real, within a few decades White Anglo Protestants (  WASPS ) will be a minority within the US, the Democrats are playing smart politics for the long term, the Republicans might be able to keep the House and even the Senate in play but they might never again hold the Oval Office. After the Mid Terms the Republicans have to come up with a way for illegals to become US Citizens in the long term, yes the Democrats will gain the short term, but the issue will be off the table, and the Republicans can start to attract ethnic voters based on sound Conservatives policies, of small government, low taxes, big defence spending, and Conservative Judges on the bench.  

ObamaCare HITS the Working Poor - 2nd Term Blues

Lets Get Real:

It can be argued that President Obama is trying to follow France, it reduce the number of hours it workers could work thus the reason that the present French economy is in a mess,  thus if your poor and want to work you lose your health benefits, thus ObamaCare is creating a European style welfare state in the US, people are better off poor, not working with no savings, and US interest rates are under the water and will be so for years.   The problem for the Democrats is that the next Democratic nominee either has to carry the Obama banner and face losing or find a way to distance their campaigns from this mess, thus stage left we have Hillary Clinton, who should keep being a non candidate as long as possible, in 2016 the Clinton Campaign might need to dump all over President Obama to WIN, and the Clinton's like winning.  Fun time if your a Republican. 

That Fox News Interview with President Obama - 2nd Term Blues

Telegraph: Reports the following on the Fox Interview, " The president traded barbs with interviewer Bill O'Reilly in a live interview that covered the 2012 attacks on the US diplomatic mission in Libya. ".

Lets Get Real: 

The President's either thinks he is telling the truth, which would be a major worry or he does not care that his Administration and himself lied to the US people and the UN that the attack was down to a film,  the only reason for the LIE was the fact that POTUS had stated that Al Qaeda was on the run and near death and that he had saved the US Car industry, well Al Qaeda and its franchise groups are alive and well in Syria, Iraq and Africa, and Obama is sending mixed signals, on the one hand he using drones to kill the Al Qaeda terrorists but on the other hand is stating that Al Qaeda is no longer a threat to the US homeland.   This is the reason that the US is not trusted by former US allies in the Middle East, the spin is more important to POTUS than the truth, we have another three and half years of this kind of rubbish spin, lets hope the US voter elects a President who sees the real World in 2016. 

The Guardian vs. Fox News - 2nd Term Blues

Guardian: Reports that Fox News will show the 2nd part of Bill O' Reilly's interview with President Obama tonight on the Factor, the article notes the following, " O’Reilly’s job is to get the president to comment on the Fox News product. His viewers apparently mistake that product – intricate misreadings of national and international affairs – for news coverage. ..".

Lets Get Real:

The above is false, Mr O' goes after everyone on his show, Republican or Democrat, in fact one can say that the Factor on the whole gives President Obama the benefit of the doubt, more than this blog would, the Guardian the most left wing national paper in the UK can not see through its own bias towards anything on the left.    Fox News and Mr O' should consider going after the paper in the Courts, one could almost call the above slander.   In the first part of the interview the questions were about ObamaCare and the attack on the US Consulate in Libya, on ObamaCare the President was in spin mode, its getting better, no need to fire anyone, while on Libya the President did not see that three attacks on US interests in Libya as a PLAN, he seems to have fallen  in to the trap of following his own spin.  No wonder Obama has taken a political hit in the polls, he has lost the plot, if ever understood the plot in the first place. 

The US and the Ukraine - 2nd Term Blues

Telegraph: Reports on US policy towards the protesters in the Ukraine, " John Kerry to meet Ukrainian opposition leaders in Germany ".

Lets Get Real:

Thus the US Secretary of State John Kerry IS finally doing something about the Ukraine, he has waited long enough, one does wonder does the Oval have Kerry on a lead, that is the problem when you make someone like Kerry your Secretary of State, Kerry is a War hero, was Lt Governor of his State, was a US Senator and was the Democratic nominee for President in 2004, he has his own political base.   It can be argued its better to appoint someone who does not have his political base within the Party and in his dreams thinks he should be in the Oval.  The Obama Administration has to be careful that it does not push to hard, the Kremlin has a vast interest in the Ukraine, if Putin thinks that the US is trouble making in his own backyard he could cause problems with Syria and Iran.   The Oval has to be careful, and keep an eye on Kerry, just in case he is free lancing for himself and not for the Oval Office. 

The Truth and the Obama Administration

Guardian: Reports on remarks by President Obama defending his Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, the article notes the following, " Obama admits intelligence chief fault over false Senate testimony..President continues to defend James Clapper in the face of calls for his resignation after 'untruthful' statement about bulk collection ".

Lets Get Real:

On this issue the DNI was right to lie to Congress and the Oval is right in defending him, on the whole the Obama Administration has a fickle understanding of telling the truth but the data collection was rightly protected by the DNI, Obama understands that he needs the NSA to keep him informed of any THREAT to the US, if he curtails the NSA and something happens, the people wont blame themselves, the liberal elite press will turn on Obama and ask why he did not defend the US.   On the issue of intelligence the US has to bug everyone so it knows what it does not need to know, thus the millions of texts from around of the World that is picked up by the NSA.   The President has to stand up to the Congress on this issue, he can not fold, he can not give way, he has to protect the  US, thus hat off to the Oval.
