Lets Get Real:

The late Presidents Kennedy and Reagan must be turning in their graves, an American President has removed troops from Syria and welcomes that the Russians are taking over.  The OLD Republican Party of Reagan was about strong national security, the Trump Republican Party is about appeasing the enemy and not supporting US allies.   At their debate last night the Democrats sounded more hawkish than Trump, let's get real, if asked in 1975 would these candidates have supporting keeping troops in Southern Vietnam, many hundreds of thousands of US allies were left in the Country when the LIBERAL US Congress cut off monies to help Southern Vietnam fighting, while it was a LIBERAL Congress that cut off military support to the Contra freedom fighters in Nicaragua.   The Democrats are only hawks in name only, do you really trust them with US security, look at Obama taking US troops out of Iraq and the formation of Daesh, the US has to send troops back in to Iraq.   The World needs US leadership, thus far neither Republicans or Democrats seem to get that message.

Lets Get Real:

Thus we have the Trump Administration going after Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua, this shows how Presidents Kennedy and Reagan were right when they focused on Cuba and Nicaragua, if the US had gone ALL in Cuba when Kennedy was in Office then they would not have supported Nicaragua and Venezuela in the 1980s and now in 2019.  The CIA should be funding Opposition groups to these tyrannical Socialist Countries, they are a threat to the region and to the Americas.   If Reagan has been supported in his support for the Contra Freedom fighters by the Democrats then Nicaragua would be in better shape, the US took its eye off the ball in the 1990s, with the end of the Cold War, the Oval Office did not see Cuba and Nicaragua as a THREAT, they were then and NOW.   These Communist Countries are a cancer on the heart of LATIN AMERICA, there neighbours should take some action with the support of the West.   The Russians are building up their forces in Venezuela, the US has to combat this with HEAVY SANCTIONS to force the corrupt and left wing Government OUT.  The US needs another JFK or Reagan in the Oval Office, they knew how to deal with these threats to US National Security.

This is typical of the left, when things get difficult they bail, the left  mocked Reagan when he called the USSR an Evil Empire and when he called on President Gorbachev to tear down the Berlin Wall, the left in the US and UK were opposed to the Reagan taking on the USSR in the 1980s, they just wanted an easy life and to appease the USSR.  Reagan understood the need to get his hands dirty, supporting freedom fighters from Afghanistan to Nicaragua, the man in the Oval has to expect to take decisions that the left will hate, on the whole the left has not gone after Obama when it comes to Egypt, but should the death toll raise expect the left to call for Morsi to be released and given back the Presidency, no matter that Morsi was removing Egyptian Democracy and was no friend of liberals.   The left is WEAK, lets hope the the Oval is stronger, the left are NEVER right when it comes to foreign policy, if the left had been in charge in the 80s the Berlin Wall would still be up, some on the left still think the USSR was a good idea, yes folks they are that far gone.

This blog goes by the old view that if you cant not say something nice do not say a thing, Chavez was an extreme left wing leader, his friends were Cuba, Nicaragua and Iran, he destroyed the economic structure of Venezuela, its only oil that is keeping the Country going, Chavez will not be missed, it will give Venezuela the chance to rejoin the International System, Chavez was a major league, add your add own insult folks. 

Ronald Reagan and the Modern Republican Party

The New York Times: A interesting debate on IF Ronald Reagan was around today would he get the Republican Nomination.

Lets Get Real:

It is simple folks, there are few Presidents you would walk in to hell and back for, Reagan is one of them, next would be President Kennedy. By their rhetoric they inspired, Kennedy with his call for action for a new 60s generation and Reagan calling the USSR an Evil Empire, they both believed in tax cuts and a strong defence, they both had a fondness for using the CIA, in the Kennedy case it was Cuba, in the Reagan case it was supporting the Contra Freedom Fighters. The real dream fight would have been a Reagan vs. Kennedy fight, both at the height of their powers, that would have been a fight to blog on folks, that would have been a real privilege, Those kind of leaders don't come around that often folks.

Tehran Today

The Times: Reports on the failure of the dissent movement today in Iran, on the anniversary of the 1979 Revolution the Tehran Regime owned the street, that ownership was through violence but they won. The Green movement has to decide does it want to win, it can only win by armed unrest, it has to take up arms, the Obama Administration should funnel arms to those in dissent in Iran. The CIA as it did in the 80s in Nicaragua should cause havoc to the economy of Iran, also the CIA should support a Government in Exile, fund it and make sure they have one aim, the destruction of the Tehran Regime. The day Iran gets the bomb the game changes, it will be like North Korea, the Obama Administration will have no choice but to talk under threat of blackmail, but the difference between Korea and Iran is Israel, Israel will not allow a nuclear armed Iran, thus that will leave two bad choices for Obama, either Israel takes action or the USA will have to attack Iran. That simple and brutal folks.

This shows that President Obama does not understand US National Security, did President Lincoln follow the rule of law, like hell, to protect the Union he simple suspended parts that didn't work, FDR placed Americans of Japanese decent in Camps, Truman dropped the nuclear bomb, JFK supported the CIA in its invasion of Cuba, also the Kennedy Administration gave the green light to the overthrow of Diem in Vietnam. Nixon supported the overthrowing of the Chilean Government. Carter after the invasion of Afghanistan supported the rebels, with money and weapons. Reagan supported this policy and also went after the Communist Government in Nicaragua. and those are just some of the recent highlights. Obama thinks he still in some University Seminar room. Lets hope the Congress has the pulse of the public and reminds the President that they are a equal branch of Government, lets force Obama to keep Gitmo open and take the political heat, he might learn that sometimes a President has to get the low level of approval ratings before he becomes a great President, Reagan in the first term got down to the thirty percent in approval rating, he left office with a 63% approval rating.

Israel ready to attack Iran

The Times: Reports that the Israeli military is ready to attack Iran when its given the green light. If the approach that Obama is talking at the minute to Iran and North Korea is any guide then Israel should hit Iran hard now, Obama seems to think he is in some 80s seminar, he was taking notes when the President of Nicaragua was attacking US Foreign Policy. Thus by the grace of God, and to protect Israel and Western Security do what has to be done, ATTACK IRAN please Israel, the West cant wait for Obama to learn that he is POTUS.

New USA - Obama Style

Fox News: Reports that President Obama had to tolerate an attack on the US Foreign Policy by the President of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega. The regime of Ortega was an old enemy of Ronald Reagan, Obama from the report seems to think that US Foreign Policy starts with him , bit like Khmer Rouge and their year zero. Obama has to learn that he is the President of the United States, this is not some seminar discussion. The Ortega attack would include JFK and Reagan and most US Presidents. The Obama view that since he is now President that he has no connection to the past shows why the UK should worry about Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Obama year dot view does recall the 1997 New Labour view, thus we saw Tony Blair run us in to a War in Iraq and make the House a Commons a rubber stamp. Obama should have come out fighting and defended JFK and Reagan, he has to recall that Reagan become heroic in part by invoking great Presidents. It seems Obama is reading his own press statements, that Star of Berlin last year has decided like Tony Blair that the past does not matter, the past does matter Mr President, its Liberal types like you that would have kept the Berlin Wall Up.

Modern Pirates

The New York Times: Reports that talks between the US Navy and modern Somali Pirates that are holding a US hostage have broken down. Lets hope the West Wing is keeping this to below Presidential level, Jimmy Carter had the hostages in Iran and Reagan had the hostages held in Lebanon. Carter allowed Iran to twist him the wind, he lost his re-election bid in 1980, Reagan allowed his concern for the hostages to move the Administration to talk to Iran, thus Iran - Contra, the selling of arms to Iran and the money being divert to the Contra freedom fighters of Nicaragua. The USA should have one message to the modern pirates, you have one hour to release the hostage or will you blow you out of the water, if you kill the hostage will blow you out of the water. The message should be that simple, any money given or freedom for the pirates will show that Obama is even more weak than he looks now, this is another test for President Obama.
