This is the LAST throw of the dice by Senator Cruz and Governor Kasich, if it does not work then Trump will be the Republican Nominee, and it has been suggested that a Trump ticket would lose as big as Barry Goldwater lost in 1964 to LBJ.    Let's recall the only bright spot of the Goldwater Campaign was the birth of Ronald Reagan as a serious candidate for 1968, 1976 and finally winning in 1980.   Thus from the ruins of 2016 we might to see a 2nd Reagan come along, not holding my breath but it is a hope.

Thus more racist remarks by the Donald, one does really wonder what is happening to the Republican Party, Ike and Ronald  Reagan must be turning in their graves at the thought of Trump in THEIR Oval Office.   The Democrats should have an easy victory in November, IF Trump wins then the most darkest aspects of the American character will be on show for the World.   Thus HRC has to move to the centre, from there she can win the Presidency. 

Special Forces for Syria - Daesh War

BBC News: Reports " President Barack Obama says he is to send up to 250 more special forces troops to Syria to support local militias in the fight against so-called Islamic State (IS). "

Lets Get Real:

The Oval Office can call the troops whatever it wants, as long as US Special Forces are there to fight Daesh and train the local rebels, even if the battles in Syria are confusing, as to whom is fighting whom.   The Obama slow policy has worked, one should always give credit when its due, the Oval has taken its time, those caught up in the 24/7 news cycle wanted faster action, the best action is action that is considered.   Let's see what happens with the extra troops.

Lets Get Real:

The left wing Establishment always use the race card when it comes to attacks on President Obama, in the case of the EU they understand that POTUS is on thin ice, the norm is for Foreign Governments to be neutral during internal elections.   Thus one can expect that Boris Johnson to be attacked by the BBC and the Guardian, they understand that he would be a popular leader to take over from PM David Cameron when he leaves, thus they want to punch holes his leadership before he comes PM.    This blog has not covered the EU vote that much, it's early, there are weeks to go, it has not even made a firm decision on how to vote, thus being told by POTUS how to vote is irksome in the extreme and not good politics for the Oval Office.

With all due respect to POTUS, he should keep his nose out of UK internal affairs. The UK does not go on about the level of African - Americans in US jails or the level of gun violence in the US.   It is up to the UK voter to decide ALONE on the role of the UK in the EU.   The President is a lame duck President, IF the UK votes to leave the EU, the issue will be up to the next President.   The President should be concerned about the Middle East and the threat from Daesh.

On this policy HRC and the Democrats are right, there needs to be a tough law on the owning of guns, in fact outside of the Police Force, the Army and Sport events NO American should have a need of a private gun.   If you remove the guns from the civic society and from daily use then guns will not be the first answer to problems.   NEED FOR TOUGH GUN LAWS. 

Troops for Iraq - Daesh War

Lets Get Real:

IF only President Obama had done this at the start, it would have prevented the growth of Daesh in Syria and Iraq, the City of Mosul would have been kept out of the hands of Daesh, now that City has to be fought over, in the wait Daesh has been able to create numerous IED's in Mosul, also they will make it hard for the Iraqi/US forces to fight house to house, street to street, one can hardly use Apache attack helicopters in close city quarters.    The fight of Mosul has just began, it will be bloody and has to be successful.
