Prediction - No Strike on North Korea THIS Weekend - North Korea Crisis

I hope I do not regret this prediction: 

CNN - Politics: Reports " President Donald Trump arrived for another weekend at his languid Florida resort on Thursday, this time without the usual retinue of top aides who have accompanied him in the past, even as global tensions flare. "

Lets Get Real:

THERE will not be US strike this weekend, based on the above report a US President would not leave Washington D.C at a strike time that could lead to a full scale War in Asia, a US strike would lead to a strikes by North Korea on the South, while also targeting Japan.   Another factor is that the US VP is in Country, to visit the US troops who are there to protect South Korea.  Thus we should be able to have a quiet Easter Weekend.  Of course should North Korea test a nuclear device or try an ICBM then the US could react after the weekend.

Lets Get Real:

Thus WHAT will China do, it does not want a united Korea under the US influence, on the other hand does it want to bail out North Korea in till the end of the time, its buying US bonds, and we are talking of trillions in debt, and it must now fear that it could  have a mass refugees crisis on its hands.   The question that China must ASK, is a united peaceful Korea, a power house for business not a good outcome.   The North removed as a poor brother and united with the South could make Korea and China more richer.   One is sure that China has thought about this, they think in Centuries not just next Friday.   Thus one can only hope that Beijing is thinking forward not backwards.

Is China really worried, one still doubts that the US would strike first, that was the report on NBC News last night, but reports from Fox News states that there is no plan for a First US Strike should North Korea do another nuclear test.   The question is who is bluffing, the Trump Administration has shown a firm hand over the past few days, it has struck Syria as a warning to the Assad Regime over the use of WMD, and has bombed Daesh in Afghanistan with the Mother Of All Bombs, so would it strike North Korea, lets recall the South Korean Capital is close to North Korean border, the North Koreans have a million man Army, does the US want to fight a land war in Asia, while it is fighting Daesh in Syria and Afghanistan.   One suggests that the leaders in ALL Countries read the excellent Guns of August about the lead up to WW1.  Out of ten this blog thinks there is a 2/10 chance of War. 

Japan WARNS about North Korea and Sarin - North Korean Crisis

Lets Get Real:

South Korea and Japan will be on alert this weekend, it is expected that North Korea will will have another nuclear test, or even combine it with an ICBM test, this would not go down well the US.   IF and its a capital IF, the North Koreans have a successful test of their ICBM it could force the US under Trump to react, the Oval Office has made it clear that any such development would lead to US strike.   Of course North Korea could just be posturing, it might want more food aid from the US, or extra support from China.   One would find it hard to see a North Korea strike the South or threaten the Japan, the US would wipe them out, and China would have a major refugee problem on its hands.    Thus expect a lot of posturing this weekend from all sides, let's hope North Korea is not CRAZY.

Trump plays HARDBALL with Democrats over ObamaCare

CNN - Politics: Reports " President Donald Trump is threatening not to reimburse health insurers for covering low income people as a way of forcing Democrats to the negotiating table on health care. "

Lets Get Real:

It could be argued that this is unfair to the insurers and their customers, but it can also be argued that this is the ONLY way to deal with LIBERAL DEMOCRATS.  The Oval Office needs to get health care reform through as a way to cut taxes.   Thus President Trump should pull the plug, force the Democrats to come to the table, the elite liberal media will go through the roof, but then they are no friends of President Obama, it Washington D.C you have to deal the hard way sometimes, that is a lesson POTUS is learning after the first failure to get health care through.   The Oval Office should read the Presidential histories of LBJ, Reagan and Bill Clinton, the art of the deal is not science but art.

Fox News: Reports " The Trump administration is weighing the possibility of imposing additional sanctions on North Korea if the rogue nation continues to fire missiles or conducts its sixth nuclear test. "

Lets Get Real:

It is expected that this weekend that North Korea will test a nuclear test, its to celebrate the birth of its founder, of course they could try the nuclear test combined with an ICBM test, thus it is interesting that the US has placed an aircraft carrier in the Sea of Japan, if North Korea tests an ICBM that is seen as a threat to Japan or US interests the US can take it down.  Also North Korea will have noticed that the US has hit Syria and hit IS hard in Afghanistan with the mother of bombs, a non nuclear device that is good at hitting caves, the type of defence used by North Korea.   Thus watch this space over the weekend, tensions will be up in Asia.

Lets Get Real:

The War in Afghanistan has been going on since 9/11, thus through the Presidencies of Bush 43 and President Obama.   The War in Afghanistan is endless, there will never be a clear win, it is good that the UK got out in 2014.   The Americans  have the men/technology and the money to pay for the War, they can keep IS,Al Qaeda or the Taliban from winning.   The geography of Afghanistan leads itself to endless War, very much like Vietnam.   The Western Alliance of NATO can bring hope to the people of Afghanistan, but at the end of the day its up to the people of Afghanistan to win this war on their own terms.
