The Obama White House and the Clinton Emails - 2016 Race

The New York Times: Reports that President Obama only learned last week that Hillary Clinton was using her own email service, the article notes the following, " ...the White House has refused to say whether they believe that Mrs. Clinton violated any administration policies or broke any laws by conducting all of her business with a private email address. "

Lets Get Real:

One has to question IF President Obama is serious about the job of being President, one can assume that he got and sent emails to his Secretary of State, would you not see that the address was not a government email, did the Director of the CIA send any secret emails to the State Department, the issue of how secure the Clinton emails has come up, one can assume that North Korea, China, Iran, Russia and Israel through the Mossad would have checked to see how secure the Clinton email server was, did the NSA give the Clinton server its okay to get secret emails etc.   The Clintons have to answer serious questions on the threat to national security they created by using their own emails.    IF it comes out that it was breached then the Clinton Campaign is finished before it gets startred.   This is a developing story.

CNN - Politics: Reports on how the Obama Administration has been forced to defend Hillary Clinton over her emails, the article notes the following, " ..much of the task of responding to the growing email controversy has fallen to the White House and the State Department. Not surprisingly, top officials within the Obama administration are privately complaining staffers are simply spending too much energy on the matter. "

Lets Get Real:

The Obama staffers who are annoyed at the Clinton Campaign better get used to it, the Clinton camp is a followng a strategy of saything nothing, allowing the Obama Oval to take the heat.  The Oval Office and the staff  have to careful, from the end of the year as you go in to the primary fight you will find that the White House gets lets attention, the attention will be on Iowa and NH, the White House staff could run naked around the White House and they would get know attention as the political reporters will be in the cold of Iowa, with the two campaigns.   Also the very staff that are annoyed with the Clintons will want a job with with them should Hillary Clinton win, the Clintons have long memories, so staff should say nothing in public or private, the Obama's after 2017 will be gone back to Chicago and a new Clinton Era would start in D.C.

Telegraph: Reports " Several Democrat activists told The Telegraph they were actively trying to recruit challengers to their party’s frontrunner to ensure that there was at least a semblance of a competition. "

Lets Get Real:

Lets think outside the box, should Hillary Clinton want more time with her family, who could the Democrats run and who could get the money to fund a campaign, well there is Senator Warren, she is the darling of the left wining of the Democratic Party, but she is no Obama, what might work in Northern liberal States will go down like a brick in the fly over States.   Then who else, lets consider VP Biden, ( please stop laughing ) he is the Vice - President, it could be expected that Obama would support his nomination, as Biden would carry on with the liberal agenda of the Obama years.   The flaw in this argument is VP Biden, the man has his foot in mouth nearly all the time, he comes across as likable  if a bit foolish.  As the sitting VP could get the money for his campaign, and the liberal left would support him, the problem might be that he does not sell in the fly over States.   Thus back to Hillary Clinton, it has to be Hillary!.

Guardian: Reports " Democrats clamor for credible Clinton challenger in wake of email revelations..Hillary Clinton is 44 points clear of Joe Biden, but some Democrats are starting to worry an untested primary would leave her vulnerable, since ‘We don’t do coronations’ "

Lets Get Real:

The LEFT of the Democratic Party will never be happy with Hillary Clinton, they saw the Clinton years of the 1990s as the Democrats  moving to the middle, they want a nominee like Senator Warren who is anti business, wants to control the economy.   This blog has stated that if the Republicans nominate anyone but Jeb Bush it would support Hillary Clinton, a Hillary agenda on the domestic front will be center left, while it can be expected that Hillary Clinton will be a tougher President than President Obama when it comes to foreign policy.  A Biden or Warren nomination would be like a sling shot around the Sun at sub light speed, the result your toast.  The Democrats will be defeated in 2016 if they nominate anyone but Hillary.

The Washington Post: Has the following editorial on the Clinton email scandal, " Ms. Clinton essentially privatized her e-mail,reserving to herself the decision of what should be in the record. ...Ms. Clinton’s use of private e-mail shows poor regard for that public trust. "

Lets Get Real:

Thus the liberal NYT and then semi liberal Washington Post are going after Hillary Clinton, one doubts that the Clintons would  have given thousands of emails to the State Department and left something in them that could blow up the Clinton Campaign.   The worry is that the House Select Committee might press the issue and demand that the Clintons hand over their ALL their emails and the server in the House of Bill and Hillary Clinton.   How ever you spin the email story it is not good, it gives the impression that there are different laws if your the Clintons.    The Obama White House so far is not running to the rescue, lets see how the email scandal changes the game for the Democratic nomination, this scandal has all the feel of the 1990s again, do Democrats want years of Clinton scandals, it might be time for a fresh face, with no political scandals.

Fox News: Reports " The White House counsel's office reportedly was kept in the dark about Hillary Clinton's exclusive use of personal email while secretary of state, in the latest detail raising questions over how and why she stayed off the government system despite administration guidance to the contrary.  "

Lets Get Real:

The Obama White House is keeping its distance from the latest Clinton scandal, although Bill Clinton helped re-elect President Obama in 2012, political favours have a short political life.  If this gets messy expect the Obama Oval to dump on the Clintons.   The Obama Oval has enough problems, between, Iraq, Syria , Iran and Israel, it can not afford to bailout the Clinton Campaign, also this mess might help the White House dreams of VP Biden, yes its that ironic!  The Clintons needs to get Hillary Clinton out there, talking to reports and answering questions that will cool the political water. No one said running for President was easy. 

What Emails has Hillary Clinton KEPT - Part 3 - 2016 Election

The New York Times: Reports on the process that the Hillary Clinton camp decided to use when giving emails to the US State Department, the article notes the following, " But her aides have declined to describe the process by which they selected which emails to hand over and which to hold back, and public records experts have expressed alarm that Mrs. Clinton’s correspondence was not being preserved as part of the State Department record-keeping system while she was in office. "

Lets Get Real:

The liberal NYT is really going after Hillary Clinton, the paper wants another President Obama or Senator Warren to run, the Clintons are seen as to close to the business Establishment,  also it can be argued that that Hillary Clinton would have a tougher foreign policy, this is not on the agenda of the extreme liberal NYT.   The press will be looking for scandal in these emails, did the Clintons use the email to get donations to their charity, what did Hillary Clinton do with the Libyan emails, are they all there, of the emails that Hillary Clinton has kept who looked at them and how are they stored.   This email scandal might not be fatal for the Clinton Campaign but if there are other scandals it could destroy the Hillary Clinton in the general election.
