The Democrats KEEP the SENATE - Mid Terms - Biden Era/2024 Cycle Starts

BBC News: Reports " The Democrats will retain majority control of the US Senate after winning a pivotal race in the state of Nevada.....Republicans could still take control of the US House of Representatives as votes continue to be tallied... "

Lets Get Real:

The Mid Terms were a rebuke for Donald Trump and the Republican Party, the Trump has destroyed the national security, low taxes, small government agenda of Ronald Reagan, a great President.  The Republicans could still take the House, but his blog is not counting on that, the results so far have been dire for the Republicans.  On the whole POTUS can smile, the best result a President has had in decades, but, and there is always a BUT, the Democrats have to worry if Biden is heads the ticked in 2024 and the Republicans chose any one but TRUMP, this blog endorsed Hillary Clinton in 2016 and Joe Biden in 2020, if the Republican Party can get its ACT TOGETHER, then this blog might look again at the Republicans.  POTUS has a 40% approval rating, the US has high inflation, and wages are not matching inflation.  POTUS should have LOST THE CONGRESS, the US voter did not trust the Republicans in charge and under the influence of Trump, thus the vote in the Mid Terms for the Democrats.  Both Parties have a lot of soul searching to do before 2024.

Surrender Terms for Putin from the West ? - Ukraine - Russian War - Biden Era

Daily Mail: Reports " Putin 'has been offered surrender terms by the West' as he loses control of Kherson - and 'his cronies have reacted positively because it allows them to stay in power and avoid criminal charges'...Plan would see Russia give up all territory in Ukraine except Crimea, which would become demilitarised zone  "

Lets Get Real:

One doubts that Putin would agree to such a DEAL, he would be finished in Russia, how will he explain the deaths and wounding of at least a hundred thousand soldiers.  This is the kind of number that is HARD TO COVER UP, and the idea that he would give up the Crimea is for the birds, Putin invaded the Crimea in 2014 and he sees CRIMEA as the real part of Russia, it was only given to the Ukraine in 1954 as a matter of friendship.  Also the Ukraine was part of the USSR, thus Russia was the USSR in political terms.  Of course Putin might want to take such a DEAL, the sanctions would go away, and he could rebuild his Army, the destruction of Russian Forces in the Ukraine has greatly damaged Russian stores of tanks etc, they are getting drones from another terrorist state, that being Iran, also North Korea is helping them out with ammo.  The War with the Ukraine has shown that Russia is no longer a superpower in the convention sense, it has nukes, but one hopes that never comes up for discussion in the Kremlin. 

KYIV Gov urges Russian Soldiers in Kherson to give up - Ukraine - Russian War - Biden Era

Ukraine urges Russian troops to give themselves up...

Moscow is saying its troops have left the city of Kherson, but Ukrainian officials appear suspicious. ....Reports have emerged of some troops being left behind during the withdrawal, with some changing into civilian clothing.   "

Lets Get Real:

The Russians have gotten out very fast, a bit to fast, it does leave one with the suspicion that Putin is up to something no good, he could use the new Russian positions to fire at Kherson day and night, he could have placed Russian Special Forces in Kherson to cause havoc when the Ukraine troops come in to the area.  Also we have to look at the extreme, that a dirty bomb could be tested in Kherson, on the logic, if Russian cannot have it, then the Ukraine Forces will have to deal with a radiation falling on them.  The Ukraine Forces will also have to deal with Russians who have not gotten over the river, will they fight or swim for it, thus can be taken out by Ukraine drones.  The Russia Bear is sneaky, it will react to this defeat, also Putin has to show that he is STRONG MAN, he will do something nasty in the future.  This is one of the worst moments in in Russian history, and that includes the USSR invasion of Afghanistan in 1979.

BBC News - Live Blog: Reports the following in its 1.47pm post, " Ukraine has hailed an "important victory" after Russian troops withdrew from the southern city of Kherson....In the centre of Kherson Ukrainian flags fly high above the regional administration building - it isn't fully clear who is in control in Kherson but the Ukrainian flags suggest Russian presence in the city is no longer visible  "

Lets Get Real:

The Ukraine Forces should be careful when they enter Kherson, there could be Russian Soldiers in ordinary clothes ready to shoot at them, also there might be mines placed around Kherson, it will take time to clear the City of these threats.  Also the Ukraine Forces should be ready for the Russian Forces to shoot missiles at Kherson from their new defence position, this is just over the Dnipro River, also one has to keep in mind that the Russians just might use a dirty bomb in Kherson, and try to blame the Ukraine Force.  One can see why the Biden Oval is trying to get the KYIV Gov to talk to Putin's Russia, the Russian leader might want a way out that it not a total disgrace, the Kyiv Government should be clear with the West that it will not be pushed around, the Ukraine Government wants ALL of its land back, and that includes the CRIMEA.  The Winter will come soon, then battles should cease due to the winter, the Russian Army will need to be rebuilt, the new troops should be trained before being sent in to battle.  The Ukraine Forces special forces should try to hit the Russians at their back, this is a long WAR OF ATTRITION.

While Russia has insisted for some time that it is keen to enter into negotiations with Ukraine, the news of its imminent withdrawal from Kherson casts the more recent statements in a different - and potentially more significant - light.  "

Lets Get Real:

At the start the Russians wanted to keep the areas they had invaded in the Ukraine, also the CRIMEA, that NATO would roll back and that new NATO members would be forced out of NATO.   The idea that Russians want REAL TALKS, is for the birds or appeasers in the Biden Oval.  There can only be two outcomes, either the West wins, e.g the Ukraine gets its land back, and that includes the Crimea or Putin wins.  Anything else is just giving what Putin wants, he is on the back foot, he might need a way out, he might be in a tight spot after leaving Kherson ( if that is a real withdrawal ) or will it be a justification for Putin to use a dirty bomb in the Ukraine.  Even Putin one assumes does not want to drop the BOMB on his own soldiers.  The Ukraine Forces are taking the fight to the Russians, why should they back down, if they make a mistake, they lose their Country, while Putin just adds more land to the his Great Russia mindset.  The West should not place pressure on the Ukraine to surrender. 

The Kherson FACTOR Part 2 - Ukraine - Russian War - Biden Era

BBC News: Reports " Russia's military has been ordered to pull out of the Ukrainian city of Kherson, the only regional capital it captured after invading in February....their decision to pull back across the Dnipro river was treated with caution by Ukrainian officials.  "

Lets Get Real:

The KYIV Government should be be very wary of this action by the Russians, it was done staged and public manner, it has been reported that Russian Soldiers have removed their uniforms in Kherson and have gone back to their civi clothes, this would allow them to shoot on in coming Ukraine Forces and then record the Ukraine Forces firing back at buildings.  The Russian Bear does not play by the rules of WAR, they have done horrid WAR CRIMES in the Ukraine, so this move could be a very smart faint, draw in Ukraine Forces and make them fight for every building in Kherson or declare that since Russian Forces have been removed and the people have been warned to leave, that Kherson is open to a free fire order.  The Ukraine Forces should send it Special Forces to check the area out, also use their drones to check on if they will be fired on if they entre Kherson. 

Republican House Control ? - US Mid Terms - Biden Era

NBC News: Reports  on its projection for control of the House, " Though NBC News cannot project control of the House at this time, the Decision Desk has released its estimate for the U.S. House of Representatives as a whole, which reflects the most probable outcome for partisan control.."

Lets Get Real:

In their projection based on the present vote the Republicans take the House my a very small majority, in fact 4 SEATS, thus the if the NEW Speaker is a Republican he will have to keep a tight control on is members.  It only takes four or five of them to join the other side on different issues for the majority to disappear.  One can assume that Ukraine funding is SAFE, the Democrats it would assume can count on old style National Security Republicans, not followers of Trump to support the AID from the US to the Ukraine.  Also with such a small majority it will survive for two years, people resign, get ill etc, thus the Democrats should be ready to take back control.  The Biden Oval will be very happy, if the results follow through this will be smallest loss by President in decades, one can assume that the Senate will go Democratic, either by Seats or by the VP have the final vote should it be a 50/50 split.  Thus the race for 2024 starts NOW, Biden might like his chances for re-election, even more so if the Republican nominee is Donald Trump, that would be a mistaken conclusion, two years is a long time, and Biden might lose support, thus POTUS really has to think, does he want a 2nd term, what if the Republicans chose the newly re-elected Governor of Florida, younger than Biden, more the Trump agenda, without the FLAWS of TRUMP.
