Shaking hands with a WAR CRIMINAL was BAD picture for the Chinese Leader, giving lethal aid to Russia would be a massive mistake, the US Administration might think there is a need to give more military support to Taiwan, the Chinese are playing a very dangerous game, they want Russia to force the US to weaken its military stock in the case that China decides to invade Taiwan, the US military would have a tough time supporting the Ukraine and Taiwan, the US is duty bound to protect Taiwan, thus the Biden OVAL would be in a hot war in Asia with China, and North Korea might try something with South Korea, the World could get very ugly fast, and it might happen this year or in the Presidential Election in 2024.  The Republicans leading candidates for the Republican nomination have made it clear that they do not support US lethal aid to the Ukraine.  If China thinks that a new Trump Administration might cut military support for the Ukraine and give it to Taiwan, thus it might be in China's interest to invade faster than they thought or planned for, the dotes are starting to link up, WW3 could be around the corner. It might be a good idea to buy that nuclear shelter.

Lets Get Real:

The ERG should do the Conservative Party and the Country a favour by voting for the Belfast Break to future EU rules, but also keeping eye on the Government when it comes to Brexit and EU rules.   The lawyers do what they paid to to, find problems, bit like Doctors, this blog does not like going to the Doctor, thus feels okay, who knows.  Thus you need a lawyer and Doctor when you are in real trouble, this Windsor Framework is not it.  A recent poll has found that the Conservatives have narrowed the Labour Lead to 10 points.  Let's be honest PM Sunak is not Boris, but has a bit more charisma that Sir Keir Starmer.   The Country has of late seen deals with the train and nurses on pay, thus less strikes, the the Country feels better, the ERG MPs should rally to the flag and support the Windsor Framework, give PM Sunak a  chance at the next election.

DUP a NO on the Windsor Framework - After Boris/After Brexit

The DUP are very hard to please, they will vote against part of the deal that allows them to block future EU regulation, they want to say No to past rules, they seem unable to accept that they won, that goes for the ERG too, it has been reported that Boris will not support the Government on this issue, Boris has dreams of coming back as leader of the Conservative Opposition should PM Sunak lose the 2024 general election.  The former PM will be lucky if he is found not guilty of not telling the truth  to the House and suspended, its is reported that the PM will Conservative MPs a free vote on the issue, with the Opposition supporting the decision and most Conservatives voting against him, Boris could find himself suspended from the House and face a recall election.   Thus more internal civil wars in the Conservative Party from Brexit to Boris, its never boring in UK politics.  The UK might like a boring Sir Keir in charge, be careful for what you wish for voters.

Are the Democrats trying to elect Donald Trump again to the Oval Office, the Prosecutor is a Democrat for goodness sake, the Democrats are really DUMB, this is what Trump wants, this is the first time a former US President will have been arrested, even Richard Nixon did not face that after his resignation in 1974 after the Watergate scandal.   The former President was pardoned by President Gerald Ford, then Oval Office President saw how much damage such a prosecution would bring to the Country.  It can be postulated that Ford lost a close election to Jimmy Carter in 1976 due to his decision, but looking back most historians agree it bought the Country together after Watergate, and thus the right decision, if Biden had an active brain  he would warn the US Prosecutor to back off, this will not be the case that makes his political bones or place pressure on the new New York Governor to pardon Trump before his arrest, Trump faces other more important charges, he has already put the martyr suit on, it would be the luck of the US if Trump while under charges gets himself re-elected President in 2024, a President is immune form prosecution while President, as President Trump could pardon himself, he has no shame.

This will make it difficult for any DEAL on the Ukraine War, what leader or leaders want to shake hands with Putin who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, it makes it hard for him to travel and makes HARD for any Democratic Elected Leader to do a DEAL.   The issuing of the warrant could cause some difficulties for the Republican candidates for the Republican Nomination in 2024, the two leading candidates have stated that the US should not no arm the Ukraine, are they going to shake the hands of a WAR CRIMINAL.  Thus those that argue that the way to end this WAR is through a DEAL, are missing a point, its not that kind of WAR, NATO cannot afford to lose this WAR, its WORD would be smashed to pieces, and if NATO did not react to Putin trying something with Poland or the Baltic States then NATO would be finished.   President Putin knows that the Russian people do not tolerate leaders who lose WARS.  Thus in less  Putin gets the whole of the Ukraine, he faces a coup or his mercenaries could turn on him, he would be finished as President of Russia.   It could be argued that Putin saw the Ukraine like Hitler saw Austria in 1938, that his troops would be welcomed and the Ukraine as Austria would be happy to be part of Germany/Russia.   The reality of course is the Ukraine fought back, ands is being supported by the US and the West, Putin must hope that Biden is defeated for re-election in 2024 and either Trump or a light Trump candidate is elected and changes US Foreign Policy.  This is going to be a VERY LONG WAR.

The OLD Fighter Jets from Poland and Slovakia will help but as commented on Sky News of late, they are OLD FIGTHER JETS, the Russians have the new ones, this is why the Ukraine is calling for the Western F-16.  The modern tanks are on the way from the West and the US, the Ukraine Forces are being trained by the West for their up coming offensive, also West has provided modern air cover to spot and shoot down drones and cruse missiles.   At the present the fight is going at Bakhmut, in the trenches and the wreaked city. As stated by this blog and others, Bakhmut has made itself a strategic importance, for the morale of the Ukraine people, and the Russians need a win, the mercenaries of the Wagner group as trying to show that they are the equal of the Russian military, thus far without much success.   This blog predicts that the Russians will try to escalate the  War, they downed a US Drone, and the pilots have been awarded medals from Moscow, the Russian President wants a one to one meeting with President Biden, he thinks he can better him, and wants to return to the COLD WAR, were the super powers decided the future of States, such as Yalta at the end of WW2.  Putin will not get such a meeting before the 2024 Presidential Election, shaking hands with a WAR CRIMINAL  is bad idea and a nightmare in image terms for the 24 election.  Who else will give the Ukraine planes, it will be an interesting development for the future.

The Russians have been shown to be 2nd rate liars, the Russian Fighter Jet hit the drone, before that it has throw petrol over it, the Russians were looking to bring it down.  In the case the West was lucky, it was drone that was bought down, not a place with a crew or a ship with crew, the West cannot be the lone adult in the room with a stroppy Russia.   One of these days the Russians will force the West to react, and then we could see the road to WW3.  The Russians have to be warned off, either through verbal communication or by the West showing that they will force to Russia to pay for its mistakes.  Thus far the the War in the Ukraine has been contained by the US and Russia, it only needs one mistake, for the World to come close for WAR.  The Russians have to wake up and contain the Russian Bear.
