UK and the US on the Northern Ireland Protocol - Post Brexit/G7

Lets Get Real:

The above tells us nothing, the PM is being diplomatic and also trying to get the issue out of the way, he does not want it to be the focus of the G7 meeting.  It will be interesting to see a readout of the US view of the meeting.   The G7 should try to form a policy for the rich countries to fund the vaccine for ALL of the people of the World.  What about North Korea etc, are the US going to send the vaccine there while that Regime is building a nuclear missile that can hit the US.  Even POTUS could not sell that to the American people.  After the G7, POTUS meets Putin, that will be interesting, this blog has predicted that Putin will eat Biden for breakfast, Biden might have been a Senator and former VP under Obama, while Putin is ALL KGB, he has seen Presidents come and go, if he thinks Biden is WEAK and a EMPTY SUIT, he will use that to place his military in the Ukraine.  Putin will miss the days of Trump, well he should if Biden is STRONG and FIRM.

Biden on the G7 Summit - Biden Era

The White House: Remarks by President Biden before the G7 Meeting, the President stated the following on his Agenda, " Strengthening the alliance and make it clear to Putin and to China that Europe and the United States are tight, and the G7 is going to move.  "

Lets Get Real:

After the disaster that was President Trump, POTUS needs to get the US back in the game, as in leading the West, he will want close ties with the EU, will want to make sure that the Good Friday Agreement is kept in place, as to Putin, why does this blog think that Putin will eat Biden for breakfast, he has been around since 2000, he has seen US Presidents come and go.   Trump bent over backwards to be nice to Putin, God only knows why, no normal President would have done that.   One hopes that Biden is tough on Putin, that the cyber attacks from Russia must be stopped, it does not matter if they are State sponsored or private groups, Moscow must do something, of course there will be discussions on the Ukraine and the Russian actions during the 2016 and 2020 Presidential Elections.   As for China, the Biden Oval will understand that China buys most of the US debt, so one cannot upset your banker to much, if China sold ALL it BONDS, the Western economy would go in to tail spin, China would be hurt, but they think long term.   Interesting G7 meeting coming up. 

When will the UK revoke the Northern Ireland Protocol ?- Post Brexit

BBC News: Reports " The EU says its patience is "wearing very thin" with the UK in talks aimed at avoiding a trade war over Northern Ireland border checks. "

Lets Get Real:

The UK should invoke Article 16 of the Northern Ireland Protocol, this allows for either the EU or the UK to revoke elements of the deal that are not working for the people of Northern Ireland.   The EU and the BBC/Sky News/Guardian types will not be happy if the UK does this, but let's recall that the EU started the ball rolling on this before it reversed itself.   Thus the EU broke the glass on this issue, thus the UK should use a legal part of the Protocol to send British Sausages and other cold meats to the province.   The Protocol as caused problems in the Northern Ireland, the Unionist's see it as a way to distance province from the rest of the UK and to push them in to the Republic of Ireland.  Time for the UK PM to tell the EU, this and no further, the UK is a Sovereign State, we decide on trade for the rest of the UK.

Lets Get Real:

The UK should tell the EU to sod off, in clear Anglo Saxon so they get the message, let's not play nice with them, they are not playing nice with us, the people of the Northern Ireland are part of the UK, and thus British Sausages should be allowed in to Northern Ireland, and if the EU has a problem well so be it, they can tell the Republic of Ireland to place border posts on their side of the border to prevent British sausages going in to the Republic.   The EU is playing games as it wants to scare other Countries from leaving the EU.  ENOUGH is ENOUGH, we are out of the EU, we are a SOVEREING NATION, our rules for our people. 

Northern Ireland Protocol and the UK - Post Brexit

BBC News: Reports " The EU has warned the UK not to take any further unilateral action to delay post-Brexit checks on products entering Northern Ireland from Britain. "

Lets Get Real:

This the EU being HEAVY handed again, the UK must decided if the UK should stay in the Northern Ireland Protocol, the EU is playing games and do not care about the residents of Northern Ireland, they were the first to suggest negating the protocol when it was in their interest.  It only lasted a few hours but it shows that the EU will change the rules in  a minute when it seems it is in their interest.   The UK should state tomorrow, if the EU does not make the changes we want, then the UK will withdraw from the Protocol, at least that would be HONEST, then both sides would no the political score.   This move would be supported by the UK voter, as they showed in 2016 and 2019.

The New York Times: Reports " Manchin Vows to Block Democratic Voting Rights Bill and Preserve Filibuster...Senator Joe Manchin III, Democrat of West Virginia, appeared to slam the door on the far-reaching measure when he wrote that he would not vote for any partisan voting bill.  "

Lets Get Real:

This is the problem the Democrats will face before the 2022 Mid Terms, if the Senator from West Virginia does not support a Democratic BILL then it will not get through the Senate, the uber liberals AND CNN are screaming for the the filibuster to be removed so they can push their extreme Agenda through.  It has been noticed by the uber liberals that Biden Administration has been very much more LIBERAL than expected.   In fact Senator MANCHIN might be saving the Biden Presidency, the Biden Oval now knows that if it wants to get its AGENDA through it has to please either Manchin or get a Republican to vote for it.    The Biden Oval wants to spend trillions on LIBERAL courses, the fact that MANCHINE might say NO means that President Oval has to talk to  his friends in the Senate, that means Democrats and Republicans.  The LIBERAL wing of the Democratic Party will not be happy. 

Donald Trump OFF Facebook in till 2023 - How the might have FALLEN

Sky News: Reports " Donald Trump suspended from Facebook for two years after 'praising people at US Capitol riot'"

Lets Get Real:

This will be a blow to the Donald, he will not be able to post on Facebook in till 2024, this might be bad, but if he runs in 2024 there is no way FACEBOOK can keep the suspension, it will be seen as playing for the other side, and what if the Donald wins AGAIN, not good for Facebook in D.C. It will be interesting to see how much of role the Donald will play in the 2022 Mid Terms, are his candidates successful, do the Republicans take the House and retake the Senate.   The next two years will be interesting, the Mid Terms will define the Biden Presidency, does he become a lame duck President or can he keep both Houses Democratic.  The fun starts in a few months time.
