Harris BACKTRACKS over abolishing Private Health Cover AGAIN - Election 2020

Daily Mail: Reports " Kamala Harris backtracks AGAIN and insists she doesn't favor eliminating all private health insurance despite raising her hand in debate to agree she wanted to 'abolish' it  "

Lets Get Real:

This is called a political clean up, Senator Harris has become a potential Democratic nominee, thus she and her campaign should expect her role as a prosecutor to come under firm scrutiny also what she says in debates.   By lifting her HAND to support getting rid of private health cover she has given the Republicans an issue to clobber the Democrats with, they will ALL be asked if they want to throw millions of Americans off their private medical cover, this issue could cost them the election, one only has to recall that President Obama stated if you liked your Doctor you could keep him/her, that turned out not to be true with ObamaCare.  VP Biden also raised his hand, does that mean that a President Biden, will throw millions of American off their cover, time for damage limitation by the Biden Camp.  POTUS is having fun at the cost of the Democrats.

Lets Get Real:

Before we start getting used to saying President Harris ( easier that Mayor Pete' surname ) there is a LONG PROCESS to go, one good debate does not make it a White House win.  It was interesting in a CNN panel of voters from Iowa, the lone supporter of Biden was an African - American voter, and Biden has a massive lead with African - American voters, they know what they are getting with Biden, Senator Harris will have to claw them to her side, this means having a good performance in Iowa and NH in 2020.  Senator Harris has to show that she can win the white vote in States that are not California, thus if she can do this then African - American voters can see that she is safe pair of hands and can win a general election against Trump.  The one negative she has to face it the fact that she supported getting rid private insurance of a majority of Americans and giving medical cover to illegal migrant, she has to roll that back or she will not win, or the House could go back to Republicans and the Senate would remain a solid Republican chamber, thus blocking her Agenda if she gets to the White House.  It June 2019, not June 2020!

The Day VP Joe Biden LOST the Democratic Nomination ? - Election 2020

Lets Get Real:

TV political commentators on CNN gave the debate to Senator Harris, it was the right call.   The Senator who was a prosecutor in a previous career eat Joe Biden's lunch.  It was moving to hear her story about being the second class of her school to be bussed to a majority white school.  The fact that Joe Biden argued against bussing in the 1970s did not help, his reaction was BAD, he stated that he did not have a problem with bussing itself, but that it should be State issue, not a Federal Government issue.  If you repeated that statement without telling someone who the source was you would think it was George Wallace from the 1960s.  Senator Harris stated she did not think Biden was a racist, in other words she was calling him a racist.   It can be postulated that if Biden become the nominee he will not be asking Harris to be his VP.   Of  course that assumes that Biden will be the nominee, how can African - Americans support a candidate who affirms State rights over Federal rights, if you follow that logic, the old South would still be around, and so would their racist views.  At the end of the test back and too with Harris, Biden stated " My time is UP, " one can see the political adverts already.   Also the Democrats in the debate stated that they would give health cover to illegal migrants, Harris stated she would support getting rid of private health cover, that COST her the nomination and the election. 

It was interesting to see how individual voters in Iowa thought about the 2nd debate, they gave the debate to Harris and Mayor Pete, but overall they had not decide who they were going to vote for.   This good people of Iowa and NH expect their candidates in their living room when it very cold outside, to discuss the issues.  This is a LONG RACE, there will be other DEBATES, if the nominee is Warren, then Trump can sleep his way to a 2nd term, she is to FAR LEFT, Biden is their only hope. 

Labour's antisemitism problem - Jeremy Corbyn's Labour Party

The above is why Jeremy Corbyn is unfit to be the next British PM, when you allow the perception that a political party is anti Jewish it allows those who are actually racists to come out of the shadows.   It has been noted that Labour MP and former Labour MPs have come under attack because they are of the Jewish faith, a political party has to be ruthless with these people and throw them out of the Party.   This blog does not know what is in the heart of Chris Williamson, only the MP is knows that, thus does not have a view on the issue of Mr Williamson and if he the whip should be removed from him.   The problem with the left is that they are anti Israel and its policy towards the Palestinian people, thus are highly critical of Israel.  The scourge of antisemitism has to be driven out of mainstream politics.   The Labour Party should learn what happened in Weimar Germany when Hitler was not stopped, political chaos builds rebellion, and the failure to get Brexit through could cause great political damage.

CNN had a panel of Democratic voters who have not made their minds up of who to vote for, at the end of the debate they still had not made up their minds, but when asked who they thought had a good night, three names came up, Warren, Booker and Castro.  The loser was Beto O' Rourke, the golden boy of the Democratic Party was seen to have fleet of clay, he was taken out by Castro.  The issue was if migrants should be charged with a criminal offence should they cross the border or make it a civil issue.   The BIG DEBATE is tonight, former VP Biden is up against Senator Sanders and Mayor Pete and and numerous other candidates.   The view of this blogger is if any of the first debate team win the White House you will need LSD to keep awake, they were so BORING, even POTUS stated that in a tweet.   None of them came up with a pithy line, such as Reagan's 1980 line to a debate moderator, " Mr Green I am paying for this microphone " or his 1984 line to Walter Mondale, " I will not use my opponent youth and inexperience against him "

Boris on Brexit - Conservative Leadership Contest - Brexit will NEVER HAPPEN!

One does wonder if the Boris Johnson campaign expected their guy to get  himself in to trouble with a domestic with his other half, thus the move to say that the UK will be out of the EU by October, deal or no deal.  The REMAIN press, TV and print are very hostile, more than they are normally to Conservatives.   The elite establishment see the Conservative contest as a way to derail Brexit, either forcing the Conservatives to stay within the EU or get another Brexit vote via the Labour Party winning the next general election.   The elite political establishment only believe in DEMOCRACY if they agree with it, this is why we had appeasement in the 1930s.  The future of UK democracy is at STAKE, we have to leave the EU. 

Trump is CRITICAL of Iran - Iran Crisis - Trump Era

Iran does not respect WORDS, it respects POWER and the use of POWER, the lack of action by the Trump Oval has shown that POTUS is a weak and feckless President. Thus one can expect Iran to take further action, sanctions and cyber warfare does not work with the Tehran Government.   The lack of follow through by Trump when it comes to Iran and North Korea show that POTUS really does believe that the US should not be the Leader of the World after the end of the Cold War, what would have past Presidents have thought.  The fact that the left in American politics supports the fact that POTUS did not take military actions shown that the Reagan Republican Party has surrendered to the Trump ideology of American First and the rest of the World can go to thell.  One does hope that the Democrats select a liberal on domestic issues but a hawk on foreign policy, other wise PAX American is over.
