Lets Get Real:

The problem for any US Administration is the fact that Pakistan plays both sides, it gets money from the US to fight terror but also funds terror when it is in their political interest, they see Afghanistan as their backyard and also feel that they need to counter the presence of India in the region.   Both India and Pakistan are nuclear powers, the US in time will give money to Pakistan, it can not afford to allow a terror group to gain power in Pakistan, a few years back the Taliban of Pakistan was a few miles of the Capital.   Also there have non nuclear wars between Pakistan and India, thus the US has to have a presence, it is to much on tinder box to leave alone.   The Pakistan Government has to be seen to fight terrorists more and help the US fight terrorists in Afghanistan.

Lets Get Real:

It can be argued that Michael Wolff's new book 'Fire and Fury' is a hatched job on President Trump, it makes the President look weak, even unhinged, while his Marriage is made to look like a trophy Marriage.   The President and the First Lady must be seen together over the next few days, also Trump should take a risk and get a tough interview, not from CNN they are have well and truly lost the plot.  It would be better if it was a live interview, then the network can not edit to show any bias.  One only hopes the book is false hatched job, otherwise the US and the West is in deep trouble.

That BOOK and President TRUMP - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The Trump Team have not learned from the book episode's of the Reagan Administration, the Gipper faced a few negative books in his last years in Office, he just laughed them off, he never tried to stop them, he just carried on being THE President.   The Clinton Administration had a tough year, and the President just carried on, keeping to his campaign pledge to work for the American people.  President Trump has to show that the negative stories are not getting to him, he should use the Reagan example of just laughing them off, he must show that he is working for the American people.   Let us recall Reagan left office with a 63% job approval rating and his VP become President, while Clinton left with a 66% approval rating. 

Oil Drilling is GOOD - Trump Era

Fox News: Reports " The Trump administration announced Thursday it is planning to dramatically expand offshore drilling, opening almost all U.S. coastal waters to potential oil and gas exploration and development.  "

Lets Get Real:

The green groups will be in arms, they had the Obama cover for eight years, now the US can drill for oil, it is good for US national security and for jobs.   The US has vast areas that have not been developed for oil, now the old oil companies can drill with the support of the US Government.  It can be postulated that the radical green groups will go to the Courts, the answer will depend who appointed the Judges, that is why Trump is rushing to get Conservative Judges on to the Courts. A good day for oil drilling!!

Another hit at ObamaCare - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The Trump Oval is taking ObamaCare apart piece by piece, it has removed the requirement that people buy health insurance, now it wants to help small business in the same sectors buy a common health cover over State lines. The new rules are less regulated by ObamaCare.   The left will argue when they finish going about the allegations that Trump has dementia that the Trump Oval is taking ObamaCare apart at its foundations.   It seems from the domestic to foreign policy that anything that has the Obama stamp is being removed or redone.   President Obama must really wish that Hillary Clinton won the Presidency in 2016.

Lets Get Real:

The left has its talking points now, the President is old, he repeats himself, he eats badly, he sole obsession is the TV News.   It should be noted that when the Democrats can not win they go for the perceived personal flaws of the President.  The Trump Oval has to come out fighting, the late night comedy chat shows will have a field say with this book as have past shows, Reagan was seen by the left as being distance from his job, not being interested in job and of course having early dementia.   This blog will take the Gipper from the 1980s over any of his future successors, he was a Great President,  and you can see from his diaries he knew what was going on in his Administration.   It is Reagan that lead to end of the Cold War and the downfall of the USSR.

Lets Get Real:

It can be argued that President Trump is right to take credit for the supposed concessions made by the North Koreans, they now want to go to the Winter Olympics and have tested the red hot line between the Koreas.    The question is what North Korea does next, there were reports that the US thought that North Korea would launch another missile test, thus far that has not happened, can this early thaw lead to REAL TALKS or is this just spin by the North Koreans, in the hope of causing friction between the US and South Korea.
