Lets Get Real:

The Republicans in the Senate and House should say No to the Democrats when it comes for their calls for an Independent Committee to investigate Trump during the 2016 race and his first few weeks in power.   They should allow the Committees they control to do any investigation.   On the other hand the Republicans must show they are hard on Russia and should suggest further sanctions on Russia.   The Democrats want to divert attention from the fact they lost the November election, they have no leader and thus have gone left, the same with the UK Labour Party.   This scandal has been called another Watergate, not yet!! It depends if the Trump team was in bed with the Russians.

POTUS vs. The US Intelligence Community - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

As stated in previous post, will someone please take away the cell phone of President Trump.   The one smart thing you do in D.C is not to take on the FBI or the NSA, even President Obama never went after the NSA, they are everywhere and know all, they bugg everyone and record all, thus if you are smart you leave them alone, otherwise they can make your Administration hell on earth.   The President needs to show he is tough when it comes to Russian, he needs to send in troops to West Ukraine to defend the West of that invaded country.   Also troops should be sent to the Baltic States.   It was reported last night on Fox News that the Russians have developed a new Cruise missile, this is against the INF treaty signed by Reagan and Gorbachev  in 1987, the Oval Office should come down hard against Russia.   Trump looks weak, thus he needs to project power abroad. 

Trump and Guantánamo - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

This is a simple case, if the suspect is  Al Qaeda then he should be moved to Gitmo and held as long as needed, the War on Terror is still going on, there is Al Qaeda and Daesh out there, the US needs to get intelligence on them, the best way is to capture them if they can not be droned, then they can be checked out over time, to see if they have any information of value, then held for trial by the US military.   The uber liberal NYT will never understand the threat from the Middle East, it needs a hard heart and a back bone made of steel.   The liberals with Obama failed to crush Daesh, they were more successful with drone strikes, one wonders if the liberals would have been so supportive if a Republican President used drones as much as President Obama did in his time in office.

Lets Get Real:

As noted in my previous post the next question to be asked by the main stream media is what did President Trump know and when was he informed of the substance of the talks between Flynn and the Russian Ambassador.   It can be argued that CNN has become the liberal opposition, if to go by their prime time coverage, this blogger is still waiting for a positive story from CNN about Trump, it is not holding its breath.   It might be time for the Trump Administration to get tougher on Iran and North Korea, if nothing else it's the right policy and and would divert attention.   In case some liberal writers are starting to say that this blog is calling for a War in the Middle East or Asia is to miss the point, both Iran and North Korea need to be taught a lesson, they have pushed the US to far over the years, it could be argued that the US should take out the missile compounds in Iran and warn North Korea than any new missile test will to some kind of military action.   As for Russia, let the US get tougher, arm the Soldiers of East Ukraine.   That will really upset the elite press.

Flynn BREAKS record, shortest National Security Advisor - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The Gipper had a few National Security Advisors, one every few years, it can be argued that it is good to have new blood in the team, okay 24 days is fast, one can argue that it is so early in the Administration that within a few months it will be forgotten, of course the Democrats on the Hill want to have Flynn before their Committees, they wish to further wound Trump, lets hope there is no more damaging news out there, the Democrats will want to know did the President okay the Russian calls and what did know about their substance.   The liberal 24/7 news channels will run with the story ALL day.   This is Christmas for them and it came early. 

Will the Trump Administration become Anti Russia - Trump Era

Fox News: Reports " A Russian official said Tuesday that the resignation of President Trump’s national security adviser may show early signs that the administration has been “infected” by anti-Russian feelings, Reuters reported. "

Lets Get Real:

It will be interesting to see how the Russian policy of the Trump Administration develops, will it still seek a better relationship or will we return to the new Cold War 2.  Both Bush 43 and Obama 44 tried for a better relationship with Russia and failed, on the other hand Reagan called the then USSR an Evil Empire and was later accused of carrying water for Gorbachev after the Cold War has really come to an end.   Thus it might be an idea for Trump to be tough on Russia and see how it develops, if your seen as to nice at the start you get accused of being a threat to US national security, at least Reagan could say that he had been very tough on Russia, but changed policy with the coming of Gorbachev.   

Flynn and the US Justice Department - Trump Era

Lets Get Real:

The uber liberal press and networks will have a field day with this resignation, they are after the Trump Presidency, the see Trump as a racist and anti woman, etc, thus any political wounding is all right in their books.   The Trump Oval should get a new long term NSA fast, one with a clean record and someone that the press will not dislike on his or her first day.   It has been argued that the White House Chief of Staff is weak and should go, that would be an over reaction, it takes time to bed in an Administration.   There great white shark that is D.C elite are always after new blood in the water, it is their idea of a soap opera.
