What is surprising is that General Flynn forget that the NSA records calls from Washington D.C to Russia, they are everywhere and know all, so when Flynn forgot or mislead the Vice - President he should have know that the National Security Agency could have tripped him with the actual transcripts of the calls.   The Democrats will now be asking, how much did the President know and when did he find out.   Politics in the US has become a blood sport, its a favourite of Washington Elite.

Flynn Quits as National Security Advisor - Trump Era

BBC News: Reports " US National Security Adviser Michael Flynn has resigned over allegations he discussed US sanctions with Russia before Donald Trump took office. "

Lets Get Real:

The resignation is no great surprise, during the weekend the Trump White House did not defend Flynn on the Sunday talk shows, then the President was said to be Evaluating the case, then it was fluid, now we have the resignation.   The main political crime was that he mislead the Vice - President about the nature of his calls with the Russian Ambassador, then sent out the VP to tell a false versions to the TV networks.   The press are after blood when it comes to Trump, they hate him, and will go after any story.   The Russians will not be happy, Flynn was seen as wanting better relationship between the US and Russia, who will be the next NSA, will he or she be tougher on Russia.   There is nothing better for Washington D.C than when there is blood in the water, now the reports will be asking how much did Trump know about the calls. 

North Korea Part 2 - Trump Era

The US should consider placing more troops in South Korea, also move its missile shield to cover South Korea and Japan, also there is a worry about China and its buildings of man made islands in the South China Seas, the US should consider sending some aircraft carriers down to Asia, to show both North Korea and China that the new Trump Administration will defend its allies, weakness is  a risk, China saw President Obama as weak, thus the build up of Islands, this is the time to correct the image.  It is still early in the Trump Administration for it to send a strong message.

North Korea Missile Test - Trump Era

What will the Donald do about North Korea, not  a lot, the rogue regime has the bomb and is developing its missile technology.   The worry should be if North Korea gets missile technology from Iran and Iran gets the bomb from North Korea, one is more surprised that it has not happened already.   Also there is the million man army that North Korea has, it has been reported that it has old equipment, and morale is low, that could be true, but that army still could do a lot of damage in South Korea should it invade.   Thus this is North Korea just showing that it should not be forgotten by the new US Administration. 

Trump's New Travel Ban? - Trump Era

Thus POTUS will try to get a new travel ban through next week, thus more Court action.  One thing about the Donald he never gives up, he will work through the day/night to get what he wants, he likes hard work.   This recalls a story of the Gipper, the 40th President asked when the Presidential Daily brief would come, the reply was 7.30am, the Gipper replied he would arrive at 9.30am.   The point being that the Gipper was a great President, its not the hours you put in, but what you do with the hours you do work.   The 45TH President should learn from Reagan.

Trump NSA in Russian Scandal - Trump Era

CNN - Politics: Reports " Vice President Mike Pence did not know that National Security Adviser Michael Flynn may have spoken about sanctions with the Russian Ambassador in January pre-inauguration, and believes "it's a problem," a senior White House adviser told CNN Friday. "

Lets Get Real:

It might be time for President Trump to fire Michael Flynn his NSA, the NSA should not be that controversial, Flynn has worked for Russian TV and there is a picture of Flynn at a dinner with Putin and others.   This might be a good political move by Trump, it would get rid of the idea that Trump is a Putin puppet, and the conspiracy theorists would need to drop the issue. There is no proof that Flynn did anything illegal, but then he his Trump's NSA, he must appear and actually be innocent even if he has done nothing wrong.   It might be a good idea for Flynn to be made Ambassador to Iceland, somewhere that is out of the way.

BBC News: Reports " US President Donald Trump has agreed to honour the so-called "One China" policy in a phone call with Chinese President Xi Jinping, the White House said...And after all the threats and promises Mr Trump made about China on the campaign trail, it is not clear what, if anything, the Trump administration has won in return. "

One has noticed that since the Trump White House finally go its Cabinet picks through in the national security area the Trump White House is making less mistakes, the travel ban is another story.   It can be suggested that President Nixon is smiling from above that his policy is being carried through by another successor, and former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger must also be happy that his and Nixon's policy so far is safe.   One can presume that North Korea was a major part of the talk between the new President and China, the threat of North Korea growing, one would not be surprised to see some kind of crisis develop.   The Regime is being more brutal than usual, it might feel under threat from within, thus a way to divert the people and the Communist Party to create a real crisis between North Korea and the US.
