Never TRUST the LibDems - UK Coalition Government in Crisis

Telegraph: Reports that the UK Coalition Deputy PM Nick Clegg has stated that the Liberal Democrats will oppose boundary changes for Parliamentary Seats in the 2015 election because the Conservative Party has not supported House of Lords reform.

Lets Get Real:

The Liberal Democrats have show their true colour, YELLOW, they have shown they are not a Party of their word, the Coalition deal gave the LibDems a vote of PR in exchange for a vote to reduce the number of MPs in the House of Commons, and to give Parliamentary Seats equal voters. The breaking of the deal by the LibDems should make PM David Cameron throw in the towel when it comes to the Coalition, he should sack the LibDems Cabinet Ministers, and run a minority Conservative Government, it should move to the radical right, this is the time to play hard ball with the LibDems, if they want to act like selfish children, well send them to their room and run the House as it should be run, in a Conservative manner.

House of Commons - Reform

Guardian: Reports on the reform of the House of Commons by the Coalition Government, the number of MPs will go down from 650 to 600. This is a good move by the Coalition Government, in future it will take the same number of votes to elect a Conservative as a Labour MP. The general reporting has the LibDems as the biggest losers in the reform, well they got their AV vote, it was their fault it failed. If the Liberal Democrats try to break their word on the Coalition Agreement the Conservatives can go to the Country, simple, the Liberal Democrats are more concerned about their MPs and not Government. If the reform is passed the next election will be a equal fight between the political parties. That is Democracy folks.

Anniversary of the UK Coalition Government

Guardian: Reports that Coalition PM David Cameron has stated that he expects the political parties in the Coalition to become more defined and for more arguments, but wants to keep the Coalition in till the expected next General Election in 2015. As the President Obama said to the Republicans, elections have consequences, the failure of the AV referendum and the loss of hundreds of local Councillors was a major political shock for the Liberal Democrat Leadership. Thus the argument by the left of the Party that it has to define itself as counter the Conservative Party, this lobby group wants the Lib Dems to be lap dogs for Labour, it is also bad political advice, the Lib Dems would look like they want to be in Government but also in Opposition, this kind of posture is loathed by the UK voter. The great leaders, stood their ground and fought their battles, from David Lloyd George as UK PM in World War One, Winston Churchill as the symbol of the nation during World War Two, and Lady Thatcher over retaking the Falklands Islands. The Liberal Democrats if they want to prosper should want to own the Coalition Government as much as the Conservative Party, take a stand and fight, if Lib Dems look weak and posturing for the sake of posturing they will be destroyed in 2015.

The End Result - Election Day Review

BBC News: Reports on Election Day Results. Well folks it was a very good night for the Conservative Party, in Wales the Conservative Party gained 14 Seats, making them the 2nd Party of Wales after the Labour Party on 30 Seats. In the English Local Elections it was a miracle folks, thus far the Conservatives have added 81 ( as of 8.10pm ) Council Seats to their numbers, the Labour Party has gained 800 Council seats but this was at the expense of the Liberal Democrats and others. The Conservative Party overall had 35% of the vote to Labours 37%. Before the election night it was expected that the Tories would lose hundred of seats, this has not happened. Thus a great night for Coalition PM David Cameron. Also the Conservative Party with support of half of the Labour Party has won the NO vote in the AV referendum, a major defeat for the Liberal Democrats and Ed Miliband the Labour Leader. On the whole election night was a disaster for the Liberal Democrats, the junior partner in the Coalition Government has been battered in England, Wales and Scotland, there have been calls by some in the Liberal Democrats for the Party to have more of a distinct persona in the Government, this would be a mistake, your either in Government or not, that is the choice faced by Lib Dems. On the whole A+ for the Conservatives, C- for the Labour Party and D- for Lib Dems.

Campbell YES to AV

Alastair Campbell Blog: The Chief Spinner of New Labour Mr Campbell is voting YES on AV, the spin master states the following, “ …No rather than Yes...was indeed my own instinct early on….I have come round to Yes. ”. Simple folks do you trust AC after Iraq, if you really want to show your disapproval of his judgement then vote NO in the AV referendum on Thursday. A YES vote would mean that the Liberal Democrats would be in power all the time, there would never again be a majority Labour Government or Conservative Government, the Lib Dems would be the King Makers, the Labour and Conservative Leaders would have to pander to the Lib Dems. VOTE NO TO AV, vote for your freedom to have the Government of your CHOICE. Also in way send a message of disapproval to the Chief New Labour Spin Doctor!

UK Coalition Government Split ?

Telegraph: Reports on comments by the DPM Nick Clegg that the Coalition Parties will become more distinct after the AV referendum . In other words the Deputy Prime Minister feels under threat from those within his party who never in their hearts really wanted a Coalition Government. At the end of the day your either in Government our out, DPM Nick Clegg should have the guts to face down his opposition, you cant have Liberal Democrats Cabinet Ministers after the AV vote deciding which policy they like, the point of Collective responsibility within Cabinet is that on the whole you have once voice, yes there was the feud between Blair/Brown and that was one party, on the whole the system only works if you have one voice. If the Liberal Democrats want to leave the Government they should go, if they lose AV and take away their ball they will be seen as a one issue self interested Party, that helps the Tories. The Conservatives should look to form a minority Government or a lesser deal with the Liberal Democrats or some Northern Ireland MPs.

Vote YES on AV and you get A = B'Stard

Daily Mail: Reports how the No Campaign has showed how the Rt Hon Alan B'Stard could come back in to power if you VOTE YES on AV. This is quite fun and a very good move by the No Campaign, the character of Alan B’stard on TV was fun but you might not want him in power till the end of time. Thus folks if you don’t want politicians of any party to decide who will be the next government you should vote NO in the AV vote. The first past the post system is not perfect, it gave us Tony Blair after all, but its Democracy folks.

No to AV

Its getting close folks, the Alternative Vote Referendum of May 5th, it time to protect our democracy from having the Liberal Democrats in power forever with the Labour Party. Lets be honest folks, the hard core of the Liberal Democrats are left wing, if they had the choice Gordon Brown would still be in power, thus protect our Democracy for US and the next generation, VOTE NO on May 5th. Visit the Official No Web page, arm yourself with the facts to challenge this media left wing elite attempt to take away our Democracy and make the UK the North Korea of Labour with the Lib Dems as their servants.

AV Referendum 2011

Guardian: Reports that the result of the AV referendum of 2011 will have a major effect on all the political parties and their leaders. The AV referendum is a major need win for Nick Clegg, he has to keep his Liberal Democrat supporters on side, a loss in the referendum could raise questions about the Coalition with the Conservative Party, on the Tory side nearly all Conservatives will oppose the change in the voting system. The Coalition PM David Cameron needs to throw some bones to the Lib Dems to keep them on board. It Labour that has a split on the referendum, over a hundred Labour MPs have come out in opposition to the change, while Ed Miliband supports the move, thus showing again that " Red " Ed was not the choice of the Labour MPs. Interesting times ahead folks.

The Labour Party Split over AV in 2011

Telegraph: Reports that 114 Labour MPs will oppose the move to AV in the 2011 AV referendum vote. It will be interesting folks, you will have a majority if near all Conservatives in opposition to AV, the Labour Party is split, the only people supporting AV will be the Liberal Democrats, Ed Miliband the new Labour Leader and a few Labour MPs and the left wing media, its to early to predict but its going to be hard to get a YES vote folks.

The Tuition Fees VOTE - House of Commons

BBC News: Reports on the Student protest in London today against the tuition fees raise planned by the Coalition Government. This is a real test for the Coalition Government and more important a test of leadership for Nick Clegg, the Lib Dems are split down the middle on this issue, in the vote it is expected that those Lib Dems in the Government will vote for the change, while others will abstain or vote against the change in the tuition fees. It is thought that the Government will win, but the real question is how long can the Coalition Government go on, if Lib Dems vote against the change they are breaking the Coalition deal between the Lib Dems and the Conservative Party, it can be argued that Tories might feel they have the right to oppose a AV vote next year. Once a word is broken you never trust the Party again, that is the hard fact of political life folks.

Taking a STAND - Nick Clegg to support HIKE in Tuition Fees

BBC News: Reports that the DPM Nick Clegg the Leader of the Liberal Democrats has stated he will vote in the House of Commons on Thursday to raise tuition fees in England. This shows leadership by Nick Clegg, your either in Coalition Government or not, and you have to keep your word when you agree a policy otherwise others in the Coalition will feel free to break their word. One has to wonder how many Conservative MPs might now vote against an AV referendum in 2011, because of the action of those Lib Dems MPs who vote against the Coalition on Thursday. Can this Coalition Government get to 2015, this issue has placed doubts on that outcome, a great help to the Coalition Government is the weakness of Ed Miliband, but how long before Mr Miliband shows firm leadership or is replaced by a new leader, time will only tell, has Mr Clegg a future as Lib Dem Leader.

Cracks in Coalition Government - Tuition Fees

BBC News: Reports on the first possible resignation of the Coalition Government over policy, it’s a Lib Dem over Tuition Fees. The Lib Dem is Norman Baker the Transport Minister. One has to ask why are the Conservatives giving the Lib Dems a vote on AV if they cant be trusted to support one of their own Ministers in the shape of Business Secretary Vince Cable. Its shows that if you have been out of power for decades you forget what real Government is and become a pressure group. How long before the Tories rule alone.

Liberal Democrats and Tuition Fees

Guardian: Reports that the Business Secretary Vince Cable has stated that his reform of tuition fees could be moved in the House of Commons while he and his fellow Liberal Democrats abstain. This is why Liberal Democrats are loathed by Conservatives and Labour supporters, the want it both ways, how can a Secretary of State abstain from his own idea, what comes first the Country or Party. The Lib Dems have to make a decision, are they in or out of Government, if they refused to support their own Secretary of State what is stop Tories from defecting on granting a referendum on AV. It is time for the Lib Dems to grow up. They wanted a Coalition Government will this is the price, not being liked by the left.

Labour vs. Labour over AV VOTE - Civil War

Guardian: Reports on the split in the Labour Party between Ed Miliband the new Labour Leader and leading Labour ex Cabinet Ministers from the Blair and Brown years, the issue is the AV vote, “ Red - Brutus “ Miliband supports AV, the Labour Establishment headed by David Blunkett says NO. If you believe that one vote counts as much as another vote you will oppose AV, a BNP vote ( a Racist Party ) would be worth more than one vote, as in AV the voter for example can state a preference of 1234 etc, thus if the BNP is 4 and after the first round of voting their votes are shared to other parties, thus more important than those that get 1st choice. THUS TO STOP RACIST VOTERS, VOTE AGAINST AV.
