Lets Get Real:

This blog does not see the connection between fish and terrorism, has the endless talks made the EU delegation lose a bit of reality.  The main problem is the FRENCH, and their demands for the same fishing concessions they have NOW.  Is the concern about terror an attempt to pressure the UK to give a little.  One does hope not, the UK has been through its terror scares and will go through them again, that does not mean there is a link to Brexit, quite the reverse, the UK Government is following the will of the UK voter, WE WANT OUT of the EU.  One can see why the endless talks and no deal might make any diplomat start to see the papers in his or her dreams, the talks have a deadline of Friday according to the Guardian.  We wait in bated breath for a DEAL.

Lets Get Real:

As noted in the left wing Guardian last week, this is the week if there is going to be a DEAL.  Otherwise there will be no time to get it through the House of Commons and the Parliaments of the other 27 EU Countries.   The main problems, as they always have been is as fish, regulations on UK Government support for economic sectors of the economy and who shall judge if the either side break the rules. This blog has argued that the PM can not appease the French when it comes to FISH, the section is a small part of the economy but very symbolic for the voter.  The French want to keep the same concessions that they have NOW, any agreement like that has no chance of getting through the House of Commons.  The results of this week talks should be known by Friday at the latest.   If there are further talks, then the EU is playing the UK and is running down the clock to force a BAD deal on the UK.   The UK PM must walk on Friday if there is NO DEAL, these endless talks are going nowhere so far.

POTUS returns to home base, - Fox News - US Presidential Election

Lets Get Real:

Thus POTUS is still not accepting the election result, this makes Al Gore look like he followed decorum with his battle in the Courts in 2000 verses Bush 43.  One has to assume that someone in the Trump family has the guts or love to tell Trump that it is over for 2020, but he if he wants to run in 2024 this is the time to clear the decks, concede to Biden, by phone or text if he wants, get down to Georgia, to help the Republicans keep the US Senate and have the ability to block the Biden Agenda.   Then as was the plan in 2016, start his own TV Channel or get a show on Fox, he has a base of voters who will tune it, and he can go after Biden, night after night, someone did call the White House the most comfortable Federal Prison.  As for CNN, have you noticed that they have not mentioned COVID - 19, Trump was right about that, they liberal media will be kissing the backside of Biden for months, let's face it, Biden will not get the viewers in, they might end up having to give TRUMP air time, just to get their viewership up.   Those anti Trumpers in the Republican Party will need to show that they are REAL Republicans, thus their friends in the uber liberal media will not be so nice to them, in les they are Republicans in name only, in other words Democrats. 

Trump is still fighting a BATTLE but LOST THE WAR - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

The above might be true or not, that is not the point, the election is OVER and it can be argued that Biden won it fair and square, the fact that President Trump is not going to concede will allow his supporters to say that the election was stolen from him.  If POTUS wants to re-run the election in 2024, then he has to get over this defeat, phone or text Biden to say he has won, then go down to Georgia an spend the next two months there, get the Republicans the two extra seats they need to control the US Senate.   Then he can argue that when it comes to 2024 that he has the political base and the political mandate to face President - Elect Biden again.  Or that one of his family with his support can be the Republican nominee.  Think Clinton between the Bush Presidencies, that would perfect revenge.  Playing endless Golf is not the answer, Biden Team are coming hot, with their own executive orders to replace the Trump orders.  American politics never ends, that is why its fun.

The REAL Deadline for Brexit Talks - Brexit Update 2 - Transitional Phase

Lets Get Real:

It is the 7th today, thus a deal need to be make by the latest of the 12 or 13 of this month.  This is going to be close call, there are many outstanding problems, the PM has to see how the waters are tomorrow, if they look Icey the PM has to be firm with the EU Commission President, the UK cannot wait around for the EU to get its ACT TOGETHER, the UK needs to make progress on its own plans for a no deal Brexit, if the EU moves we can have talks, but if they EU is still playing games then the UK should just walk away, that would show the EU that we are firm in our position.  The clock is ticking, the next few days will be interesting, who said the US election was more interesting!! NO DEAL BREXIT is the best move by the PM.

President Trump has not learned from his four years in power, he started with no class and has even lowered the bar.  The President should be thinking of his family, it has been mentioned a few times that some in his family want to run for the Presidency, if he thought about it HARD, he could support one of them, and then see them defeat Joe Biden in 2024, that would be cold revenge.   If he was normal Trump should concede the election and then move to Georgia to support the Republican Senators, such a move  and hopefully Republican victory would BLOCK most of the Democratic Agenda.  The LEFT in the Democratic Party will want its interests pushed by a Biden Oval, as President - Elect Biden will face pressure to place left wingers in economic departments.  Trump was right about one thing, has any one noticed that CNN has not mentioned Covid - 19 in days, what a great shock, let's see what happens on January 2021, the virus will become a Biden problem, lets see how the left wing press deals with that, also TV.  Also lets be direct and honest here, Biden might be going gaga ( And I do not mean the singer ) this blog has argued that Biden is showing signs of vascular dementia over the last few months, we could find that in the middle 2022, that Biden has to retire and VP Harris becomes President. Anything is possible in politics. That is why Democracy what ever its flaws is the best system.  

UK PM sees chances of a BREXIT DEAL - Brexit Update 1 - Transitional Phase

Lets Get Real:

The UK PM will talk to the EU Commission President tomorrow, the PM has to be VERY CLEAR with the EU, our fish in our waters remain UK fish, while London will decide how much money it spend to help different sectors of the economy and arbitration will not be done by the ECJ.  If the EU will not move the PM should pull plug, cut bait, in other words END THE TALKS on his terms.  Further talks will go nowhere and the EU is trying to force the UK to accept a lesser deal the benefits the EU.  The UK should go on to Australian rules, they are good enough at the moment, also this would show to the EU that the UK is firm, and will not play about to their game.
