Lets Get Real:

The Russian Offensive could come before the Ukraine gets its tanks from Germany, Poland, UK and others, the best way to prevent an early offensive is to give the Kyiv the F - 16 fighters jets it needs.  That in combination with West tanks could push the Russians out of the Ukraine and back to the CRIMEA.   The we comes to the BUT, there is always a but, do we allow the Ukraine to push the Russians out of the Crimea, and is that a REAL RED LINE for Putin's Kremlin, could he go nuclear if he faces total humiliation at home.  Putin does not want to end up in the House of Special Purpose like the last Tsar and his family.  Russians are not forgiving of leaders that lose WARS, the 1905 revolution started after a failed WAR against Japan and the 1st Russian Revolution of 1917 started after the failures of the Russian Army in WW1.   Thus Putin can be expected to draw a line at the Crimea, the question will the West have the power to stop the Kyiv Government, without making it sound that the West was appeasing Putin, no one wants to be the same page as Neville Chamberlain, the failed appeasing PM of the 1930s.   Dangerous days and weeks ahead!

Lets Get Real:

The UK needs to send tanks to the Ukraine as fast as it can teach the Ukraine tank Crews how to drive the Challenger 2 tanks and tank strategy to fight the Russians.  The view from the US is that the British Army is no longer a top tier Army and barely makes the 2nd tier.   The Conservative Government has to defend the Country, that means spending whatever it takes to fund the army and to fund our moral obligations to the Ukraine.   That various UK Governments have cut down the army, well it's time to open the WALLET, the army has to be increased, the Government should bring back national service, the conscripts might then learn to read and write and to have manners.  Thus you increase the Army two fold, then help with education and those that have not gone to Uni can go in the Army to do their service.  These are perilous times with the Ukraine War, the threat to Taiwan from China, that Iran will go nuclear, and North Korea is a wild CARD.  Thus you need a good defence.

Lets Get Real:

The Poles understand that if Russia is successful in the Ukraine they could be NEXT on the target list, thus they are sending 60 of their own tanks and those bought from Germany.  The Poles and the Baltic States understand the threat, they were under USSR control after WORLD WAR TWO, they understand Russian rule, and thus want and need to see the Ukraine win.  The West might find that tanks was easy compared for the call from the Ukraine for modern WESTERN fighter jets, that would be a tough call, that would allow the Kyiv Government to attack inside Russia prober, that is going to take some talks between the US and Kyiv and also NATO as  a whole.   The West might agree only if the Ukraine does not enter Russian air space, that would be tough considering the damage done by Russia to the Ukraine.  That could lead to World War 3, it will be YEAR soon since the start of the War, did any one think we would be here, Putin did not, he thought short WAR and a WIN, it shows  how out of touch Putin is, when will the Russian people revolt over him and his regime.

This is a scare story, we are not even close to a World War 3, that threat will only come about if and when the US and NATO sends troops in to the Ukraine, and that is the last thing that the West wants.  This is NOT LBJ in sending in the Marines at the start of the Vietnam War, the West is just supplying TANKS, and the Ukraine tanks crews will be taught how to run the UK, German, US, and Polish tanks.  This is will take time, one hopes not to much time.  The Russians are getting ready for a new offensive once the land thaws after winter, the Russians have an endless supply of men, it should be noted that they have not been trained and hardly know how to use their guns.  Also many young Russian men are heading for the border, they do not want to be part of Putin's WAR with the Ukraine.  The only time Putin will use nuclear material is if faces a coup within inside the Kremlin and wants to shows he is a strong leader.  In that case he might use a dirty bomb in the Ukraine or in the West, just to show that he is that ruthless.  That would be  BIG MISTAKE, then NATO would react and with FORCE and Putin cannot win that WAR.

As the article notes, Putin's Kremlin is looking for a new offensive before the West can place its tanks in the Ukraine, as the above article notes the Kremlin does not care about the past losses and future losses, it is going with the idea that a long war, in the form of WW1 will favour Russia. It seems that Putin that " that world renowned historian " does not recall what happened to Tsar Nicholas II, he was overthrown because he was not winning in the trenches and the people at home were suffering due to the lack of food, so far the Russian people have fallen for Putin's PR, only a few clever people have worked out that Russia in the agresor and have ended up in jail for just saying the word WAR in public.  Also the Russian people are being feed and the economy is in recovery mode after the Western sanctions.  Thus the Kremlin is going for WW1 case study, what the Kremlin has forgotten, is was when the US came into the WAR with its troops did the WAR turn.  At some point Putin will do something daft, use WMD or nukes, that will drag the US in and mean the end of Putin.  Thus as stated the above article, the Ukraine faces years of WAR, the Russian people must wake up sometime.

This has been expected since last night, 31 Abrams Tanks will take some time to learn, the Germans tanks are closer and will be easier to learn for the Ukraine Soldiers.  One should expect more Countries to join in sending tanks to the Ukraine, as already announced, the UK is sending its Challenger 2 tanks, the Poles have stated they will send tanks.  The President of the Ukraine has stated he needs around 300 tanks, he might not get that much, but close to enough to help the Ukraine forces push back the expected Russian offensive after the winter.  The next issue on the agenda will be fighter jets, the Ukraine Air Force and Drone operators have shown great skill and courage in opposition to the Russian Air Force.  The Russians have thrown a fit over the tanks, as expected, but they do not actually do anything as with previous threats, one assumes the Bidne Oval has told them, if they go nuclear or WMD then all bets are off and NATO would come it, also the Russians get their supplies from North Korea and Iran, China from reports is keeping a low profile, it does not want to be associated with a defeat if the Ukraine wins.  Thus what will Putin do, one is sure the question is being asked in Putin's Kremlin right now!

He is widely expected to announce plans to send at least 30 of America's advanced combat vehicles to Ukraine  "

Thus the good news that the Kyiv Government and the rest of NATO has been waiting for, the Germans will sent their modern tanks and that will be followed by the US.  Of late one has to be fair to Germany, they are the 2nd largest economic funding for the Ukraine and have given a lot of military kit, this latest development shows that Germany can be a economic and military power and they are on the right side this time.  The Biden Oval also needs some praise, they have done what no one expected, the sending of the M1 tanks to Germany, that tank as a get engine, that will take time to learn how to drive.  One can expect other Countries to follow suit.  The Russians are not happy, well they did start the Ukraine War, they will be worried that their tanks is no match for Western tanks, let's hope the Ukraine uses the tanks in a effective manner, also it will test out Western Tanks in actual combat, the West might learn a few lessons.  It is time for the Ukraine to kick Russian backsides, let's hope they win, otherwise we could face World War 3 if Putin wins.
