The THREAT from a North Korean ICBM - North Korean Crisis

BBC News: Reports " North Korea says it has successfully tested its first "intercontinental ballistic missile" (ICBM). "

Lets Get Real:

There are only two options open to the US when it comes to North Korea, talks with evil regime or take out the ICBM threat from North Korea.  If the Oval does a deal with North Korea the Democrats will call Trump an appeaser in the mold of Neville Chamberlain,  the hawks in the Republican Party will also rebel against Trump.   Thus we come back to the military option, any action could be costly and deadly for Asia and the US.   Thus what time frame are we looking at, well the US has two aircraft carriers in Asia, the Oval will want to know can North Korea place a missile on top of its ICBM, and how long before it can hit the East and West Coasts of the US.  This crisis is a ticking bomb, it could go either way. 

Labour SPLIT over Brexit - Post Election 2017

THERE are splits within the Labour Party and the Conservative Party when it comes to Brexit, this was shown when a Labour backbencher tried to change the Queen's speech, the resolution called for the UK to stay in the single market, the Labour leadership told its members not to vote, thus the idea died a death in the House of Commons.  Jeremy Corbyn's one good idea in his entire political career is for the UK to get out of the EU.  That gives him a problem, as he tries to get support from those that want to Remain in the EU and those Northern members who want to leave.  The Brexit process will take two years, there will be more problems for both Parties over that time period. 

President Trump vs. CNN - Below the Dignity of the Oval Office

Lets Get Real:

This battle between the White House and the TV press is below the dignity of this blog never mind the Oval Office, one has to assume that there is a grown up in Washington D.C who could get the sides to back off, it does not help the Presidency or the press to be at this level of War, it is almost trench warfare, there are no winners, the only winners are the enemies of the US, and this could lead an enemy to miss read the warfare and do something stupid, think North Korea and you get the idea or even Iran.  The Trump Oval should LEARN how Presidents Kennedy and Reagan dealt with the press, the press covered for Kennedy's affairs as they liked and supported him, while Reagan tried to make friends with them, while the press should report the news not make it, CNN in its evening shows are out to get Trump, there is no hiding that FACT, that is not news!!  IF the press are going to play dirty then the Oval will fight fire with fire.   That is the modern way.

The Doctor Falls - Doctor Who Review ( Spoilers )

THERE ARE SPOILERS:

Thus we find the Doctor at the mercies of the Master, he gets knocked out, but before being knocked out changes what the Cybermen are looking for, not people with one heart but two, e.g Time Lords, the Missy and the Master find that they need to be saved by the Doctor's other companion.   Next we find Bill in a Barn, she thinks she is still human, but then is shown a mirror and sees that she has become a cyberman.   Bill tells the Doctor that they are not going to get out of this one.  The she does not want to become a 100% Cyberman. The Doctor, Bill, Missy and the Master then fight Cybermen as a way to defend children from the Cybermen.   The Doctor asks Missy and the Master to stay with him, the Master with great relish says NO.  Missy is not too sure and they walk away.   The Doctor makes sure the children get away, while he and Bill have one final fight against the Cybermen, the Doctor goes through his past victories, but at the end he is killed by the Cybermen.   Bill finds his corpse in the war devastation, she hopes he is alive, then Heather turns up and offers her a get out, they return the Doctor to the TARDIS. Bill and Heather leave to travel the galaxy.   The Doctor recovers he does not want to change, he likes being the original in this new regeneration cycle, then the TARDIS lands and the Doctor starts to transform, he stops it, and who comes around the corner but the first Doctor, as that Doctor says he is a Doctor.  Thus the Christmas special to come.   This was a fantastic episode for the TARDIS crew, the Doctor got to fight the good fight against all the odds, Bill found a Mate, the Master and Missy killed each other, I think the Master will be back.   A thrilling show, if you were out, watch this episode on BBC I player.   The best thing on Saturday. 

Obey Rule of Jeremy Corbyn - Post Election 2017

Guardian - Live Reporting: Reports in its 6.41pm post the following, " Jeremy Corbyn has asserted his authority over Labour by sacking frontbenchers who were among the 50 MPs who defied the whip and backed the UK staying in the single market.  "

Lets Get Real:

It seems that the constant revolter Jeremy Corbyn has forgotten his time of rebelling, he expects his MPs to do as they are told, that is why you never give a left wing any power, they are alright if they are protesting, but once they are in power they expected their orders to be followed.   The next two years are going to be fraught in the House of Commons when it comes to the matter of Brexit, in those two years there could be By - elections, thus the House of Commons maths will differ over time.  The British loath the EU, so any time there is a row between the UK and the EU, those wanting a HARD Brexit will gain support.  Of course the question is can the May government last for five years, one has doubts. 

Labour Divisions over Single Market - Post Election 2017

Daily Mail: Reports " Labour's Brexit shambles deepens as Corbyn SACKS three shadow ministers for joining a rebellion of 49 MPs who defied his policy to vote in favour of Britain STAYING in the single market  "

This shows the divisions in the Labour Party, its leader Jeremy Corbyn has always wanted out of the EU, a minority of this MPs take a different view, even Shadow Ministers have been sacked.   The issue of the EU divides the Conservative Party and the Labour Party, it will be interesting to see over the next two years how Labour votes, they will try to cause problems but will not want to be seen as thwarting the will of the Voter in the EU vote of 2016.  This blog noticed that the BBC did not mention the sackings, they might later on, as the readers of this blog are aware this blog does not trust the BBC, the left of the Guardian and the BBC do not represent the UK voter, they represent a small minority of an elite.   There will be more votes in the House of Commons, more close votes.

The Queen's Speech Passed - Post Election 2017

BBC News: Reports " The minority Conservative government has survived its first major Parliamentary test after its Queen's Speech cleared the House of Commons. "

Lets Get Real:

Thus most interesting vote of the Queen's speech was the Amendment by a Labour MP for the UK to stay within the EU Single Market, it was defeated,  this is not the policy of Labour leadership, the Labour Leadership instructed their MPs not to vote for the measure.   This asks an interesting question, as we go through the Brexit process what is the Labour Policy, will they vote for the UK to leave the Single Market and the Customs Union, if it is it could cause a split within the Labour Party as well as the Conservative Party.   It is great to see the House of Commons back in charge.
