Here again we have the urban elite press stating a story is not true after ONE day, there have been no investigations, no witness before a US Congressional Committee,  NOTHING.   It does not matter of the story is TRUE OR NOT, the press should be digging, not taking a Statement from a former President as proof that NOTHING HAPPENED.   The elite press is out to get Trump, they do not care if there are counter stories.   This is why the US press has the lowest rating in the US, they VOTER does not trust them, it is about time the press woke up and smelled the coffee, otherwise the people will move and take their news form sources they trust.

It is interesting that the Clinton News Network otherwise known as CNN is calling the Trump allegations baseless within the day, if one went back and checked the headlines of the NYT and Washington Post one would be surprised to see if they called the Watergate allegations baseless after a day.   The elite press have a  love affair with the Clintons and the Obama's, how about taking your time to say if a story is true, the fact that the press is willing to take a denial at face value shows how out of touch the press are in the US.  ALL the allegations should be investigated, in depth and under Oath, then we can say they have been investigated.

Lets Get Real:

It would be first for a newspaper to take a blanket denial as the first answer.  The newspapers have to check with their sources, and also if they have them with the NSA.  The urban elite press needs to get some bonus points with the American people, thus it should dig, the Watergate team of the 1970s took months to get to the story.   Just because the press love President Obama, they need his denial to be backed up by 2nd sources.   The US Congress has a lot to investigate, there is the links between Trump and the Russians, the Russian hacking of the DNC and the Clinton Campaign, and now the allegation from the White House that President Obama ordered the tapping of the Trump Campaign.  IF Trump has some confirmation it is important that he release the information.   These allegations could take months and could lead nowhere!!

It is all out WAR between President Trump and President Obama, a statement by Obama refutes the allegation, why did he not appear himself, interesting question.  As a diversion it is one hell of attack, the press can not discount, they will have to check, they do not want o be seen as urban elites who would never even take on a former President.   The Russian connection to Trump seems small fry, there is no there there, as our American cousins say, low level links, not a deep covert op.   The Russians are not going to admit to any wrongdoing, so who can be turned to give the dirt on the President, this could go on for months and months.   Vice President Pence, could find himself in the Oval faster than the thinks.

As to the present alleged scandal the Court is still out on that, lets us take it as a given that the NSA bugs everyone ALL the time ( if your reading this, hi chaps ).  The kind readers of this blog recall the Watergate and its background, but let refresh those memories.   In 1968 the Nixon Campaign influenced the Government of South Vietnam not to attend the Paris Peace talks, this was caught by US intelligence, this information was given to President Johnson and he was peeved, and that is a understatement, but he decided not to move as this would produce a political crisis for the new Nixon Administration, also it gave a LBJ a hold over Nixon.   It must also be stated that the LBJ ordered the FBI to bug both Nixon and the Democratic Nominee, he wanted to know if they were going to break with him when it came to Vietnam.   Thus we come to 1972, the Nixon Campaign wanted to know what dirty information the Dems had on Nixon, thus the break in at the Watergate, the 2nd attempt lead to the arrest of those breakers in, from there you have to tail that leads to the end of Richard Nixon.

Sessions Recuses himself from Russian Connections Scandal - Trump Era

The Hill: Reports " Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced Thursday he will recuse himself from federal investigations into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election. "

Lets Get Real:

The Democrats are creating a New Cold War 2, no one is Washington on the political side will want to talk to the Russian Ambassador.   The Democrats have suddenly become hawks, a Russian connection to the 2016 vote has not been proven.   Of course the Russians hacked the DNC and the Clinton Camp, no one is debating that, the point is that there is no proof that the Russian action changed one vote.   The Democrats are furious with the 2016 vote, they were supposed to WIN, the fact they lost and why has been lost in the shouts that it was the fault of the Russians.   The is NO proof that the Russians hacked the voting system, even the Democrats are not stating that, but when there is a crisis between the US and Russia, the doves in the Democratic Party have created a monster, the hawks will win as they will be afraid of the present reaction.

The President, Congress and AG Sessions - Trump Era

CNN - Politics: Reports " Several Republicans, many of them increasingly uneasy about the implications of the evolving Russian drama, Thursday called on Sessions to recuse himself from any involvement in an FBI probe into ties between the Trump campaign and Moscow. "

Lets Get Real:

The President is standing by Sessions, the Republicans calling for the AG to recuse himself should get a backbone, AG Sessions has stated that he will recuse himself at the right time, otherwise you have the elite press controlling what the AG looks at and what he passes to his deputy.   The Democrats want a Special Prosecutor so they can fish for any damaging information on Donald Trump and the Administration.   The President should whip the Republicans in the House and the Senate to be firm, the US voter does not care about this kind of process, its a witch hunt, it shows how low the Democrats have gotten, think if the the shoe was on the other foot, they Dems would be saying it was unfair RED scare, it's just politics at the end of the day.
