The UK Cabinet starts to RESIGN on MASS ? - After Brexit

Lets Get Real:

THIS has never happened before, a PM refusing to go when he has lost the support of his CABINET, also let's recall that the PM has lost 38 junior Ministers and Parliamentary Private Secretaries, those roles will need to be filled, while also having a ACTIVE GOVERNMENT.   The PM should think about this over the night, does he really want to lose a confidence vote, it would be the WORSE way to go out, if he resigns he can follow the THATCHER route and say he was betrayed by his CABINET and if anything goes wrong then he would have taken a difference decision.   There must be someone he listens too, Lady Thatcher listened to her husband who advised her to go in November 1990, after falling a few votes short in a election contest, Blair went in 2007 when junior ministers resigned,  Blair called them in his memoirs of being in the cult of Gordon Brown.  It is reported on the BBC that the Foreign and Defence Secretaries are staying, also the Home Secretary, and she also told Boris to go.  A few fun hours ahead folks.

PM Boris WONT leave the STAGE - After Brexit

Lets Get Real:

It has been a tough day for the PM, there was PMQs were he faced arrows from, his own side, and the Liaison Committee who treated our PM with total disrespect, and that was from his own side.   The PM sees that he has a mandate from the people in 2019 and wants to carry on.  The PM is now talking to Cabinet Ministers, a group has been sent with the brandy and revolver to force the PM out, if they resign that will be a further problem as 38 Ministers and PPS have resigned from his government since yesterday.   The PM is on his way out, this post might be old before its even posted, it depends how he wants to go out, does he want to force the 1922 Committee to change it rules to allow for another vote of no confidence, he think's that he can change the maths before the vote, it is a possibility, any other PM would have gone by NOW.  The next few hours or days will be very interesting.

PM Boris goes on the ATTACK against his former Chancellor - After Brexit

Lets Get Real:

Thus the PM comes out swinging, he blames the former Chancellor for opposing TAX CUTS, will the Conservative back MPs really fall for that political gimmick, one doubts, if they have a leadership contest then the candidates can promise what they want, and the MPs get free TV coverage of the different policies.  On the other hand, it depends who the PM appoints as his new Chancellor, will it be someone who can stand up to the PM or just do what he or she is told.  One would love to be a fly on the wall in the House of Commons, the MPs will wonder how to jump, do they force the PM out over the night or do they wait for things to calm down.  Also TAX CUTS always go down well with the voters.  It must be stated, the PM is a fighter, but even his political luck was bound to fail sooner or later, one can postulate that the PM will be OUT within hours.

The LAST HOURS of PM Boris ? - After Brexit

Lets Get Real:

One doubts that PM Boris will go in a quite manner, he will fight to the very end, he has spent his life wanting this job and will not go down without a FIGHT.  Also the men in grey will be locked out of 10 Downing Street.  It was a shocking development that the Chancellor and Health Secretary went at the same time, it has been reported that it is not a plot by the two men, the now ex Chancellor was once seen as the heir to the PM, but the Chancellor has increased taxes to the highest in decades and his wife is very rich, that did not go down well with the voters.  Thus any leadership ambitions will have to wait, the resignation of the Health Secretary was a shock, let's recall that before Health Secretary, Sajid Javid had been Chancellor before he reigned over his communication team, it was the PM who bought him back, and this is the loyalty shown, it shows you that politicians should never been loyal to fellow politicians, they are fair weather friends, who will stab you in the back when it suits them.   The PM has to look in to the mirror, and not just think about himself but the Country as a whole, this mess has to end with his resignation as PM and then support someone who will follow his policies.

PM Boris on the WAY OUT - Just Hours - After Brexit

BBC News - Live Blog: Reports on the political crisis faced by the UK PM, his Chancellor and Health Secretary have resigned over the latest political crisis story, the BBC report the following in its 6.54pm post, " Will be over by this time tomorrow, PM ally says....One of Boris Johnson’s closest allies tells me: "It will all be over by this time tomorrow...."No PM can survive the resignation of two senior cabinet ministers like that."  "

Lets Get Real:

PM Boris in his last hours in 10 DOWNING STREET, it was never going to be a happy ending for Boris, in this case he was loyal to two of his MPs, a great PM must have the ability to be a good butcher as one of the PM's Conservative predecessors stated.  One day it will be interesting for the Boris to do an interview and to be asked did his previous mistakes make him more willing to support those members of his Party in trouble.  The Conservative MPs if they have a brain, will chose who they want to be the next leader, and tell the PM his time is up.  The 1922 Committee elections are soon, the anti Boris crowd should win a majority of the seats, they will change the rules and the PM will face another No Confidence Vote, this time he will lose, it would better for ALL concerned even Boris for him to go and support a candidate who is a Brexit supporter and can unite most of the Party.  Those Conservative MPs who want to run in the following leadership contest after Boris is gone, must come under pressure to support a single candidate, the UK is in trouble, thus this is 1940 moment for Conservative MPs, they need to back the one candidate.  There is a general election in 2024, the Party must regroup.   As long as the Party does not chose a remainer it should win in 2024.   Poor Boris, it was tough period in office since the 2019 election, he just run out of luck, it happens to all politicians, Thatcher in 1990 and Blair in 2007.

Labour's CHANGE over Brexit - After Brexit

Lets Get Real:

The Labour Party is still waiting for the result of the Durham Police investigation as to see if Sir Keir broke COVID RULES, that goes for the Deputy Leader also, let's presume Sir Keir is in the CLEAR, then does one really trust Sir Keir, let's recall a few years back he wanted a 2nd vote on Brexit and supported Corbyn, then ran as a candidate who was Corbyn light, but since then has move the Labour Party policy from Defence to Brexit, if Sir Keir wins the 2024 election what is to say that he will have a change of mind and decide to move the UK closer to the EU.  The Labour Leader must REALLY CLEAR that he understands BREXIT MEANS BREXIT.  This blog expects more evidence of that over the next few months and years. The LEFT WING media, BBC News and Guardian will not be happy, they have never recovered from the that BREXIT VOTE.

Luhansk Update - Ukraine - Russian War - New Cold War 2

BBC New - Live Blog: Reports in its 12.37pm post the following,Losing Luhansk 'a setback for Ukraine'.....The main news out of Ukraine today is the fall over the weekend of the strategically important city of Lysychansk in the eastern region of Luhansk - part of the industrial area known as the Donbas - which Russia says it is fighting to "liberate".  "

Lets Get Real:

It has not been a good few days for the Kyiv Government, it has lost numerous cities in the Donbas Region, it did retake SNAKE ISLAND, but these victories are few, the Biden Oval will have to decide sooner or late, to either cut bait, that mean no more high class military weapons for the Ukraine or start to send in combat troops, the US and the West must have gone through their stores of defensive weapons, it will take Western troops to push the Russian back, its coming sooner or later, with the US its always LATER, in 1917 and 1941, at least this time the UK does not have combat troops in the fight, but how long can that last. If Putin is ILL, he will want to take as much of East Ukraine as possible, the West must rearm the Kyiv Government, or it could become a LONG WAR of attrition, the Russians have the men while the West has the weapons for now, something has to give either on the military side or the political side.
