The above is FALSE, NATO is a defensive body, it will not start a WAR but will react to an invasion of a member, the Ukraine is not a member. The Kremlin is skilled at LIES, the only aim for Putin is to reform the OLD USSR or the Russian Empire. The invasion of the Crimea in 2014 was illegal, before that it was 2008 and parts of Georgia. The question that has to be asked is what does Putin want, he knows that his demands will not be meet, if NATO agreed it was lose all its authority. The Putin aim is to cause division within NATO, yesterday the Hungarian PM was in Moscow, he got cheaper gas, he is holding the threat of NO GAS for Germany if it goes along with sanctions. The UK and the US should react if they had stronger leaders, the placement of US/UK troops in the West of Ukraine would stop Putin in his tracks. Thus World is suffering by not having strong leaders. Churchill and Reagan will be turning in their graves at this Ukraine Crisis.
