The US should be sending troops to the Ukraine, sending troops to NATO Countries only protects those Countries, and one has to assume that Putin is not mad enough to attack a NATO Country. Thus a attack on the Ukraine looks more likely, the West has stated it will not send troops to the Ukraine, and it can be said in Russian history books, that Putin has reunited the Ukraine with the Russia writ large. Of course the sending of the troops could be used by Putin a PR, he can argue falsely that NATO is the threat and that Moscow is reacting, that is the problem when you are dealing with the cyber world, by the time a lie is stated it is around the World and some simple folk will believe it, one hopes Twitter will block Putin, as all he says are lies. At the Biden Oval is moving, not enough, but then you have to be grateful for some action by Biden.
