The Hill: Reports that the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives Steny Hoyer has stated that he is open to leaving out a public option for health reform. This will make Liberals go bonkers, but the Congressional Leadership of the Democratic Party would like to be the majority party after the 2010, thus it seems the town hall meetings have had some effect on the Blue Dog Democrats in the House. Thus does President Obama have the votes to push health care reform through the House and Senate without Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats, the next couple of weeks will tell the political environment after the recess of Congress.

The Public Option on Health Reform - What do Democrats Want ?
