The Times: Reports that both President Karzai and his main opponent, Dr Abdullah Abdullah claim victory in the Presidential Election in Afghanistan. It can be argued that one way or another that President Karzai will win, the West knows him, in essence better the devil you know, thus either fairly or through a Chicago Fix it will be another term for President Karzai. It will be up to Karzai to turn Afghanistan around, if need be talk to moderate Taliban, the next few years will decide how long the USA and the UK will have to stay in Afghanistan.
