Kennedy, Reagan the great modern Presidents in their time had Administrative meltdowns, from the mess that was the Bay of Pigs of Cuba and Vietnam for Kennedy and Iran - Contra for Reagan, it how you come back that matters not that you have either a personal or political defeat.
