Lets Get Real:

The TALKS between the Russian and the Ukraine might be going well, but the Russians have not backed off in their attack on the Cities in Ukraine, the inept Russian Army is destroying KYIV very slowly, the Russians are following an old strategy, surround the cities and make sure they have no power for heat, no food or water, hitting soft targets, like schools and hospitals and to crush any resistance among the population, they are using various weapons that are not very good on individual targets, thus the carnage in the Ukraine as everything becomes a TARGET.  The brave Ukraine people represent the whole of Europe, they must not quit, or Putin might turn his eyes to Poland or the Baltic States, NATO members, any attack on a NATO MEMBER is an attack on the whole membership.  Thus the West expects Ukraine Army and people to fight the Russian Bear, at least the West is supplying arms and weapons to the KYIV Government.  Putin must lose in the Ukraine and be seen to lose, then the World can breath again, otherwise we face WW3 in the future.

Lets Get Real:

The Russians have defaulted twice before, in 1917 due to the Russian Revolution and in 1998, that was more a technical default and the Russians were bailed out by the IMF then, not this time, and of course it would help the WEST to see Russia default, the West has to place pressure on the Russian people, make their daily lives irksome and difficult, get them out on the street to demonstrate against Putin and his regime.  It will be interesting to see WHAT PUTIND does, he has threatened  to take over the business's that have LEFT Russia due to the Ukraine invasion, that would be a disaster for Russia, than would mean that the WEST could not trust a future Russian Government and the Russian economy would take a hard kick, thus a depression in the long term.  That is why Putin might not take over these industries that have LEFT, he wants to get Russian back to his normal.   The Russian people are going to pay for the action of Putin and Regime, the Ukraine could be his downfall as World War 1 was the downfall of Tsar Nicholas 11 of Russia.

Lets Get Real:

The Russian PLAN A has been a disaster, the quick trip to KYIV has been stalled by the BRAVE Army of Ukraine, they are fighting for their COUNTRY, the Russians are fighting for Putin, a lesser need it can be considered for those drafted in to the Russian Army.  That fact that the Kremlin had to ask for HELP in financial terms and military terms show how far the PLAN A has gone astray.  Also let's point that the Russian Soldiers are suffering from the lack of food and heat, one would have thought the Putin who likes his own history, would have recalled what happened to the Nazi Germany Army in its invasion of the Soviet Union in 1941, the ARMIES share the same problem, their logistics are not keeping up and the money that Putin has spent on the Army has failed.  The firing of missiles near the Polish border shows how worried Putin is, the Ukraine military base is a few miles from the POLISH BORDER a NATO member, Putin knows that if he does not win this WAR, a WAR of choice his head will be on the chopping block.  Also a single mistake could get NATO involved, no one wants that, but if it happens, NATO will kick the Russian but in the Ukraine.  World War 3 might have already started and we do not know it yet.

Lets Get Real:

Is WMD a red line by the Biden Oval, let's recall that President Obama stated he had a red line in Syria should the Assad Regime use WMD, and when the Assad Regime used WMD on rebels, the Obama did not follow through, it can be postulated that Obama after getting the Nobel Peace Prize for doing NOTHING, could not check his ego to react to the use of WMD.  Of let's also recall that the Vice - President was Joe Biden, the present President, Joe Biden has come across as a frightened OLD MAN of late, he does not want to cause WW3, but his every declaration on the subject allows Putin to think that he can ACT as he wants as the Biden Oval is WEAK.  IF WMD is a red line, the Biden Oval should be CLEAR, otherwise the comments by the US National Security Advisor will be seen as empty threat by a Administration afraid of its OWN shadow.

The FAILURE of the RUSSIAN MILITARY PLAN could be forcing Putin to have REAL TALKS with the Kiev Government, on the other hand, the new shelling of the West by the Russians and the surrounding of KIEV could be the REAL RUSSIAN position, they might say they are ready for talks but what do they want, that the Kiev Government accept that the Crimea is part of Russia and that the separatists States are really free, the Russians have also stated that the Ukraine Army must be reduced and a Kiev Government must be formed that is favourable to Russia.  The Russians should get NOTHING, how many men, women and children have they killed, how many TOWNS and CITIES have been destroyed, how many WAR CRIMES have been committed, the cost of the damage has be postulated at a hundred and billion dollars, will the Kremlin pay that back or expect the West to rebuild Ukraine.  And the most important question, would the Ukraine be allowed to join NATO and the EU, if the Russians have a VETO then the Ukraine has lost.  It is time for the Ukraine to stand tall, not give an inch.

A barrage of Russian missiles have struck a military base, in Yavoriv, close to the border with Poland, killing 35 people.....More fighting is also continuing in outskirts north of the capital Kyiv, as it braces for a possible encirclement by Russian forces.  "

Lets Get Real:

The Russians are going in for the kill, a better way to write it is that Putin sees the Ukraine as a THREAT to his Regime and he is right to be worried, although Putin controls the media in Russia, he does not control the WORLD MEDIA, in these modern days younger Russian people will know if they want to know what is happening in the outside world, how ever much the Kremlin tries to control the narrative.  Thus Putin really needs to a WIN in the Ukraine, he will destroy the Ukraine to save it, the Kremlin cannot understand the difference between its own PR spin and the real world.  Thus the move to attack the West and close enough to the Polish border.  The Polish President has stated that if the Kremlin uses chemical weapons then NATO will have to review its stand.  In many respects the Ukraine people and Kiev Government have a simple aim, to be a free, democratic State and looking to the West for it future.  Thus they will fight in till the last man or city.  Putin has placed his head on the chopping block, if the Army fails in the Ukraine then Putin is finished.  The lack of a backbone by POTUS in the US is shown by Biden telling the Russians what the US will not do, it would be better if Biden did not say a word, that would cause doubt in the Kremlin of how far Russians could go in the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

One does question the sanity of the French and German LEADERS, Putin knows the score, if he loses in the Ukraine or the Russian people wake up the mass murder that he has committed then he is TOAS and Russia has a brutal way of getting rid of leaders WHO FAIL at WAR.  Thus Putin will destroy the Ukraine in way to save it and himself.  The Western Leaders are talking to a MAD MAN, and such talks help him think that if he can win this war in a quick and brutal manner then the West will come back and the sanctions will be removed.  One does have to wonder how the French and German LEADERS do not understand that, the Russian LEADER must lose and be seen to lose or it could lead to WW3.  It seems modern leaders do not understand history, that goes for POTUS, the UK PM and other Western leaders.
