Lets Get Real:

The Guardian having a Royal story, are they all right in the office, okay its 35o years late, but at least the Guardian is showing a Royal Story.  This case King Charles 11, the merry monarch as a gift gave flemish fisherman right in the UK waters.   As this blog is a firm royalist, one should consider giving Belgian fisherman some extra rights in the UK waters.  It must not be said that the UK does not keep the word of its King ( no this blog has not lost the plot ) the UK is a monarchy that goes back a a thousand years, with a minor exception in the 17th Century, this blog supports the granting of the above concessions, as long as the Belgian boats are small and not massive ships of today, also powered by wind, there are concessions and concessions. 

Trump is burning the House down as he loses US Presidential Election - US Presidential Election

Lets Get Real:

Trump or his campaign staff must KNOW its OVER, that Biden could wing BIG in a couple of weeks time, the Republican Party has to look after itself, it should make sure that the Republican Senate approves Trump's selection for the US Supreme Court, that will go down well with the Republican base and might save a few Republican Senators, the House in the view of the polls will remain Democratic.  The Republicans need to argue that a Republican Senate would prevent the Democrats packing the US Supreme Court with LIBERAL judges.  One does wonder how Trump will cope will losing, will he grown up or will he have to be dragged from the White House.  The same goes for his supporters, will they accept a President Biden, the 46th President of the United States.

Lets Get Real:

This is the EU playing pressure on the UK, the PM's deadline of the 15th of October is coming up soon.  The EU wants to play in to the long grass, this is their typical MO, then the force the other side to back down.   This time the PM has to be FIRM, we get a free trade deal or we walk, cut taxes for business and make the UK the place to do business, while the EU is in the COLD.  These endless talks have gone on long enough, if there was a deal it would have happened by NOW. TIME TO WALK.  At the end of the day, the fish in the UK wasters are British Fish and its up to the UK government to decide what support we give to business.

Our PM has to be firm about the 15th of October deadline, he has to be careful that he is not being played by the EU, the diplomatic core in Brussels thinks the UK is bluffing, the UK has to make them aware we might be Mad Dogs and English Men ( Welsh I prefer ) but when we are serious we are serious, we are not bluffing, either we have the ground work for a deal or the UK is OUT.   The EU has played this game to many times, and always the other Countries submit, not this time.  Our cards are on the table, its our way or the high way, and we take out fish with us, OUR WATERS, OUR FISH. 

POTUS BACK in the Oval - US Presidential Election

One gets the impression that TRUMP has just give up and he is going to take the White House DOWN WITH HIM, he is breaking COVID - 19 rules and is under the impression that he is immune NOW, that is WRONG, the virus comes and goes and you can get the disease again.  Tonight we see the VP debates, VP Pence verses Senator Harris.  The VP must KNOW that the fight is over, and he will be setting out his store for 2024 and his own run for the White House, while Harris has to give the impression that she can take over from Biden should he lose it sometime during his first term.  Thus in many respects we are seeing the future leaders of the US, one hopes it is a better debate than the one between Trump and Biden.

Lets Get Real:

As Sky News is just after BBC News when it comes to REMAIN CENTRAL, one has to careful that they over reading something they want, that is the same with the BBC, if by next week it is clear that there can be NO DEAL, expect the BBC and Sky to blame the UK Government, that is their default position.  That is why a new 24/7 news channel welcome.   Of course if there can be an agreement with the EU, that is good, it would help with COVID - 19 but not at any cost.  The UK after December 31st can start to do new trade deals around the World.   The US will be difficult, with Biden in the White House the Oval with look to the Republic of Ireland for its default position.  Brexit NEVER gets boring!!

Lets Get Real:

If you keep up with the BREXIT NEWS, either we are darn close to a DEAL or the PM is about to walk away.   The PM has set a 15th of October deadline for either a deal or the UK walks.  The PM has to be careful that the EU is not playing him, keeping him in talks as a way to get a better deal at the end.   If by the 15th talks are going nowhere, the PM should walk, treat the EU as it has treated the UK for years if not decades.   If the problem is FISH, then the PM can not grant to many concessions, otherwise it will look a sell out to the EU.  The economic damage done by COVID - 19 can not be as BAD as a NO DEAL BREXIT, the UK is always strong by itself, its a position we have been before.
