The House of Lords vs. The House of Commons - Brexit Bill - 31st January 2020

Lets Get Real:

The House of Lords has to be taught a lesson, it can not thwart the will of the UK voter, this has been shown in the 2016 vote and the recent General Election, if the House of Lords is playing games it should be warned that the Government will use the Parliament Act to force the Brexit Bill through.   The HARD REMAINERS in the LORDS have lost the plot, about time that they were moved to the North, York etc.  The House of Commons is expected to overturn the changes, let's hope the House of Lords gets the message.

Lets Get Real:

The House of Lords has shown its True Remain colours, it is trying to thwart BREXIT, the Government has to show who has the whip hand, it should overturn the House of Lords in the Commons and make it clear that any more frustration then the Lords will be SENT UP NORTH, and with half pay and no travel expenses.   The UK voter expects to leave the EU on the 31st January, any delay by the House of Lords will be seen as arrogance and the Lords being out of touch.  The PM has to be firm with them.   The Labour Party candidates for the leadership should be forced to say if they support the move by the Lords.

It seems the House of Lords has not got the message, the UK VOTED to leave the EU in 2016 and confirmed that in the 2019 General Election.  The House of Commons can overturn the actions of the House of Lords, the Lords should be made aware that the Government will use the Parliament Act to force the Brexit Bill through if needed.  The Parliament Act forces the House of Lords to accept the Government line on laws. It is a good idea to send the House of Lords to the North, will get them out of the Westminster bubble.  Or Remain central as it is called by this blog. 

Doctor Who Nikola Tesla's Night of Terror - Doctor Who Review - No Spoilers

Lets Get Real:

This was a fast moving episode, the Doctor meet Nikola Tesla,  a great inventor before his time, and also the opposition in the shape of Thomas Edison.   Of course the Tesla name today is known from the non fuel cars.  It was interesting to see how the show dealt with the histories of the two men, Tesla was the businessman who could mass produce inventions while Teslea as the lone genius, Edison stated that the British never understood business, was that a hint at Brexit.   The Alien THREAT was not that great, they stole what they wanted, the Doctor has no difficulty in stopping them.  One can not go into much detail as that would spoil the show.   This episode is worth watching twice for the great script, acting and you pick up some historical nuggets.  

The overnight ratings can be misleading, it is better to check the numbers after those that  have watched it on Iplayer or other devices. 

Sanders LEADS in New Hampshire - Election 2020

The Hill: Reports " Sanders registered 23 percent support among Democratic primary voters in the state, a slight drop from the 26 percent he carried in a similar poll conducted in November. But Buttigieg slightly bigger dip, falling from 22 percent support in November to 18 percent.  "

It can be postulated that Speaker Pelosi is the least favourite person in the Sanders camp at the moment, the Senate Impeachment Trial starts this week and Senators Sanders will be off the campaign for weeks, right smack in the Iowa and NH elections.  The US Senators did not have the balls to tell Pelosi to get a move on, thus they are stuck in D.C, this will open the field for Biden and Mayor Pete, they should spend every hour of every day in Iowa and NH, their faces should drive the poor voters mad, that is the way to win in these States, they have seen the greats before, they all come to NH to either kickstart their campaign or save their campaign, even Reagan after not entering IOWA in 1980 had to stop Bush 41 in NH, the rest is history.  Bill Clinton was saved his campaign in 1992 and become the nominee.  This is the time for Biden and Mayor Pete to show they the gifts in this open field to take the PRIZE and end Sanders and Warren while they sulk in D.C.  Politics is a ruthless business. 

Trump is a CLOWN - Evil Speaks Part 2 - Iran Crisis - Middle East

Sky News: Reports on a sermon by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, " Delivering his first sermon in eight years in Tehran, the top cleric branded Donald Trump a "clown" who only pretended to support the Iranian people and would "push a poisonous dagger" into their back.  "

Lets Get Real:

This is not a smart move by the Ayatollah, the Trump Oval is under pressure due to the Senate trial on his impeachment by the House, and his recent assassination order has come under harsh critical review by Democrats.   The Trump Oval tends to lash out when he is attacked, and Trump has the US Navy in the Gulf, if the Tehran Regime does something foolish like attack another US Flagged ship or a US military vessel, the Trump Oval might over react and order a full scale attack on Iran.   The take out of the Tehran Regime, would be applauded by most US voters.   The theocracy in Iran better be careful, they are walking a a very thin red line.

The US and the West should place more sanctions on IRAN, force the people on the streets in large numbers to take down the EVIL REGIME, the revolution of 1979 was a disaster for Iran, the theocracy of the Regime knows no bounds, it kills its own people, prevents peaceful demonstrations, arrests the opposition, suppresses the popular will of the people of IRAN.  The REGIME has to be bought down before it gets the bomb, a nuclear armed Iran is a threat to the US and to the West, the story of this Regime can only end one way, otherwise we have another North Korea on our hands.
