Secretary Kerry and Syria - Syrian Crisis Update

Telegraph: Reports on comments made by the new US Secretary of State, John Kerry,  while on on his first trip to London as US Secretary of State, Mr Kerry stated the following on Syria, " ..sought to heal a rift with Syria's opposition on Monday, promising not to leave them "dangling in the wind" as they struggle against President Bashar al-Assad. ".

Lets Get Real:

In other words folks the Oval after rejecting the advice of State, Defence and the CIA will arm the Syrian rebels,  the sole reason that the Oval did not arm the rebels in the firs term was the worry that it would cause problems for the Oval with his liberal base, they do not matter now, what worries the Oval is how History will deal with Obama's record when it comes to foreign policy.    On the plus side the Oval has finished the US presence in Iraq, also lead from behind to bring down Gaddafi of Libya.   Its the negatives that are the problem, the lack of a US presence in Iraq has allowed an increase in violence, while Iran is closer to the bomb, the US threw its ally Hosni Mubarak under the bus, thus allowing for a Muslim Brotherhood Government in Egypt,  the relationship between the Oval and Israel is at frozen as you can get for an ally.   In Syria Al Qaeda is supporting the Syria rebels, while the West is seen as being slow and not helping with rebels.  In  Afghanistan the Oval is worried that once the US leaves the terrorists will come back and the nuclear armed secular Government of Pakistan could come under threat.     Then there is North Korea, it is developing its ICBM and nuclear technology, a threat to the region and a supplier to Iran.   Thus folks, Syria, Iran or North Korea could sink a 2nd Obama term, just ask Carter how foreign policy can destroy your Presidency.
