Russia REFUSES to decrees Troops on the Ukraine Border - Biden Era

Lets Get Real:

One does wonder when Putin will pull the plug on this diplomatic sideshow, it is CLEAR that the Russians Diplomats have been told to keep to the Party line, that Ukraine must not be allowed in to NATO and that NATO forces should be removed from Eastern Europe States in NATO.  These States were in the old Warsaw Pact in the Cold War.  The Biden Oval should take the LEAD, send in the 101st Airborne, on a goodwill visit to Kiev and the border between the West and East Ukraine.  This would draw a line in the sand, show Putin's Kremlin that the US and the West will not be LEAD by the whims of President Putin.  Also it should be LEAKED what sanctions the Russian Federation would face if it did invade the Ukraine, make them eye watering for the Kremlin and the Russian people.  The West has had enough of following Putin, time to show the Kremlin who really is in charge, better than having to react to a Russian invasion of the Ukraine.

Together, the United States and our allies made it clear we will not slam the door shut on NATO's open door policy....Moscow is using increasingly aggressive rhetoric, spreading propaganda information saying it is Ukraine that is seeking conflict, not Russia.....It bears repeating that it was Russia that invaded Ukraine in 2014. It is Russia that continues to fuel a war in eastern Ukraine that has claimed 14,000 Ukrainian lives and now it's Russia's actions that are causing a renewed crisis. "

As stated in this blog yesterday, these meetings, Geneva, Brussels and tomorrow in Vienna are sideshows, the Kremlin has made its mind up to invade, it has ringed the Ukraine with its forces, it has to ACT or the Russian troops will get fed up and start to get angry, also the Russian people has been been fed propaganda that Ukraine is the THREAT, will start to wonder WHY their troops are there, Putin has blocked himself in, he has made DEMANDS that NATO and US cannot agree too, Putin wants to reverse the history of the past 23 years.  The Kremlin wants the Ukraine back in Russia and wants to have military influence over Eastern Europe.  The Diplomats sent by the Kremlin didn't even have the power to agree to further meetings, on missile talks, army games etc.  After tomorrow talks this blog expects a three pronged invasion, the Russians will want to go all the way, the whole of the Ukraine, the West can expect a bloodbath.

Lets Get Real:

It seems that the Senate Democrats cannot count, they do not have the votes to get rid of the filibuster or to make major changes to it, Manchin has spoken, it is not going to happen, the West Virginian Senator wants co-operation with the Republicans, the Senator is right to be concerned, the Democrats could be in the minority after the Mid Terms, who cuts off their own legs for just short term base gain.  The Democrats have to remember, BIDEN is no LBJ or Bill Clinton, he cannot get BBB over the line, Obama got ObamaCare through at the cost of losing the Congress, Biden poll numbers are in the toilet and going down the to sewers, he might not have to think about running in 2024, his polls could be so BAD that he withdraws fearing what a LOSS would be like to his legacy.  The Democrats should be looking at smaller packages that have the support of Manchin not looking to the base that is FAR LEFT and not in the middle of America. Politics is about counting after all.

Lets Get Real:

The Russians are just playing this out, they want to show the Russian people that they tried all peace full means before going to WAR in the Ukraine.  President Putin wants to return to the World were the old USSR had influence and control of Eastern Europe, before the break up of the WARSAW PACT, this is not going to happen, its a ACT from Russia, they must know that if they tried anything in the Baltic States or Poland it could lead to World War 3.  The Ukraine is the best chance for Putin to rebuild the OLD USSR, he has a problem, Biden cannot afford another foreign policy disaster just before the Mid Terms in the US and he cannot promise anything in public or secret, Putin will be aware what happened to Khrushchev after his secret deal with Kennedy on the Turkish missiles after the Cuban Missile Crisis, Khrushchev was seen to have backed down to the West and was removed as leader of the USSR.   Thus Biden has to stand FIRM and block Putin, one has to blink or we could see a major WAR in Europe, nothing seen since World War 2.

Lets Get Real:

This shows that Biden does not want to do a Turkey sell out as JFK did in the Cuban Missile Crisis and it remind secret for decades, also he does not want to be another Neville Chamberlain, Ukraine will not be the Czechs who were sold out by the British in 1938.  The Russians or least Putin must understand that his demands cannot be met, that the history cannot be reversed back to 1997, before the Eastern European Members of NATO joined.  Thus it has to be postulated that Putin is looking for the TALKS to fail, and then to invade the Ukraine, well at least East Ukraine and absorb that in to the Russian Federation.  The question is what will the Biden Ova do, it has threatened heavy sanctions against Russia if it invades, and the sanctions would start at the top.  Also to send military equipment to the Ukraine as to allow it to defend itself, this final THREAT might make Putin think again, he doe not want to see hundred of dead Russians coming back; it has been reported that Russians have dug ditches for their dead should the Russians invade; that is something that he could not HIDE as he does now.  Of course there is always the chance that Putin has gone barmy and does not care about the reaction of the West, if that is the case, it will be a very COLD winter ahead.

The mood music from the TALKS are not good, it can be postulated that the Russians are not interested in REAL TALKS, they want a reason to invade the Ukraine, it can be argued that the Russians might invade the Eastern Ukraine and absorb that in the Russian Federation.  That would mean Putin has taken parts of Georgia, the Crimea and Eastern Ukraine, he is really trying to form the old USSR.  Let's recall that Putin thinks the fall of the USSR was the greatest tragedy of the 20th Century, yes he is that OUT OF IT.  On the other hand, if Putin takes the East Ukraine it would allow for a red line between the Ukraine and Russia, the Kiev Government might place pressure on the US and NATO to allow it to join sooner than expected. If this happens Putin might be inviting NATO in to Russia in his view.  There are more meetings, but they are for show, this blog expects an invasion in a few weeks, while it is winter and roads are good, recall what happened to the Nazi invasion of Russian 1941 when the weather changed.  One really hopes the Biden Oval is up to the job and the NATO sticks together, the BALTIC STATES and POLAND need to be protected.

Thus " President " Manchin has ended the Biden domestic agenda on the HILL, the Senator has been very CLEAR over the holiday period, he has had enough of talking about BBB, its dead as a dodo.  The Biden Oval has shown that it is no FDR with the New Deal, or LBJ with the Great Society or Ronald Reagan with his tax cuts or Bill Clinton with the boom years of the late 1990s.  The Biden Oval should look to refresh his domestic agenda staff, they have let him down, they pushed the Senator to his wits end, they didn't get the fact that the Senate is 50/50, this is not like the large majorities that FDR or LBJ had, also Biden cannot cut it on the Hill.  One does hope that Biden does a  better job in foreign affairs, for the sake of us all.
