Jeb Bush on Donald Trump - Election 2016

According to a report Mr Bush made disparaging remarks about his rival for the Republican presidential nomination "

Lets Get Real:

It seems that Jeb Bush might not be ready for prime time, if the above is true is shows that Governor Bush allows others to get under his skin, Donald Trump was supposed to have blown it  by now, but he still in the race.   It depends how Trump and Bush do tonight, after his mistakes with Clinton and Trump, one would think that Governor Bush would be more careful and not allow the big persona of Tumper to get under his skin.   Lets recall Bush 41 was Vice - President to Ronald Reagan and was a very loyal VP, being in that spot means always being in the shadow of POTUS.  It was rewarded with the Presidency in 1988, Jeb Bush should learn from his father.  The attack dog of any campaign in the Vice - President, the candidates have to shown they want the job but also that they can be Presidential.

The Democratic Debates - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

The point of the Democratic Debates is to PROTECT Hillary Clinton, there are no other real candidates, so the Democratic Party has to create some buzz about the race, thus this later debate and a limited amount of debates.    The Democrats want to make sure that HRC is battle ready and is aware of any weak points in her campaign.   There is always the Biden factor, will the current US Vice - President, Joe Biden run, he would have to get the money in fast and does he want to spend a year on the campaign trail, also lets be honest here he will be in his 70s if he gets elected, an Biden no NO REAGAN.

The Two Republican Debate - Election 2016

Fox News: There are two Republican debates tonight, one at 5pm and one at 9pm, the main one is at 9pm, this has ten of the candidates with the best poll ratings with Republicans, the article states the following on the first debate, " Syndicated columnist and Washington Examiner chief political correspondent Byron York wrote that the 5 p.m. debate provides opportunities for candidates for several reasons. Namely, Trump won't be on the stage dominating attention, it will be less personality-driven, and the winner of the debate will get momentum.  "

Lets Get Real:

This blog will be watching both debates to see how Governor Perry does in the first debate, after his disaster the last time when he could not name the Government Departments he wanted to close down, lets hope he is up to speed, he could be a real challenge if he ups his game tonight.  Then we come to the main EVENT, how will Donald Trump do with the rest of the pack at his heels, will he remain cool, and above the fight or will he allow the other candidates to get under his skin.   Also it is time for Governor Jeb Bush to show he can hack it, he has gotten in to a fight with HRC that did not need to happen, he has to to ready to take the fight to Trump, or Senator Rubio could come from behind as the main challenge to Trump.  The Debate is late in the UK, you will need a lot of coffee, its a two hour debate.

Corbyn and disarmament - Labour Leadership Election

Lets Get Real:

IF the UK gave up its nuclear missiles it would be a national disaster and open the UK to be blackmailed by even North Korea.   One gets the impression that Mr Corbyn has been caught out by his own success and at the end of the day does not want to be Labour leader, it would be a thankless job even for Mr Corbyn,  most of his MPs would be after his head after a few months if he was lucky, the Labour Party would go so left it would never get elected again to government.   This is madness by Labour, when will the grown ups take charge, or is it to late for New Labour within the Labour Party.

End the Labour Madness - Alan Johnson, Former Home Secretary

Lets Get Real:

The problem with Yvetter Cooper is that she is married to Ed Balls, the once right hand man for Gordon Brown, the Blair or virus section of the party might think they have gone down the Gordon Brown road with Ed Miliband and do not want to lose in 2020.   But on the other hand it would allow time for David Miliband to come back after a few years and take the Party in to the 2020 election, as a campaigner Ms Cooper does not impress and is too rigid in the House of Commons.  At least Ms Cooper is not CORBYN, and it would be up to her to show that Ed Balls is not pulling the strings from behiond the curtain or their front door.   If only Mr Johnson had wanted to be leader, he would have saved the Party a lot of stress over the last few weeks.

Biden vs. Clinton - Election 2016

Lets Get Real:

The Clintons are not taking prisoners this time, they are in the 2016 election to win, and in that process they will roll over and will not forgive any blocks on the road.   As a sitting Vice President, Joe Biden should have been a front runner, but he has left it to late, the Clintons have the money tied up and most of the Democratic establishment.  Also a move by Biden would place POTUS in a bad position, he would have to make sure that any policy news does not hurt his VP.  If Biden does not run then POTUS can push for action via executive action and hope it sticks after 2016.   Also lets be honest here, both Hillary and Joe are not young any more, does the VP really want to spend a year on the campaign trail, it would be wiser for the VP to be made a Ambassador to Europe in a Clinton victory.    The running for Presidency is a young man, woman's game these days.

The Burnham Family vs. Corbyn - Labour Leadership Contest

Telegraph: Reports on the views of the mother and father of Any Burnham, the article notes the following, " Mr Burnham's 75-year-old mother, Eileen, and father Roy, 74, both attacked Mr Corbyn over his plans to move Labour further to the left. "

Lets Get Real:

The important month is August, the Country on the whole goes on holiday that month, even Westminister, so who ever really wants the job has to campaign when everyone else has turned off and looking for a good time at the beach.   This is the time for Liz Kendall to get her high heels and to start to hit the opposition, being Labour Leader is a thankless job at the best of times, and it is not the best of times, thus the candidates will have to make their presence felt, do interviews, go around the Country, make sure your on the social media, and if ALL else fails, PRAY, can not do any harm.
