What GAME is Iran playing? - Obama's 2nd Term Blues

BBC News: Reports on Iran's new nomination for its UN post in New York, " The Obama administration says Iran's nomination of a former hostage-taker as its ambassador to the United Nations is "extremely troubling".

Lets Get Real:

This move by Tehran is a REAL kick in the teeth for President Obama, since coming in to Oval Office in 2009 the Oval has tried to develop talks with Iran over its nuclear ambitions, the latest talks are not seen as having a great chance of success, this move by Tehran could be a way out for the Government of Iran, if Obama gives the green light the right and even some Democrats will jump on him, he could even be in pictures with the UN Ambassador from Iran, the rawness of the hostage crisis that took down the Carer Presidency has not be forgotten in the US, if the Oval Office says NO, then Iran can say that the talks have failed due to the actions of the Americans.   One has to assume that Tehran must have known that the history of their nominee would come to light, while at the same time having talks with the US about a final deal, there have been reports that the Conservatives in Iran have told their new President that either he gets a deal that benefits Iran or he is out of office.   Any deal that allows Iran to get near to becoming a nuclear power will not be approved either by the US Senate or Israel, a treaty or agreement could lead to Israeli striking Iran with all its power, thus in a sense this move by Tehran might be the straw that breaks the Treaty, various sides have an interest outside the main players in making this deal fail, the Conservatives in Iran who do not want a better relationship with the West and Israel and its supporters, yes this blog, who see any DEAL as another Munich 1938, the real world is raw, brutal and not for the faint hearted.

The New York Times: Has the following editorial comment on the latest Judgement by the US Supreme Court on how much individual Americans can spend overall in an election cycle, from candidates to pressure groups, " The Supreme Court on Wednesday continued its crusade to knock down all barriers to the distorting power of money on American elections....court’s campaign-finance rulings have determinedly eaten away at the court’s own precedents and decades of anticorruption efforts by members of Congress.. ".

Lets Get Real:

This is typical of the liberal NYT, when it Unions or rich left wing Americans giving money the uber liberal NYT tends to be quiet, when the US Supreme Court wants to allow Americans to decide how much they spend the liberal elite press goes crazy, it all right for uber left wing rich people or Unions to fund their pet projects but the idea that the right should have the same right sends the left up the wall.   The NYT still thinks its the 1970s after Watergate, WELL WAKE UP its the 21 Century, things might have changed since the time of Richard Nixon.   The US Supreme Court was right to reduce the red tape,  it should go further, there should be NO Limits on how much an individual or company gives to a political candidate, its a matter of free speech, its the FREE part that the NYT is missing, not new, they covered for Stalin and still release secret files that damage US national interests. 

7 Million sing up for ObamaCare - REALLY? Do you trust the Obama Admin

The Hill: Reports the following from the Obama White House, " More than seven million people enrolled in ObamaCare by the March 31 deadline, topping the White House's initial goal, the administration said Monday. ".

If you TRUST the Obama White House you need your right to VOTE taken away, those that trust the Obama White House are the same people who believe EVERY lie this Administration has stated, from Libya to the IRS scandal.   So questions to these CRAZY liberals and the elite media that kisses the backside of President Obama. 

1. How many of those enrolled in ObamaCare have paid.

2. Will the insurance companies need a bailout, if so do voters want to bailout ObamaCare and the Democratic Party.

3. How many of those that enrolled in ObamaCare had a plan before it was taken away by ObamaCare.

4. How many young and healthy have signed up, the con scheme that is ObamaCare only works if there are more young and health people than older people who are ill.

5. How many people have asked and being granted an exception, due to hardship, and this term NOW is very liberal, watching paint dry counts, in bed asleep, etc, thus do not have to pay a penalty.

6. How many people will be charged by the IRS for failing to get ObamaCare,? What is the cost of the IRS chasing people.

Those questions should be enough to keep Democrats worried right up in till November 2014, elections have results, lets hope for a Republican House and Senate and a Republican President in 2016. 

Did Torture WORK after 9/11 - Bush 43 Years

Telegraph: Reports the following from Capital Hill, " 'Torture was not essential to find bin Laden’, US Senate report will find..A still-secret US Senate report into the use of “enhanced interrogations” in the wake of 9/11 will find that torture was not necessary or effective, it has been claimed ".

As the Democrats have a majority on the US Senate Committee it is in their interest to get this out before the 2014 Mid Terms, it will be used to get the base out, make the Bush 43 public enemy No1 for liberals and those on the extreme left.   The question everyone should ask is after 9/11 would you have wanted President Obama charge, Bush 43 prevented further attacks on the US, while President Obama has had the Boston bombings and the deaths in Libya.   The left when it fears election disaster always goes left, the point they fail to get is that torture works, everyone breaks, if you want to be defended you vote Republican, never for A Democrat. 

A kick in the teeth for Russia - NATO vs. Russia - Ukraine Crisis

Guardian: Reports the following from NATO, " ..plans stronger military ties to ex-Soviet states south of Russia..Foreign ministers consider holding joint exercises with Azerbaijan, Armenia and Moldova after annexation of Crimea ".

This will drive President Putin NUTS, if above happens it will be seen as an international smack in the face for Putin and Russia, its about time the West stopped playing nice with former KGB President, showed some spine, remind Russia that is LOST the Cold War, one could even say as President Obama has said that Russia is only a regional power, a bear that has lost its honey pot and is holding on to its power by the only fact that it supplies the West with gas, that what happens when you lose a major War even a COLD ONE, you have to suffer the fate of ALL failed Empires, Russia should be used to that after the fall of the Tsarist Empire and the USSR.

Thus another LIE from the Russian bear, lets hope Kremlin is not starting to believe its own spin, that would be a risk for Moscow and the West.    If Russia does not move troops from the border the West should think about giving Kiev arms to deal with a possible Russian invasion, at least then Kiev could try and fight back, and it would be a warning to Moscow that the West has the back of the new Kiev Government.   President Putin must know that the West would find out if Russia lied about any partial withdrawal, so why the LIE, after that anything else out of Moscow is suspect, very odd Russian Bear. 

Obama vs. Putin - Ukraine Crisis Latest

The White House: Readout of Telephone call between President Obama and Putin on the Crisis in the Ukraine, " President Putin called President Obama today to discuss the U.S. proposal for a diplomatic resolution to the crisis in Ukraine, which Secretary Kerry had again presented to Foreign Minister Lavrov at the meeting at the Hague earlier this week, and which we developed following U.S. consultations with our Ukrainian and European partners.  President Obama suggested that Russia put a concrete response in writing and the presidents agreed that Kerry and Lavrov would meet to discuss next steps.

President Obama noted that the Ukrainian government continues to take a restrained and de-escalatory approach to the crisis and is moving ahead with constitutional reform and democratic elections, and urged Russia to support this process and avoid further provocations, including the buildup of forces on its border with Ukraine.

President Obama underscored to President Putin that the United States continues to support a diplomatic  path in close consultation with the Government of Ukraine and in support of the Ukrainian people with the aim of de-escalation of the crisis.  President Obama made clear that this remains possible only if Russia pulls back its troops and does not take any steps to further violate Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.  President Obama reiterated that the United States has strongly opposed the actions that Russia has already taken to violate Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity. ".

Lets Get Real:

Interesting, it was  Putin who called the Oval Office, has the economic sanctions started to work, is he worried that there might be harder sanctions, or is this just a bluff while his Army gets read to invade the East of Ukraine.   Is the Russian Army not quite ready fight a War in the Ukraine, are there internal pressures from Putin's rich friends for him to back off, God its like the Cold War, reading the smoke signals from the Kremlin.   This weekend could be interesting, either WAR on talk talk, this move by Putin might mean that he has flinched at the final move of an invasion, so many questions, not to many answers.
