US Natoonal Defence Strategy - Update

BBC News: Reports on the new US National Defence Strategy as published by the War Department.   In essence NATO and Asian Allies are up the Creek with No paddle.   It states South Korea can deal with North Korea, Taiwan does not get a mentioned, even after US sold billions in defence equipment to the Island.   This document is an isolation US view of the World.

Lets Get Real:

Thus NATO Allies will have protect the Ukraine, Taiwan on the whole is by itself, even if the US law must protect the small Democrstic Island.  The paper will be a bigger shock to South Korea, this blog predicts predicts it will develop a nuclear bomb, it has too, North Korea is a nuclear armed State.   Trump is a menace to World security, let's hope the Democrats win big in November and push back on Trump.

UAE Talks End - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 12.48pm post that the talks between Ukraine, Russia and the US have finished in UAE.

Lets Get Real:

Thus we await the details of the talks, did any one flinch, did any of the sides give concessions, the Ukraine on the Donbas, the same with Russia, and what did the US say at the talks.  Sky News reports the UAE has stated the talks were constructive and the sides talked to each other.  President Zelensky has stated there will be further talks.  This has been done not to upset the Trump Oval.

Meeting in UAE to carry on tomorrow - Update

Sky News: Reports in its 7.08am post that the meeting between the US, Russia and the Ukraine will carry on tomorrow in the UAE.

Lets Get Real:

One does hope the talks are productive, who will blink first, one hopes not the Ukraine under pressure from Trump's America.  The Donbas cannot be given away as a form of appeasement, if you give in to a bully, he will come back for more.  

Its all about the Donbas for Russia - Update

Noted: The Slander by POTUS that NATO did not have their troops on the front line in Afghanistan, the UK lost over four hundred of its Armed Forces Personnel in Afghanistan.   POTUS should apologise, he won't, his ego is out of control.

Guardian: Reports in its 10.13am post that the Kremlin is demanding that Ukrainian forces leave the Donbas before Peace Talks carry on.

Lets Get Real:

The Russian demands have not changed, they want the whole of the Donbas, even parts they do not control.  Trump is seen as an appeaser by the Putin, thus he can wait Trump out, and freeze the poor people of Ukraine, in till they give Russia what it wants, a pawn of Russia.  Will Trump walk away and say he did his best, will he stop allowing NATO to buy American weapons for the Ukraine, and what about intelligence sharing, will that carry on.   

US Delegation in talks with Putin in Moscow - Update

Guardian: Reports in its 8.33pm post that US Delegation is in a meeting with President Putin in Moscow.

Lets Get Real:

Thus we shall see or hear President Putin's latest demands and what he agrees to or not with deal. This blog will be shocked if he says YES at all, Russian demands have not changed.  The Russians, Ukrainian and US delegations will meet tomorrow in the United Arab Emirates, is this the last throw of the Dice by Trump, before he walks away?

Trump's Good Meeting with President Zelensky - Update

Sky News:  Reports in its 1.25 post, that President Trump has stated he had a good meeting with President Zelensky of Ukraine.  The meeting lasted an hour.

Lets Get Real:

Thus no announcement of an economic package that was expected to be signed today, before Greenland got the attention of the press.   Thus we will have to wait for the meeting tomorrow between US Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Putin of Russia.  Back to important issues of peace and war.

Peace in Ukraine soon - Trump

BBC News: Reports in 10.29am post that President Trump has said that the War he thought would be the most easy to end, Ukraine- Russia war, is the hardest, but peace could come soon.

Lets Get Real:

Today was about Trump' Board of Peace, Europe has stayed away, the UK and France said NO, they don't want to join with Putin on Board, as to the Ukraine, US Envoy Steve Witkoff has stated there was only one issue to discuss, he is on his way to Moscow.  President Zelensky will meet President Trump today.

Update: The US and Ukraine agree security guarantees, but documents need to be signed.
