The Duke of Sussex gave a powerful interview after losing his court case over his security.  The problem is that the Duke LEFT the UK for the US, it was his decision, he left the country not the other way around.   The King is the King fighting cancer, he does not need these kind of headlines before VE Day, the Duke should have done this privately and through the family, not in public for everyone to see, forgiveness is a two street, the Duke has not helped himself or his reputation with this move.

US out as Mediator in Ukraine War - Trump47

Daily Mail: Reports that the US will withdraw as a mediator in the Ukraine War.

Lets Get Real:

This not shocking news, Trump is not a details guy, he likes winning the news cycle.  Diplomacy takes time, Trump is not an expert on Foreign Policy, he knows how to make economic deals, thus the mineral deal with the Ukraine, as long as Trump allows the Ukraine to buy weapons, then the Ukraine has a chance against Russia.

 Sky News: Reports in its 11.08am post that President Trump has allowed the Ukraine to buy weapons from the US, the first time the post notes.

Lets Get Real:

Thus you can buy weapons from the US if you give them half your mineral deposits, at least Trump has moved on the ISSUE, the Russians are not happy, that is good, anything that is upsetting to the Russian Bear is good, thus not a complete disaster after a 100 days.  The Ukraine and the West can not afford to lose to Russia.

Trump likes good news, he loves and hates media, fake news as he calls it, as the above article states, he was not going to sack Waltz when the press wanted his scalp, he has waited past his 100th day and the signing of the mineral deal with the Ukraime, the one foreign policy success of the Administration.   There still the Ukraine War out there and Gaza, also Iran.  Who will be the new NSA?

BBC News: Reports in its 4.02pm post that Mike Waltz is to leave his post as National Security Advisor.

Lets Get Real:

This is the price of failure in the Trump White House, no success in the Ukraine War, Gaza, no chance of taking over the Panama Canal, the same with Greenland.  Trump wanted a success on his 100th day in OFFICE, and didn't have one.

UPDATE: Waltz has been nominated to be the US Ambassador to the UN.  MORE a sideways move, keeps him in the camp, just needs Senate Approval.  After Signal scandal could be a problem!

UPDATE 2: Secretary of State Marco Rubio will be the NSA also, another Henry Kissinger, could be, never know with Trump.

The King has been brave about his cancer, in the past it would have been hidden from public view, that the King has been so open about, shows that people need to be aware of it, and not be afraid to go to the Doctor to check out any worry.   Also the various organisations out there to help people with cancer. God Save the King.

US to sign Minerals deal with Ukraine - Trump47

BBC News: Reports in its 7.43pm post that  the US ready to sign a minerals deal with the Ukraine.

Lets Get Real:

The US can now exploit the mineral wealth of the Ukraine, as Trump believes that the Kyiv Governmemt has exploited US funding for the WAR.  The question is will the Ukraine gain anything from the deal, so far NO security guarantees for Kyiv, Trump47 thinks US business being there is a security guarantee.  Time will tell!
