Also Putin wants to force the Ukraine Government to divert its small forces from the direct fight with the Russian Forces to the protection of the North. It should be noted that Putin has millions of men, he does not care about the death total at end of the day, as long as he wins. Failure is not an option for Putin, there are rumours that he is very ill, or that his Court is turning on him and he does not want to be overthrown. It is going to be a LONG WINTER in the Ukraine and the West.
